I was on a work trip and was looking for a place to eat for dinner. I found this place through Yelp. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by staff. The staff were friendly and very polite. I ordered the turkey chop dinner with cabbage/green combo, Mac and cheese and cornbread muffin. The turkey chop was very delicious and flavorful. The cabbage/greens combo was delicious but the Mac and cheese was lacking a little flavor. The muffin was soft, sweet and flavorful. The meal was reasonably priced. The restaurant ambiance is customer friendly and the meat is made to order. The menu has some great items on the menu. This is a great place to go for a delicious and filling meal.

Baked Chicken Dinner, Mac and Cheese, Candied Yams

I was in the mood for some good soul food and Granny's Kitchen didn't disappoint. I ordered the dinner, which comes with one meat and three sides plus two corn bread muffins. I chose the baked chicken, two sides of mac and cheese, yams, and some peach cobbler for desert. The bake chicken was seasoned to perfection and was so tender it fell off the bone - 4.5/5. The max and cheese was nice and cheesy, creamy, and had the classic flavor I was hoping for - 5/5. The yams were sweet and sticky - 4/5. The peach cobbler was really good. I loved the amount of crust it had in it - 4/5. My only issue was with the corn bread. One piece of the corn bread was over cooked, the second piece was perfectly cooked - 3/5. The customer service was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located in a small stipe mall with minimal parking. I will be returning to try additional menu options.

Baked chicken, cabbage and Mac and cheese

I am so disappointed. This is the second time I've ordered from here through Uber Eats. The first time, I received someone else's order. Tonight, I ordered baked chicken, greens, macaroni and cheese, and yams. Instead, I received cabbage mixed with greens (which I do not eat), and the macaroni and cheese was dry and tasted awful. The baked chicken looked like it had been sitting all day. This has happened too many times, and I won't be ordering again.

Picture of the burnt food that I ordered

The Owner needs to get involved Immediately!!! *This is the 2nd time that I had received my food burnt. Both times I spoke to the Manager and he refunded my money but here's the reason why I decided to write because it's an ongoing issue. I ordered when the store was just opening for the day.

pig feet was tender and juicy!

Fall of the bone meats, soothing sauces and rich flavors all across the board. Eric continues family tradition at this 10 year old LA staple that is continuously busy. From pig feet to savory greens and turkey you'll be returning for more. Unassuming to some but you'll soon come to know that that's often where the best food takes refuge. Everything behind the counter is steaming still and soaking in the sauce and seasonings kept secret by years of family tradition. Support our good people and good friends here! You won't be disappointed. Shoutout to Eric and the whole team, stay eatin!

She had such a friendly attitude, which honestly makes such a difference when you're trying a place for the first time. The service was smooth, everything moved pretty quickly, and the staff made the whole experience feel comfortable and easy. Of course, the food was the main reason I came, and it did not disappoint. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and like real comfort food. You can tell the food is made with care, and the portions are definitely satisfying. It's the type of food that feels homemade and filling in the best way. I also really loved the ambiance. The inside was clean, cozy, and had so much personality. I especially loved the aesthetic and all of the decorations throughout the restaurant. There were so many little details that gave the space character and made it feel warm and welcoming instead of just feeling like another place to grab food. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Dulan's. Between the sweet customer service, the delicious soul food, and the beautiful atmosphere, it was a great experience from start to finish. I would definitely come back and try more from the menu next time. Highly recommend if you're looking for good soul food in LA with a welcoming vibe.

I ordered 2 dinners short ribs the Sunday special & a vegetable plate at 12:21 my number was 908 they started to call numbers that were higher than minds so I went back over to ask the window where orders are taken the young lady said they forgot to put my ticket in, I asked since they forgot could I get piece of chicken for the inconvenience she asked the manager who had went to help the kitchen and she said no. At 1:21 1 hr later I got my food, and to my disappointment when I got home the food was not good the yams i don't even have words for, the greens no seasoning and a lil under cooked, the succotash the okra not cooked well again no seasoning and a lot of end pieces, the black eyed peas no seasoning very bland, the cornbread was very thick. So sad the state this restaurant is in, they need to revamp too much going on door dash orders, online orders, dine in and orders at the window. So with that said this will be my last time going back to this restaurant.

