My guys on my crew went to try their luck, so me and the one other girl on my crew decided to just come here for dinner. We got seated by a nice staff member and our server was very friendly and answered all our food questions. I decided on one of the flatbreads as did my co-worker. The flatbreads are kinda like pizzas, but shaped more long and not as heavy with the cheese and sauces. She ordered a salad as well. The food came out looking nice and appetizing and tasted good. The flat breads were nice an hot, so no sitting around on the warming tray for too much time. I hate it when food come out cold ... except salads of course. My husband and I had discussed whether to try this restaurant based on reviews. On the positive end of things, the server was prompt and polite when we arrived. After the food was delivered to our table she disappeared. I had to ask a bus boy to get our server to bring us our check. The onion rings were ok, the flatbread was borderline, and the salad I took home and fed to my chickens. Also, I spent all evening in the bathroom after eating their food. Never again! My husband's gut can take almost anything, and he had no issues. I tried chips and salsa which was store bought chips with Tostitos type salsa. Drinks were not anything special. If you're looking for good authentic food I would definitely eat before coming here. We ordered the happy hour jerk chicken skewers and chips & queso dip, a Bahama Mama and Uptown Top Shelf Margarita. The drinks were good but the food was not. We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Overall great experience. It was nice to be served poolside with drinks and food. They're happy hour stuff is actually very good. I was surprised. I wasn't too fond of the burger and their fries aren't very good in my personal opinion. What was really good was the pretzel, chicken quesadilla was excellent and the happy hour appetizers were spot on. Most of the service was excellent, Megan was especially great! We came in late night one very hungry and she greeted us and served us with no issues, she was very friendly and attentive. All of the bartenders that we encountered were also very friendly and attentive, although I can't remember any of their names. I will say on our last night we came in we got sat on the patio and didn't get talked to for 15 min. Then we had a server Who looked a little annoyed that we had came in 30 minutes before they closed..even though we hadn't been spoken to for 15 min. I had to get up and request someone speak to us. (There were other tables outside and we saw the server walk by multiple times. She took our order and then asked if there was anything else that we would've wanted, right then and if she could close us out right away because they were looking to close, even though the kitchen was closing 25 minutes from then. She still served other people coming in, and we felt uncomfortable ordering more food. She rushed to close us out and it just felt like she didn't want us there. We came in for happy hour and Taco Tuesdays on a Tuesday afternoon, but it was no way near happy for us. When our server came, we asked for the happy hour menu which wasn't available. Ordered tacos which wasn't available too (on taco Tuesday? They looked so good on Instagram)! So we settled for margaritas and beers. I had to return my "who's to blame " margarita because it tasted nasty (im guessing it's the straw or the glass. The server asked what I wanted so I went for Dancin red wine (safest choice), which wasn't available as well (I'm seeing a pattern here). Server said wines on the menu were not updated. My friend got the Uptown topshelf, which she said tasted like just like lime juice and no alcohol. Since we were not happy at all but our men still had some beer, we ordered nachos. The nachos were delicious! Unfortunately we werent given silverware or plates. So when the server dropped by asking how was everything, I casually mentioned it would be nice to have some silverware. She just walked off as if not caring what I mentioned. She just casually sat with some people a few tables from us and chatted away. My husband who is usually cool even with bad service went inside, paid for our order and asked for a manager to discuss "room for improvement". The manager was nice enough to listen and give some coupons to get us to try them again but I doubt if I will again. Wow this place was overpriced for the tiny portions. We stayed at the Compass Hotel and decided to get dinner here because we were exhausted after a long drive. BAD IDEA. We got the Margherita Flatbread which was not even remotely close to a thin crust pizza. It was so bland and flavorless and just blahhh. We also got the half BBQ chicken. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly (clearly sous vide did its thing), but was a tiny tiny half chicken with a boring and overly sweet one-dimensional sauce. Also, it comes with a tablespoon of under-seasoned and pre-made coleslaw. Seriously, at those prices, what's with the stingy portions? Chicken and cabbage aren't that expensive. Also, the hotel is dog friendly but the restaurant isn't, or so we were told as our puppy was startled and barked once at the front of house. This is fair but it's weird when the next day we saw multiple tables sitting with their dogs by their feet. The hotel is fantastic, the restaurant is really not. Skip it. read more

