Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area, most likely passing through town on I-5. The place is huge with a deli, restaurant, store and bar. Every part of it has a hit or miss but I would still come back to get stuff that we liked. At the restaurant, an absolute hit was the potato skins, didn't expect it to be a serving for 4-6 people. Garlic bread was bomb with fresh garlic and butter served on a warm toasty homemade baguette. Spaghetti was good, ordered with meat sauce and meatballs but the kitchen forgot the meatballs so it came later. Lasagna was okay, I thought it was on the salty side but my teenager's palate says it's not and the spaghetti lacked salt and seasoning. The side salads were good, chili was also a winner. Portions were great. At the deli, I ordered sandwiches and sides to go, got the olives with garlic and pickled artichokes; they were alright, a little pricey for the portion of what you get. Service was fast considering they seem to be always busy. I also bought some deli meat, better than big box store deli. I got ice cream at the ice cream/dessert counter and noticed they sell commercial ice cream on top of what I assume is store made ones. Just try and be mindful of what flavor you're ordering so you won't get sucked in by their commercial options. I also got a brownie and cookie, tasted a little stale so never again. Their fruit pies/cobblers looked promising though. At their store, tons of selection of pickled vegetables in jars, jams, jellies, sauces, frozen Granzella's Restaurant items and fresh baked bread. I got a small container of pasta sauce from the freezer and jars of pickled olives. Again, lots of selections so be sure to read expiry dates. read more

A fun stop for the drive up I -5 in the town of Williams. A very large parking lot that can accomidate RV and larger vehicles. We ordered a delicious panini grilled Italian sandwich and split it cuz it was large. The baked goods are fresh so we also split an Apple fritter. I bought a bunch of fun named spice rubs to give as gifts and soup mixes. They also have a BIG selection of cold beers and a restaurant. Did not try the restaurant, but will next time. read more

Being part of a sports car club has taken me to places unknown and yet great finds, too. During a rally, we stopped here, and I was amazed by the size and variety of products. There are three large buildings. a motel, restaurant/store, and a gift shop. It is not that far off I-5, so it's a good place to take a rest break. In full disclosure, I bought and ate nothing, just browsed and took it all in. They have a lot of their own products for sale, from jams to salad dressings. I probably would have bought a number of things, but decided to come another time... it was fairly crowded. The aisles are fun to check over and some unique things. They have a large deli section and beer, lots of beer. The restaurant looked inviting enough, so I will be back! read more

Went to Granzellas early evening on Friday, ordered clam chowder bowl and side salad and it wasn't very busy. Chowder had almost no clam flavor, just potato soup. Tried to eat it but couldn't. Told server and she voided cost but never offered to order other food so I didn't get dinner. Staff standing around cutting up with each other, not filling water, backs to customers. When I paid I said I've been coming here for over 20 years and this is the worst it's been! Ever since Loui Cairo's burned, service and quality went downhill fast along with increased prices. Great place to stop if you are traveling north or south on I-5. This place is a "hidden gem" which includes a restaurant, deli and a very large selection of olives/olive oil, drinks, sourdough bread, etc. Also has nice clean bathrooms and plenty of Tesla chargers across the street. We had a trailer connected to our vehicle and there was plenty of parking for us and others who had trailers. My favorite thing about Granzella's is the deli. Sandwiches are fresh and they don't skimp on the meat. They have plenty of sides as well such as potato salad, chips, unique sodas and beer. We walked in and were put right by the loudest tv which made our ears ring, when we asked them to turn it down for us or see if we could move to another table they said they would turn it down, but when they did it was just as loud. That wasn't even the worst part, our food came out undone my girlfriend's taco bowl didn't have any meat in it so we had to send it back, and my ribs and raviolis seemed like they were made days ago and sitting under a heater all week. We stopped at Granzella's for a quick lunch on the Thursday between Christmas & NYE on a long drive south. Options along Hwy 5 are largely limited to fast food, so this was a welcome alternative! We ate at the delicatessen (rather than the sit down restaurant) which offers pretty quick counter service. They had a full menu board of sandwiches, as well as a salad option: you can turn any sammy (meat/cheese combo) into a salad with your choice of dressing. The food itself was good, but not phenomenal. My salad was large & fresh, but house-made dressing would have elevated the salad significantly, rather than pre-packaged Kraft brand. The deli area doubles as a mini specialty food store with locally produced goods, which were fun to peruse as we waited for our food order to be prepared. We didn't get a chance to walk across the street to Granzella's Gift Shop, but I'm sure we'll pass through again on a future drive south. read more

The ambiance is awesome, reminiscent of an old Italian deli. And the hours aren't bad for a small, rural town. There are actually a few different dining options. The dining room offers sit-down, table service. The deli offers sandwiches, minestrone, gelato, and baked goods to eat outside or at one of the few self serve tables. And lastly there's a bar with tables so anyone can eat in there; it's a bit less formal than the dining room and is open a little later. For what you get it's a little pricey, but it's good. What a roadside treasure! Was told about Granzella's by our friends that frequently travel to Oregon and it did not disappoint. A perfect pit stop for us as we traveled home and conveniently located in Williams off Interstate 5 this place is awesome, we grabbed a sandwich and some sweet bites and enjoyed it on the front patio. Plenty of indoor dining with a full menu of good eats. They also have a fantastic Italian grocery store carrying so much Italian goodness. Also has a gelato bar as well as a fully stocked wine section. We did pick up a few items to bring home. The "sanqwich" was delizioso, full of meat and cheese on a fresh roll we split it and it was more than enough, happy helpful service made our experience even better. They also have an Inn if you would like to spend the night and a gift shop that offers a multitude of items. In essence Grazella's is the ultimate oasis when driving north or south on Interstate 5, the perfect pit stop or overnight stay.
