Let's see what had one server who saw the left over plates (from the appetizers) and until I asked him to pick them up in a polite manner he was to walk away. And he was perturbed. Our server decided on how own to split a salad for us. Then we never saw him or anyone else see if we wanted refills. Started strong then fumbled midway through. The final kicker? He dropped the check and then never saw him. I went up to the hostess area where pick up is located and asked if they could check us out. Despite seeing a POS machine which allows them to do that. They didn't. Excuses included we don't know his code, we can't use a code. The idea of checking someone out when they got to bolt and your decision not to, is bad biz. Here is a simple way to solve this. 1. You have a piece of paper next to that pos which lists the servers that day and their codes. 2.. you then see their name, enter their code and close the check. Or you just use the code you have, and check out the customer. After this we decided we are NEVER coming back.

The patio views are beautiful, and the weather made it such a great spot to sit outside in the evening. The live music was a perfect touch...not too loud, so you could still have a conversation comfortably. The owner even walked around and spoke with guests, and both he and his wife were incredibly friendly. You can tell they really take pride in the entertainment they provide and in making sure customers have a great experience. As for the food, it reminded me a lot of the pizza at A Modo Mio Cucina Italiana, which is just a few streets away. If you've had and enjoyed their pizza, you'll likely enjoy Pizzicata as well. I ordered the Jennifer calzone, and it was okay. I would try a calzone again, but with different toppings. I added a meatball for an extra $3, and honestly, it didn't quite hit the spot compared to homemade meatballs. The calzone had a lot of ricotta and not a lot of other ingredients in it, so if you're not a big ricotta fan, this probably isn't the best choice. That said, the ricotta itself had a different flavor than other ricotta I'm used to. The calzone doesn't come with sauce inside, and the side of sauce is pretty small. I was charged $0.50 for an extra... I probably could've used two or three sides of sauce since the calzone had none. That being said, the sauce itself was excellent... very close to the flavor of sauce that my family makes. This sauce really gave the calzone a good Taste, it just needed more! We also tried the mozzarella sticks, and those were good. Overall, the atmosphere is beautiful, the space is a nice size, and the staff is warm and welcoming. It seems like a good place to bring kids, although when we went (Thursday around 6), I didn't see many. The decor is lovely, and the overall vibe makes it a place I'd come back

She was awesome and encouraged us to try the pizza. The pizza was awesome. JC was so nice and so welcoming. The food did not disappoint. It was delicious and the pizza crust was the best we've had in the USA! JC told us that their flour is shipped in from Italy so it's much more healthier and TASTIER than the flour out here. Since it was so good we couldn't wait to bring our kids there. We were greeted immediately by Randy and sat immediately. Randy was an awesome server and our food came out very quickly. She checked on us enough to make sure our food was good and our drinks were always filled. She was very friendly and welcoming as well. Before leaving, we decided to get some gelato and Noah helped us. He was very patient with our chaotic family and gave us good recommendations on the gelato. This place is so cute, very clean, has awesome food, but most especially wonderful customer service. Good representation of Carefree and Cave Creek!!! I can't wait to bring out of towners here.

In an area loaded with many spots for a great meal, Arrivederci on Pinnacle Peak is not going to…read moremake my list. I would summarize my party's visit here as overpriced and a bit amateurish. What they did get right for us was a reservation with an on-time, ready table. I have been to many finer dining spots that have not been able to do that so I do credit them with being ready for my larger, work group coming in for a post-work related meal. There endeth any chance at an above-par experience. I found the menu to be a bit overpriced not only for portion size, but also for presentation and lack of attention to detail. As an example, there were several typos on the menu (a $13 Caprese Salad was listed as a "Carpese Salad" and descriptions of some menu items spell tomato inconsistently (found also as "tomatoe"). I can overlook typos or spelling inconsistencies at casual cafe menu's, but for a spot that is going to easily run north of $65 for a full meal and a glass of wine, it is my belief that attention to details like this matter. The food, while tasting fine, was portioned small for the price and presented with disappointing visual appeal. My main was $28 for a pretty simple pasta. I don't mind markup and I don't mind paying a higher price for a great meal but mine looked a bit unfinished, almost amateurish like it was put together by a high school home econ class. Lastly, the service was really polite but also sub-par for the setting and the prices. The hostess seated us and handed all our menus to me and asked me to pass them down the table to the others in my party instead of individually presenting them to each person. And our server was absent for long periods. We waited so long for dessert menus and eventually a check to be presented to us that it probably added 35 min on to our time in the restaurant. It was an awkward wait for my colleagues and several of them simply left before dessert menus or a check were presented. Because I had to stay at the table to wait for and pay the bill, I was unable to properly say goodbye to some of my guests as they left so that was not a good look for the restaurant in front of my colleagues that I was hosting. While we were provided with basics for a meal (table, food, server, etc.), none of it was all that memorable and none of it was up to the approximately $120/person value standard that I paid for each of my party. To be fair, there was nothing about our experience that was disastrous, but there are many other restaurant choices in the area that have delivered for us in the past at similar price points. Based on that, I know that Arrivederci should do better.

The dirty birdy and whiskey buck were such a hit we had a few. The appetizers we tried were delicious. The seared ahi tasted yummy and the pork belly with its crunchy exterior was gobbled up quick. We then tried the cauliflower and steamed clams. The broth for the clams was so good, we asked for more bread to sop it up. The cauliflower was yummy and everything on the plate was eaten up. The girls were full after that, but I wanted to try the beet salad. Have to say, one of the best I've ever had. Beets, arugula, goat cheese, walnuts (I think) and Orange slices with a tasty vinaigrette. Although the girls were 'full', they saw that and had to try it. Nothing left in that bowl as well. Overall, very pleasantly surprised and will for sure return to try other items on the menu. Service was great btw! My wife and I will certainly be back!

It's always such a great mix for background vibes--Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, Allman Brothers, The Doors, Ethan John, and more. It never disappoints. Their complimentary chips and salsa is always great. We usually get a combo of flour and corn chips, and they're so good. For drinks, we started with the Boss margarita and the jalapeño inferno margarita. Both were good. The Boss is definitely strong and not overly sweet, which we appreciated. My son wanted chocolate milk, and they were happy to make that for him. For food, I ordered the mahi tacos with rice and beans, my daughter got the tequila lime shrimp tacos with rice and beans, and my dad ordered the mole enchiladas, also with rice and beans. I liked my mahi tacos, but I actually preferred my daughter's shrimp tacos--the mahi had a little too much sauce for my taste. My dad enjoyed the mole enchiladas, though he mentioned he would have preferred the mole served simply over shredded chicken instead of as an enchilada, just a personal preference. My son ordered from the kids menu, which has a decent amount of options, including a cheeseburger and chicken fingers for kids who may not be into Mexican food. Our server, Aiden, was fantastic. He was incredibly friendly and attentive. He noticed my son playing a video game on his phone and mentioned that he plays the same game, which immediately made my son think he was the coolest person ever. That small interaction really stood out and helped make the night even better. Between the atmosphere, music, food, and great service, this Jalapeño Inferno location continues to be our favorite, and we'll definitely be back.