Annie's can take the crown for BEST Soul Food in LA…read more This restaurant is always extremely busy & now I can finally understand why. The level of authenticity can be felt the moment you walk in. Every patron of the restaurant can be seen expressively enjoying their food. When you order a main protein, it comes with your choice of three sides & ofc their famous cornbread muffins. All the food is insanely filling so prepare to take home leftovers. * Beef Links 10/10: A massive, spicy beef sausage on top of a soft & fresh slice of white bread. It can't get any better. It stayed hot throughout my meal & was appreciated so much. That is f***g good. * Cornbread muffins 10/10: DELICIOUSLY served as an appetizer before your meal comes out. Comes fresh & hot with a side of sweet/cinnamon butter. It's perfect. * 8 Pc Wings 10/10: Seriously the best wings I've ever had in my life. Soul food restaurants know exactly how to coat the wings so that they become insanely crispy when fried. That aside, the Hot Honey seasoning was especially flavorful & mouthwatering. *Mac n Cheese 9/10: This is my style Mac. Not too ooey-gooey wet but just a perfect amount of cheese & roux. One point off because it has a smokey taste which just isn't my preference. * Candied Yams 11/10: MY GAWWWD. I'm in heaven. If you like very sweet potato's paired with a perfect buttery cinnamon dressing, then step right up. These are insane. I'm obsessed with that type of thing. *Greens w Turkey 3/10: Was not the biggest fan of this side. The flavor of the turkey overpowered the whole dish. The greens clearly basked with the turkey rather than just being placed together. I couldn't taste the greens, just meat flavoring. * Cabbage 7/10: I love cabbage. This side isn't anything crazy, it's a very simple thing for you to pair with whatever you ordered. Every meal needs one side that rlly holds it down. *Fried Okra 12/10: Seriously, you cannot get soul food without trying fried okra. This is just amazing. Perfectly crispy & delicious.

We got the fried catfish, which was nicely seasoned and crispy, with fried okra, collard greens with smoked turkey, and gravy over rice on the side. My friend got the oxtails with mac & cheese and was probably my favorite dish we tried. The oxtail was rich and tender, and that mac & cheese with the oxtail gravy together was good. We also tried the candied yams, and later got more food to take home because we were too full, like the cornbread. Their watermelon drink was really good too, and we got ours spiked. My friend told me he likes drinking it with Hennessy, so l we had to test that theory afterward. I can confirm it was a good combo. The restaurant itself had a nice, relaxed ambiance and I really enjoyed the food. My only issue was the wait, it was way longer than expected, and I'm still not really sure what caused it. Unfortunately, that was enough for me to knock off a star. Still, the food itself was worth trying, especially if you're craving some comforting soul food. I'd come back, hopefully with a shorter wait next time. 8/10

I needed a calming outdoors Patio to decompress after a long Labor Day at work so I decided to pop into Georgias and try their Southern Salmon which I have being itching to Tango with as a Foodie for a Hot Minute ;0) Carlos was my first point of Contact and he was so great and welcoming me back with spirited enthusiasm and reassuring me that he would be with me shortly after I told him I wanted to sit outside on the Patio! I was able to easily browse the Georgia's Menu online and all the gorgeously tantalizing Photography was so helpful in assisting me to choose my dinner and appetizers for the evening! I started off with a small cup of Jambalaya and told Carlos I wanted to try the Southern Salmon for Dinner which is served with a delicious honey glaze and their Signature House Mashed potatoes! Carlos affirmed that the Southern Salmon was an excellent choice and one of his personal favorites and happily informed me Georgia's was serving Strawberry Sangria for the Season so I added a glass along with my Hot Lemon Tea for the evening ;0) Carlos made sure to get my Cornbread and Hot Tea started for me right away and courteously offered to pace my appetizer and entree the way I liked to fully enjoy every bite! Georgia's Soul Food Restaurant - Eastvale, California…read more Georgia's isn't the best soul food I've had, but it's certainly not the worst. Overall, I'd describe it as average. I gave it 4 stars because the service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was served properly and presented well. Those details matter and contributed positively to the experience. That said, the food itself didn't quite measure up to the soul food restaurants I've enjoyed in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. Soul food is a competitive niche, and there are some outstanding establishments in Southern California that set a very high standard. If you're in the area and craving soul food, Georgia's is a decent option, but I wouldn't consider it a destination restaurant.
