We stayed just one night at the Grape Leaf Inn but left wishing we booked more nights! This was out first hotel/overnight stay during COVID, but with masks required in shared areas and a sticker-sealed clean room, we felt quite safe. We arrived and were given glasses of bubbly and macarons, YUM! We took advantage of a free wine tasting at one of their partner wineries. And enjoyed some time relaxing in the huge tub! Maybe my only wish was that the pillows were thicker/fluffier, they were a bit flat. But the breakfast the next morning... omg to die for. Fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. Fresh juices and locally roasted coffee! I will definitely stay here again.

I was BLOWN away by this charming inn. It's adults only and is the perfect place for an adult getaway. Very quiet area but close to lively events. The staff is SUPER friendly and very thoughtful. The inn itself is perfectly located just a short walk from the square. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and I wish we had stayed longer. Lots of hand sanitizer stations. My only complaint was the bed was a little creaky and pillows were not the best. I will be back for sure!

Homemade Granola and Yogurt was such a nice opener with an omelette and baby potatoes for the main

My friend and I stayed at the Inn recently and I can't say enough good things about it, Tim the property manager was friendly helpful and so accommodating, he took us on a personal tour, which included the speakeasy, pool and cute community dining area.... This 100 year old Victorian is modern farm house with all of the updated amenities.... The chocolate chip cookies to the Breakfast was on point we will be back again soon!

We stayed at Grape Leaf Inn for the first time but it won't be our last. We found this lovely B&B while looking for pet friendly accommodations. I'm so happy we did! Great location, clean and cozy room, and best of all, their complimentary breakfast was just phenomenal! I'd go back just for that breakfast!! Our room was Champagne Suite, a cottage detached from the rest of the property with a private patio and an indoor & outside shower! It had the "spa retreat" feel to it and was very charming. I also appreciated the attentive staff and their communication. As soon as I booked the room, I've got a personalized email from the Inn, to which I replied with some questions/requests. They were quick on getting back to me. We visited during the wild fires in August 2020. The staff from the Inn called me the day before and the day of to keep us informed of the fires and its effect in Healdsburg. I'd highly recommend this Inn and we will certainly be back (especially since we did not get to visit wineries as we planned due to the wild fires)! The Inn is part of Wilson Artisan Wines and you get complimentary tastings for two people at all eleven of their wineries during your stay!!

Gorgeous setting, romantic and luxurious rooms. Breakfast fresh fruit was delicious and the food was made from scratch, very good although the choices were not my cup of tea. It is perfectly located close enough to walk to the bustle of downtown but away enough to be quiet and relaxing! My husband and I loved it so much one morning we just sat in the shade on the porch and read in the summer breeze. A BIG perk is that the owners of this B&B also own several vineyards and they offer you discounted or free wine tasting; which I highly recommend! You won't regret staying here especially for a romantic get away!

All that said, there were a few service touchpoints that felt out of step with a Michelin three-star and #1 La Liste experience. My husband and I were hosting local friends to celebrate a major milestone of theirs. I had pre-ordered and pre-authorized Champagne to be ready on the terrace upon arrival. Instead, we were led to our seats, handed beverage menus, and asked for our order -- I shouldn't have had to remind the restaurant of an arrangement I'd made in advance. Worse, after we'd already taken our first sips, a server tried to top off my glass from another table's bottle of Champagne. These things happen, but it reads as sloppy and unprepared for an establishment of this level. Once we moved into the dining room, things were looking up -- until the wine glasses arrived. Two of the four had to be sent back for a soapy smell. That's simply not acceptable at a three-star establishment. It's a shame these lapses colored the experience this way because at this price point and with these accolades, I expected more. Instead I'm left thinking back to the Charlie Trotter's two stars and wondering what kind of curve Michelin might be using.

One morning they were supposed to serve breakfast burritos, which are not my favorite. I let them know and they served me an alternative which was perfectly adequate and enjoyable. I appreciated that. The Calderwood Inn is very close to downtown Healdsburg, and there is a wonderful walking path that leads you right to town. Easily accessible and quite nice. While we aren't traditional "B&B" types with flowerly and overly feminine designs, we opened our minds up after reading all about the amazing experiences people have had at the Honor Mansion. Upon arrival at the Mansion we were greeted by Lupita, who is the manager of the property. She was extremely professional, extremely welcoming, and made our experience so special. The main Mansion is really lovely and had touches of traditional B&Bs (a parlor, a breakfast room, DVDs to borrow and a fireplace for chatting, rooms upstairs) with a modern, contemporary Victorian style. We stayed in Vineyard Suite #1, which is located in an annex near the main Mansion. The suite was exceptional. From the bedding (I think it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in and I travel for a living) to the bath tubs (TWO, count them TWO tubs - one a soaking tub inside and the other outside is a jacuzzi). A fireplace, big TV (we didn't even use!), wet bar (brandy anyone?), a beautiful huge shower that is big enough for a small family to live in, and a lovely, private back patio (again, jacuzzi tub). They anticipate every amenity and need you may have - and they do a great job at it. Wine was waiting for us in our room, but we instead enjoyed a glass of Dutcher Crossing offered at our welcome with Lupita. They also have appetizers in the evening in the Mansion. We walked downtown to Healdsburg for dinner at Valette, and took a cab back. Tea was delivered to our door in the morning with delicious homemade biscotti. After a relaxing wake up, we wandered to the Mansion for an exceptional breakfast. They have different specials each day - this day it was a Southwestern style omelette with cheddar biscuits (with a hint of jalapeno!). We also nibbled on fresh fruit and pastries. They can bring breakfast to your suite, but we loved the cozy breakfast nook and chatting with the friendly staff. Oh, and I forgot - MIMOSAS! They have the longest list I have ever seen of mimosas! We tried the mimosa of the month - pomegranate. It was high quality sparkling and the flavor was so great. You get two complimentary per guest, so enjoy. We walked the grounds and wished we had more time for bocce and warmer weather for the pool - pool side massage? Yes, please! We loved it so much we bought a gift certificate for my parents. Let's just say - if they don't use it, we will! An exceptional, romantic experience for fans of tradition and fans of the modern.
