Many trips to We Ko Pa, always wanted to try Ember and definitely glad I did last weekend. The delightful Amber at Ember was a fantastic server, very attentive to preferences and allergies. Brought us a complimentary glass of bubbly to start the evening and didnt let up on service throughout. Prices are not what you expect from a restaurant of this class, plenty of food. Our table ordered pate de foie gras Lobster bisque Fillet (best she'd had) Pork belly Largest portion of Sea Bass Lamb chops Veggies, potato and spinach So much good food. If I, and I will... did it again. Here's what I would suggest to myself. pate de foie gras is so delicate, TX toast overwhelmed it. The table garlic bread was really good... ill ask for more of that toasted Brocolini, cooked more... was very hard to eat. But definitely 5 stars Ambience is great, space everywhere around, plenty of room between tables, live music in the bar filled the restaurant. Dishes cleaned away as soon as you were finished. Note, therea a beautiful patio and fireplace outside for the cooler weather. Call them to book, credit card needed and they used OpenTable. We were seated on time. read more

4.5 stars Before a show a girlfriend and I visited Ember We-Ko-Pa on Friday night. We thought the Hamachi crudo, scallops, and bison were outstanding. The special crème brûlée unfortunately was off. It was not advertised as having citrus and it was overpowering. If you are into that, then you probably would have loved the crème brûlée. Service was very attentive and friendly. Also the amuse-bouche was a nice touch. The restaurant is well lit and very open. There was a piano player singing and it provided nice ambiance. read more

We did the Valentine's Day dinner and it was a 10/10. Service was amazing, food was amazing, and we loved the vibe of the place!

I have been here twice now and both times there was not a single "miss." The ambiance is quite upscale but it's within a casino. Definitely not your average place as the service is extraordinary start to finish every time. We were celebrating my birthday so we were greeting with champagne and a sweet birthday card and finished with a lovely dessert. Little surprise starters and incredible selections led to an absolutely divine dinner. The steak INCLUDING the additional wagyu we got was cooked perfectly and every sauce/side paired to perfection. What an absolute dining experience. Went to Ember to celebrate a friend's birthday and had an amazing time. We were seated right a way. Reservations are a good idea. The atmosphere makes you feel special. Drinks are great! And the food delicious from the salads, soups, steaks and beyond. Then there was the most special sweets. Most of all was our waiter Frenchie. We had a mixed experience last night. Our server Ben was excellent. We started with the bread service which was great. We ordered the bison short ribs and a filet plus a side of fried Brussels sprouts. While the short ribs were absolutely wonderful, the steak was medium and the Brussels sprouts were chewy. We discussed those issues with Ben and came to a mutually acceptable conclusion. We've had many satisfactory experiences here and this episode won't keep us from returning. read more

Some of the best steaks we have ever had. The wait staff were very friendly and very attentive. The dining room was nice and we were seated at a private u shaped booth that was perfect for date night. All of the food we had was great. Dinner started with a complimentary small bite and champagne. We split a wedge salad and it was the perfect size to share. Steaks as mentioned were great. Creamed spinach can be skipped. My wife and I frequent at the we -ko-pa Casino once a week go to the buffet and gamble. The buffet was closed. I was dressed in shorts. My wife was dressed casual. We decided to check out the Steak House Ember. I didn't feel comfortable going in because we weren't dressed for it, but the hostess that was very nice sat at the bar with Travis greeted us . From that point everything that went on in this place from the ambience, to the old-fashioned drinks with cold smoke going out to tables and the service we had was fast and very professional. The food was top-notch and upon exiting. I met the Chef and gave him my compliments everyone that works in this place is very professional. this Steakhouse is a little gem in the middle of the desert but you feel like you're in Vegas. Totally upscale don't miss out on this place! Being a former chef, I noticed everything anywhere we go. Liked the ambiance and service...snd location since I live in Fountain Hills, but I didn't think the steaks were all that.