I like to bring visitors to rogue valley here ironically. They think, "what?! Margaritaville in Medford? That makes no sense." Yes! And yet, here it is! So it's a fun bar to stop at, take a photo, and drink a margarita or two. The staff is always very friendly, laid back but helpful, and it's family friendly. View is of a pool area in an industrial area of Medford, so...lacking. But the music is good island vibes - I sadly heard no Jimmy over my last two hour visit. I was staying at the hotel and this restaurant is attached to it. I wasn't expecting anything special but the food tasted good! The service was outstanding! The drinks were tasty! This is a nice surprise to the Medford area. After my meal I was able to relax by the fire pit and enjoy a glass of red wine. This restaurant also serves the pool area which is nice. You can rent cabanas and even have pool access for a fee regardless of whether your staying at the hotel. Sounds like they have plans to continue to expand and add more fun things to do. We were traveling through Medford and decided to walk over and try this place. This place has a really cool vibe with new decor and furnishings. Our server Sarah was on it. She greeted us immediately with a friendly smile. She introduced the happy hour and dinner specials and promptly took our order. We ordered one of the specials, the philly cheese steak sandwich. My partner ordered the fish and chips. My $15 burger was raw. Fries were cold and practically uncooked as well. The fish and chips looked anemic. $18 is way too much for what you get. I had to wait for my order to be remade. It was cooked well done and fries were hot but by then I was no longer hungry as my partner had already finished. I took it home. $29 w/tip for basic crap. I've been twice since it opened. The atmosphere is fun, the inside is beautiful and the outdoor seating area is spacious and comfortable. The service both times was good. However, the food was unimpressive. The power bowl was pretty small for the cost and the lettuce was wilty/soggy, and although the description mentions quinoa in the bowl, it is a minuscule amount. Went again today with a friend, she had the bacon cheese burger which she said tasted good but it was so greasy. I had the fish and chips which were ok. The tartar sauce had a bit of spice, which I liked, the fries were pretty standard. The fish and chips was $18 for 3 medium size pieces of fish sitting on top of a handful of fries and a small dish of coleslaw. Friend got a side of coleslaw with her burger, and we both thought it was pretty good. read more

The happy hour is a complete joke. $5.00 for a small bowl of chips that were not refillable and 3/4 of a bowl of cheese dip that we did not get to eat because the chips were all gone. I get more chips out if a bag in the vending machines. Sandwich was dry and super thin. Maybe a slice of meat and one slice of cheese on it. I will never go back, especially if they don't change. Come on. If you are competing with the casino north or south of you and you don't have gaming. I think you food program should be top notch not the bottom of the barrel. I'd rate this new establishment five stars just for the amazing ambience alone. The front desk receptionists are very friendly, and as soon as you walk through the restaurant, you feel as though you've been transported to somewhere other than Medford...somewhere tropical, fun, and relaxing. You can sit indoors or outside near the pool. The servers, for the most part, are very friendly and attentive...I especially liked Carlos and (I believe her name is) Cheyenne. The food is good but not yet consistent. This restaurant is brand new (barely open a couple weeks) so I believe it will take some time to get everyone one the same page, which is understandable (at this point). An example would be the nachos. The first time I ordered them they did not come with guacamole or sour cream. On my second visit they were topped with guac. On my third they were topped with guac AND sour cream. And on my fourth (yes, I actually like the atmosphere AND the nachos this much), it was back to just guac. Also, for some reason the quesadilla my mom order came out very wet and soggy on the bottom. But everything else eaten there has been good. I can't really speak for the drinks as I haven't had an alcoholic beverage there. However, my friend had one she thought was super amazing (I believe it's called Coco Cabana, or something similar-sounding). She just loved it. So I had my mom order the same drink on a different visit. The drink my friend had was a yellow-ish color and tall. My mom's came out a red color and short. Carlos explained the difference is size is due to only allowing the short cups on the patio. He also said there is no difference in the amount of alcohol, that the taller cups just have more mix. However, that doesn't account for the extreme difference in color. So again, I'd say they need to work on their consistency. But that said, I'll still be headed there again real soon. :) read more

We love this place. They have only been open a few months, but we have been many times. The drinks, especially the margaritas, are fantastic. My favorite is the Perfect Margarita, it's clean and crisp without being syrupy. We've tried much of the menu and have enjoyed everything. I'm partial to the flatbreads. Friends have really enjoyed the coconut shrimp. The ambiance is right out of Key West...definitely does not feel like Medford. Carlos was our first server, he was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Service is great. We already have another date planned with friends. read more
