Granny's Mini Hut Roseburg, Ore. This is a trailer converted into a food vending business. It was set back off the street and at first a little bit difficult to spot. Nice staff and good service. They advertised as the best burger in Roseburg and for that reason I went ahead and got a basic hamburger. I ordered the hamburger medium rare but unfortunately it came out to be a medium. Most places have trouble getting a hamburger cooked to a medium rare. The hamburger came dressed with the usual assortment of toppings, lettuce tomato onions pickle. The burger itself was kind of bland and could have used maybe salt and pepper or if there was salt and pepper maybe a bit more. The bun was fine, nothing out of the ordinary but it was not a sesame bun as pictured on their front billboard advertising. No big deal. The burger I ordered was $6 and was a 1/3 pound ground beef . As for being the best in Roseburg I would say not though there was nothing wrong with what I ordered. So if you're interested in getting an okay burger then this place will do just fine but there are better burgers in Roseburg. read more

I so wish I could give this place 5 stars, unfortunately the dining experience is lacking soo much due to the state of their business. The menu sign is now down on the ground in front of the order window and their patio tables and chairs are so horribly gross and uncomfortable. Everything looks like it needs to be scrubbed. As the 3 Stars says; A-OK. Good but not great. Stopped by for lunch yesterday, Wednesday, at about 1 PM. I bought the Double Bacon Cheeseburger w/ fries; $13.00. I saw some fries from another customer and they reminded me of In-and-Out fries. So, I ordered mine crispy, which he wrote down. They delivered my order in a very timely manner. The actual burger looked really good, great size, bread was nicely toasted and came w/ a nice sauce, tomato, pickles, lettuce. The fries were NOT well done and very limp. They were not really hot like they would be if they were made to order. But they were not at all crispy; minus 1 Star. The bacon on the 'bacon' burger was exceptionally thin and was 'only' equal to one slice of bacon, cut in thirds. It might have been 1 1/2 slices of their bacon, but it equaled one slice of regular (really thin) bacon I would buy at the store. I had to open up the burger to find it and the bacon offered no bacon flavor; minus 1 Star. The little indoor cafe area was very nice and clean with a bucket of condiments in ice, which was a good touch. They played Christian music, not my thing, but I really didn't care. Would I go back, I don't think so, not for $13.00. They had other burgers for a lower price but... I will say, it was worth trying out. As the 3 Stars states, it was A-OK. We stopped at this little hut on our way to California, follow the billboard, your GPS will confuse you; at least it did for us. The service was great, the staff were so friendly and recommended delicious burgers. We got a classic bacon cheeseburger and a BBQ burger. Both were phenomenal! The home style fries were meh; we could of done without, but our little pug dog appreciates them We got 2 burgers, one fry and two milkshakes for 27.75. The price was worth the real fresh burgers! Defiantly a must stop when looking for a burger!!! read more

Granny's really is almost a hole in the wall. It sits back from the road and is hard to spot. They do have a little parking or there's street parking. One burger and one burger basket (with tots) was $18. This was a little high but the burger was tasty and the tots were crispy. This was my first time having "fry sauce/goop"- it was amazing! I could eat the sauce plain without dipping anything in it. There was seating outside or in a little "shed" like area. Our table outside had an umbrella which was nice in the summer. The man who took our order was friendly and hollered to us to make sure we enjoyed our meal. read more