Being a retired French Chef and restaurant owner, dining out for my wife and I is not to avoid cooking at home, it is to experience an all out evening with style, ambience, dressing up, attentive and classy service...an interesting menu, a smart wine selection, a well versed bartender etc....(in relation to the price structure of the establishment of course).....we have been to Embers a number of times and we'll keep going, yet, the same short comings are present each time we dine there; this is meant as a constructive criticism. This was our 58th anniversary. The two ladies at the reception have ZERO class, in the way they dress, the way they don't take care of their hair, the way they greet you, their basic demeanor...this is something you either have in you or that can be taught. It takes them, like 3 people (2 hostesses + dead manager) a good 7 minutes to figure out where to sit you, in a dining room that never filled from 5:30 t0 8pm The "manager" is dead and he does not know it; the personality of a door knob with zero customer skills. The bar cannot make a "pear martini".....really? No dress code?...ok, we're in 2026 in the USA, South West, cowboys prevail...but shorts? not dressy shorts, sport shorts, hiking shorts...joggers type Tshirts.....c'mon! Beyond that, service by "Frenchie" is tops! this server is charismatic, witty, knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic, efficient....the best, and he's the reason we keep going there. Menu could offer more choices, but then again, in this area, steaks prevail, so I understand. Dishes are well presented with adequate accompaniments; I had the beef cheeks (8 on 10) my wife the filet of bison (8 on 10). We started with the foie gras au torchon (10 on 10) and the Asian seasoned Porc Belly (10 on 10). Frenchie selected a glass of white and a glass of red for me, both excellent with my food selection. I hope these remarks reach the management so that they can improve on these shortcomings. In a certain price range, expectations are higher....c'est la vie! read more

What a fantastic dinner! We started with the freshest of bread including an awesome rosemary focaccia bread. The sourdough bread was equally delicious. We shared the Sumaya salad. We had a New Year's Eve prix fixe 4 course meal. Everything was good! The Wagyu was done really well. The service was excellent as well.

Our first time dining here, great experience. Our server was called "Frenchie" and had a fantastic personality! Very attentive to our needs, as well. Party of 4, they started w/meatball app, sauce and cheese vere very good (was told the meatball was, too). 3 in our party had steaks, lobster risotto and mashed potato sides; I had the Seasonal salad w/out pancetta and it was really tasty. The soft goat cheese was great! Side of broccolini with garlic was yum! The bread they serve along w/the butter and chives was awesome, too. We shared a tres leches dessert that had wonderful banana sorbet on the side, perfect after-dinner treat. If I was a meat eater, I'd go back again for my hubby who only gets to enjoy steak 1-2x/year, but the vegetarian choices weren't great. We dined at Ember while at WeKoPa Resort for a conference. The ambience was great with the live piano music in the background setting the mood. Our server, Frenchie, brought us some free champagne and provided exceptional service. I had the bison tenderloin and paired it with whipped potatoes and chipotle roasted cream corn and it was all delicious. I have to say that it was without a doubt the best steak I've ever had. We LOVED this restaurant!! A bit of a splurge, but worth it if you're looking for a truly Special experience that you and your companions won't forget. From a delicious amuse bouche through a fabulous raspberry crème brûlée at the end, every bite and sip (the best espresso martinis) was delectable. A must go to restaurant if you are in the area looking for something special. We make a point to eat here when we come to the valley. The food, particularly the steaks, are some of the best we've had. They have a nice but not overwhelming selection of other dishes as well. There is something for everyone. Service is better than any other in the valley. Our waiter, Frenchy, knows his way around table service and makes sure his customers are taken care of. I saw the other servers working just as hard at their tables as well. The manager touched our table several times during the evening and also made sure everything was up to Ember standards. The bartender is a craftsman and will not disappoint. I strongly suggest the Smoked Manhattan to start with. Are they pricey? Well, you get what you pay for. In this case. It is worth every penny. Living in The Valley for over 20 years, we have visited the majority of well-known restaurants of this caliber. The "PLUS" in our A-PLUS experience was our server, SheriAnne. Based on her recommendation, we got the filet mignon and the bison tenderloin. The bison was by far the best cut of meat that I ever had. From start to finish, it was an extremely enjoyable experience. Plus, you MUST get the Flambeau Tiramisu (it was incredible and a sight to see SheriAnne present it table-side). I was greeted by my waitress Amy who did a great job for what she had control over. I ordered a cocktail to start. The Agave was delicious. However, it took approximately 15 minutes to get it. The complimentary bread was good. For the main course, I ordered a medium rare ribeye and the roasted acorn squash. It took a very long time to get my food, even my waitress said it seemed like a long time. The restaurant wasn't even half full at the time I ordered. When the steak finally arrived, the aroma had my taste buds ready. The steak was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was good and did not need anything extra. The acorn squash was nicely cooked and flavorful. I highly recommend trying it. Overall a great meal, but the pace is the bar and kitchen were going that night was slow. read more

We always take a seat at the bar to be served by Jacob my favorite mixologist. I always ask Jacob to surprise me with whatever cocktail he would like to prepare and it has never been a disappointment. All of the servers are attentive and professional. We have tried several dishes on the menu everything has been great. If you are looking for that perfect steak this is the place! They have signature dishes as well as A la carte. The seafood is fresh and flavorful and the portions are just right. We usually dine here on a Saturday and they have live music which is a great touch. I am not sure if live music is only on certain nights so if you are interested in that I would double check.
