    Lasagna was good.

The GOOD : Great location and service with a decent wine menu. They had live music on the patio and the Fountain Hills fountain was running! We ordered a Charcuterie board for sharing and that was very good. The BAD : We also were having dinner there and we know they did not do their own food, but brought it over from Arrivederci a few doors down who gets great reviews. BE CAREFULL what you order. I decided to splurge and the veal ($30) and did not think about it being a 'to go' order. It was served in a plastic to go container with nothing but the sauce and was Not that tender at all. I think it does Grapeables a disservice to serve certain dishes from there, or should at least make patrons aware of how it is served. My wifes lasagna was good, as that 'traveled' well. We should give them a second chance, but I am not sure........ Unless we ONLY do a Charcuterie board

Really had a great first visit here. Chatted with lots of locals, enjoyed some excellent meatballs, drank almost an entire bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, and found a great bottle of wine to take home.

Cute little spot for some wine, snacks and view of the fountain. Service was pretty quick. Being a wine bar, I would have expected more choices for wine (w/o buying a bottle) or wine flights. I'm not a fan of white wine nor blends so I only had 3 to choose from.

    The bruschetta is delicious.

We sat on the patio and the views were beautiful! We really enjoyed our bottle of Chardonnay. Weird that they charge a $5 corking fee if you order a bottle. Pretty tacky. I have never ever come across this before. The bruschetta was fantastic! I love lots of toppings and I appreciate that it didn't come with meat or dairy. It's served in a plastic to-go container because it comes from the nearby restaurant. We were not given any extra plates though. So my hubby and and I shared out of the container. It got kind of messy and we didn't see our waiter to ask for plates.

He is TSA validated and flies with me often.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was denied service because my service dog was accompanying me and I didn't have "Papers." I explained to them in the US there is no such thing, and anybody showing you paperwork for a service animal is fraudulent or their dog is an ESA and not allowed in restaurants. Traveling abroad is different. My dog is highly trained, small, and fits neatly underneath the table. More often than not, when we leave a restaurant I hear people saying, "There was a dog in here?" Because they didn't even notice he was there, as his job is to be invisible. He is also a non-shedding and hypoallergenic breed so no need to worry about dog allergies. I tried to explain the American disability act to them and their response to me was the owner doesn't allow ANY dogs, in their establishment not even service dogs. This is a blatant violation of American Disability Act. This owner needs to learn the laws. I have reported her business, hopefully they will do better in the future, but for myself, I will choose elsewhere. There are a lot of wine bars out there to choose from. Below is a link to the ADA website in regards to service animals, they can look at that for a start. https://www.ada.gov/topics/service-animals/#:~:text=You%20are%20not%20allowed%20to,certified%20as%20a%20service%20animal

Patio on the lake, fountain, park ~ with full moon rising above Four Peaks to the east.

Enjoyed a fun wine & charcuterie board Sat evening here last weekend, (with option to order from full menu, Italian bistro partner, Arrivederci). Cozy eve sitting outside on their warm patio (heaters for cool winter evenings), plus cozy blankets available, as the live music played, with the fountain lake park surrounding the patio. The owners are caring and hands on ~ ensuring we, and all guests, were well taken care of. I was so impressed with Grapeables that I joined their monthly Wine Club to experience new highlighted vineyards/wines along with the live music one Saturday evening each month.

Prices are a bit high for bottles. $42-$48 each. Glasses of wine are $12 each. We were there for a few hours enjoying the patio and sipping on wine. It was a beautiful Saturday and only 2 other people came in the whole time. The woman pouring our wine was very sweet and friendly. Surprisingly though, she had no knowledge of the wines and said she has never tasted them because she doesn't drink. We asked a couple questions about how long they've been a winery and she couldn't answer any. She even thought the animals that had passed away recently were llamas. I explained to her they were alpacas. I really think if you're going to hire someone you should make sure they are at least somewhat knowledgeable about the business especially since your customers are paying quite a bit. But like I said the wines and the views are wonderful and I absolutely love the dog theme. So that's why I gave 5 stars.

They ran short on some of the items we ordered. Two caprese salads were ordered & one plate had full sized sliced tomatoes and the other plate had half slices of tomatoes. Apparently they ran out & made a point in letting us know as they were being served. We had also ordered drinks. They all arrived but my husband's. After we asked, we were told they didn't have any grapefruit juice to make his drink. I ordered the eggplant dinner but the server returned advising it had sold out. Not sure how that happened since we were the 1st ones in for the evening. Honestly, nothing was close to good. Red sauce on pasta was rough .. tasted like it came right out of a tomato sauce can, pasta was soft. We left disappointed but still enjoyed an evening out with our friends. I don't know what else to say; was this experience a one off night for them? I'm not sure but I do know we won't be going back. It's a shame because it's a lovely venue for weddings & other parties.

Brought us a complimentary glass of bubbly to start the evening and didnt let up on service throughout. Prices are not what you expect from a restaurant of this class, plenty of food. If I, and I will... did it again. Here's what I would suggest to myself. pate de foie gras is so delicate, TX toast overwhelmed it. The table garlic bread was really good... ill ask for more of that toasted Brocolini, cooked more... was very hard to eat. My boyfriend and I recently visited, and even though we aren't big drinkers, we wanted to feel a little bougie and try a wine flight. This place took my breath away. Between the gorgeous lighting and the cozy, romantic atmosphere, it felt purely magical. We chose to sit on the patio, and it felt like stepping into an enchanted garden. We started with the "Pick 3" Bruschetta, opting for the Pear & Gorgonzola (drizzled with local honey) and the Caprese. The Caprese was top-notch, but the Pear & Gorgonzola blew our minds--sweet, crispy toppings on phenomenal bread. For my main, I had the Applewood Smoked Ham and Brie on a brioche bun. It was massive! I ended up taking more than half of it home. The quality was outstanding; they really knocked it out of the park with the flavor balance. We went with the Sparkling Flight, which featured: Chandon Demi-Sec (my fella's absolute favorite--he ended up ordering a full glass!) Chandon Garden Spritz (My personal winner; I had to get a full glass of this) House Prosecco Pascual Toso Brut The service was great. Our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space to just be together. While the service was a bit on the slower side, it perfectly matches the vibe of the bar--there's no rush here. It's a place designed for you to slow down and enjoy the company you're with. The food is amazing, the service rocks, and the atmosphere is beyond perfect.
