I picked up a solid cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza and both were Yummy! I'm excited to try it again, along with a salad. I would have to say this is the best pizza joint in the area, for sure!

Every order has been simply delicious. I do not like spinach, at all but the spinach pie here is everything I didn't know I needed. I add some grilled chicken and tomato and it's wonderful! The salads are big and fresh and enough for 3 meals for me. Their grilled chicken and hummus is so tasty. My only gripe is I wish a smaller size pie was available for 1or 2 people. Otherwise this is one of my favorite pizzas!

I'm a regular now. They never miss. Outstanding pizza - best in the state without a doubt. Next to no flop, great crisp and flavor!

This is without a doubt the best pizza in the area and it's not even close. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the dough and sauce are phenomenal, and it was perfectly cooked. This will definitely be my go to spot going forward.

Note that this location is carry out only, there is no seating other than a few chairs to wait for your order. We ordered over the phone and it took them only 25 mins. This was such amazing pizza!! I do wish none of the crust was burned, but other than those couple slices, the rest was perfect! They have a fridge with bottles of regular soda and a few cans of Italian soda! Highly recommend, this will be our new go-to local pizza in the Birmingham area!

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Will never order from another local competitor. Every bite was crisp, not doughy in the middle. Flavor was amazing! Friendly owners! I'm always up for trying a new pizza place, so when I saw the sign go up for this place, I knew we'd be giving it a try. They don't have online ordering up and running yet, but they were very efficient when we called. We went for something traditional and also tried the garlic pizza - both were very good. The prices are a little high, but it's nice to have another solid pizza spot on the Birmingham scene.

A little bit more welcoming vibe would be nice. We've ordered here every week since they've opened. Not a single smile from the grand dame (owner's wife). A smile and a hello goes a long way. A thank you would be nice too--don't just shove my pizza and salad in my face. Here's your 1 star for service--if you can't improve next time I come in-- there's other pizza options and word of mouth marketing goes far. Learn how to speak to your customers and act like you appreciate them. Note-- I came in ahead of another customer; my food was ready but you attended to her ahead of me-- very disrespectful. read more

This place is a gem, with great pies, great cannoli, and great people. We sat and waited after ordering with two kids, and the operators were pleasant and welcoming to every pickup we witnessed and even taught my son how to use the credit card machine to buy a soda- dangerous but essential knowledge! We will be back after friday hockey at BHAM rink, for sure! read more

Very average ... meat balls are not good and embarrassing portion size .. pizza is ok. The most insulting is the 3 percent credit card fee .. I dthink if you charge 25 dollars for a pizza you do not have to dip into customers pocket any more. It's called cost of doing business.. . Was hoping for the best. Very very good pizza , I was a primos customer in the area and never knew about this place but definitely going to be my new go too over primos. Everything was fresh everything was tasty and very well cooked. Lady at front was very nice helping me, the people in the back could have smiled more and be a little more friendly but might have just been a long day for all of them haha. I was pleasantly surprised by my order. We had a pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza and Bianca. The pizza was very good. I look forward to trying the other options. The Bianca was a nice change of pace. The roasted garlic was a great touch. The service was kind and helpful. They had time for me and didn't make me feel rushed. I had a Greek salad. It was great quality, especially when compared to what you may expect at most pizza shops. Don't think of this place as the highest caliber pizza in the area. It isn't Neapolitan style. Don't look for leoparding of the crust. As far as ranking pizza in the Birmingham/Royal Oak area, I would rank it below Tomatoes, Biga and Crispelli's but above Brooklyn and certainly any carry out pizza around. The ingredients are quality. The toppings are thoughtful. This place is worth a try. We'll be back. read more

Well just when I thought pizzas could not get better I found this place. I ordered for me a new pizza. Marinara sauce. Three cheese oregano chicken. And I needed mushrooms and onions. Was super excited to try this place and support local. However, the customer service was TERRIBLE and I will be telling everyone I know to never go to this place. Honestly wish I could give this "restaurant" 0 stars. I was told my pizza would ready at 6:15pm and I waited an HOUR for my pizza. When I asked about where my pizza was, every single worker yelled at me instead of answering with kindness and proper customer service. If they would have told me my pizza would have been ready at 7:15pm, I would not have minded coming in at that time. Don't be wishful thinking with your order times and tell your customers to come in an hour early. After all that and how poorly I was treated, they got my order completely wrong. Some advice, don't bite off more than you can chew. Also, learn how to speak to your customers. read more

I can't believe I've only just discovered this wonderful place. Amazing salads (the Greek is filled with terrific add ins including freshly roasted beets), the pizza toppings are all freshly sourced. And most important to me is the gluten free. It's hard to find a good gf crust that's not deep dish. We ordered 3 pizzas, an entree and salads. All were wonderful. Well done, GP! Placed an order for a Pizza Carne two Fridays in a row. The first Friday the pizza was delicious flavorful loaded with olives cooked so you could eat it with your hand. Would've gave it a 4 1/2 or 5. The second Friday it was a whole different story. The flavor was gone. There were a few olives. The pizza was oily, and was impossible to eat by hand. When you would pick it up, the toppings would fall off the pizza. We were very disappointed. This time it wouldn't even have gotten a 3. for the price, One would consider consistency in the quality of the Pizza. We came back because of that flavor and quality from the first one. read more

Don't wast your time or money. Order was 1.5 hrs late. Was met with hostility and horrible attitude from the owners. With all that, they got my order wrong. Tomato's A Pizza and Crispelli has better pizza and friendlier service. read more

Probably my favorite pizza and salad place now. They seem to use really gourmet food/toppings. It tasted great, I even ate the crust! Good service, right on time. Someone recently claimed the fries aren't fresh and the burgers are made with frozen beef, and that's just not true. The food at Luxe is consistently delicious and high quality....always tastes fresh. The burgers are made with fresh, never-frozen beef, and so much of the menu is prepared in-house. The staff is genuinely kind, the service is great, and the quality has stayed consistent over the years. There's a reason Luxe has been a downtown Birmingham favorite for more than 15 years. If you haven't tried it yet, I definitely recommend giving it a chance and deciding for yourself. I think the food speaks for itself.

Clearly whoever bought the place or is managing partner knew how to do the redevelopment extremely well (truly well done even though no staircase to cig vending machine) and then they threw the baby out with the bath water running a complete shitshow high end steakhouse smothered by others that have equally good food and immensely better service. Great job on the redesign. Just a brutal experience. I really mean that. Fleming and Hyde Parker better service and prices and same food. Everywhere else in bham and Troy, but those two especially are consistently good with service and respect their guests. The cigar lounge will be public in short time as if your blowing $150 a person on dinner it shouldn't be an ordeal to simply see what it looks like now after the remodel.
