Don't let the location turn you away! After growing up eating middle eastern food out of Dearborn MI I've been looking for some chicken shawarma down here with the same quality. Whoever is cooking knows what they are doing! Everything is very flavorful and tastes just how I remember it. This has been a weekly spot for me since I found it! Its a little odd but that's not a bad thing. Its a strip mall joint and so parking is hit or miss. The food is on point. It tastes like it was made in Dearborn Michigan and its interesting for sure. The menu seems to be a mish mash of Greek, Middle Eastern and Aisan. My Baba Ganoush was the best I have tasted in the last three years. Whoever makes this knows what they are doing. The lamb gyro was enough to feed two people. The breads look like they come from the New Yasmean Bakery on Warren Ave in Dearborn Michigan by looking at the wrapper. My mango frosty was as stiff as ice cream, very tasty too. The prices are low and the food is interesting. Just a couple of minor quibbles, the pickled turnip was tasteless, no pepperoncini is included with the gyro. Returning males did not wash their hands before donning gloves and re-entering the kitchen. read more

Delicious!!! This little gem is tucked away in a strip mall just off campus from Bowling Green university. Ordered the shawarma entree for $15. There was more than enough food for me & my companion who wasn't hungry but ended up eating half my meal once she tasted it. Shawarma chicken, salad with house dressing (very vinegary), perfect rice, creamy sour cream, garlicky hummus and generous portion of thin pita bread. The baklava dessert tray was beautiful but we just didn't have room. Quick & friendly service. The smoothies looked thick & yummy too. Give this little place a try. Passing through and needed something other than chain. This was Perfect! One of the best Chicken Gyros I've had in recent memory. I need this place in Columbus. The rice and hummus were also delicious and a perfect compliment. Next time I'll get my Gyro without the sauce, not needed with such perfectly seasoned chicken. Yelp says that three stars = Okay. This is a weak three star review. Sadeen was rocking the counter and register and doing a fine job! This is a carry-out operation that happens to have three 4-top tables. Dine-in orders are served in styrofoam to-go containers with plasticware. Nothing wrong with this if you appropriately set your expectations. Great salad, humus, rice and garlic sauce. I would have appreciated a few more peas and corn kernels in the rice. The pitas arrived wrapped in plastic wrap and at room temperature. I was hoping for a warm-ish, fresh from the oven experience. The kafta entree was dry. Dunno if it was overcooked or reheated ... and for the price point, the portion size was a bit stingy. If it matters, the restroom is Unisex. It was adequately clean, but could've benefited from someone spending two minutes with a broom. Will I return? Yes. I had such a great experience at Yala Kol! I came in with a group of friends and the staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering our questions. They cooked our food fresh right there and we got it in a timely manner. It was not too heavy, yet filling! I even had leftovers. A good price too for the amount of food received. The fries were very good and I loved the hummus and dipping sauce. Even the cupcake was delicious! I really enjoyed everything about my experience and meal so a 5 star rating is deserved!! read more

On the road and wanted something other than the usual fast food highway options. Hood yelp reviews led us to Ayala Kol. Very small space in a strip center with delicious food and friendly service. The chicken shwarma was delicious and well seasoned albeit a tad dry. Better pita would elevate the meal. Delicious hummus. Would definitely return. read more

I am so impressed! My falafel was so moist, the chicken was seasoned to perfection, and there was way too much food to eat. At other places you only get 2 pcs of falafel and here they give you five. Will not be going back. The wait was longer than anticipated. The portions for the cost were subpar and the meat was so dried out and tough that the supplied plastic ware would not cut/punture it. The dolmades were also crispy, lacking moisture. read more

This place went beyond our expectations! Amazing delicious food. Even the presentation and plating were pleasing to the eyes and this is not a fine dining restaurant. Fresh ingredients and attention to detail. We live in Findlay and we will be making this our destination for dining at least 3-4 times a week. Portions and pricing were perfect. Great quality food and huge portions! Got a gyro entree with a side of fattoush and rice, ate just under half of all of it, and I'm completely stuffed. I can't wait to get hungry again so I can finish the rest of it :) The pita bread is pretty flat and isn't my favorite, but the hummus is very smooth read more
