I used to like the food here, but not so much, anymore. With recent takeout meals, I ordered a burger & fries, and a crispy chicken sandwich, with a side of broccoli. I asked for a well done burger, it was pink in the middle, fries were soggy, they forgot my side of broccoli. All this for $54 (I regretted adding a tip to the order after this). Sorry to say, it's overpriced, average food. The food is probably from a GFS, or Sysco food service, that comes in frozen, and is heated up. She worked with us to create a personalized menu and let us take over a corner of their very busy restaurant. Yet another great place I have neglected to review. Life has been busy! We first came here on Super Bowl Sunday this year when we were house hunting. I don't recall what we had then but it was good. We went yesterday for lunch and sat at the bar. We were served by the very sauve and highly entertaining bartender, Javier. Our food was delicious! I had the grilled salmon, expertly grilled, still perfectly moist with a char finish: YUM! The 2 sides I chose were the coleslaw and side salad with blue cheese dressing. Both sides were nicely chilled and on-point good! BTW Javier makes good Bloody Mary's. Hubby highly enjoyed his Patty Melt with Onion Rings. Most entrees include 1-2 sides and they have more than one or two veggies. They have homemade soups that are phenomenal. Love the atmosphere and the staff is always nice . Had the broasted chicken the Ruben and the ny strip steak . The steak was done well and tasty . The Ruben was done just right , the meat was soft af the bread thick and lightly toasted which was better than most because the sandwich did not fall apart as I was eating it. My wife and I came for early Sunday dinner. The place was very busy due to playoff NFL games being played on TV. Our server Linda took our drink orders, and my wife tried a 16oz Wow beer, and I got a 16oz Coors Lite beer. We decided on the Sunday French Dip sandwich for each of us. My bride loves the baked beans so she got them for her side, and I got a dinner salad for my side. My salad came quickly but I had to ask for crackers to go with it. Salad was very fresh and tasty and soon after our French Dips arrived. The sandwiches were very tasty, but were a little soggy (no big deal as we were dipping them into aujus anyway). Dinner was great and service was great, but I was kinda shocked at the price of the French Dips ($21.99 each!). Wow!!! Highly recommend this fun restaurant! I enjoyed the yummy fish tacos and my fiance loved his fish and chips! When we were there we were greeted by a smile from Denise. She immediately took our order. She said their 3rd waitress went home sick she said and she was happy to take our order! I came here for dinner with a bunch of coworkers. They were able to accommodate us pretty quickly despite the number of people. The waitress was attentive and took care of everything, including our separate checks. The food was good. I really enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the Blue Bronc Burger. It was filling. I decided to try the "in-house made" Reuben with salad as the side, and iced tea. Price for the sandwich is $14.99, $18.99, or $23.99, depending on where you look. The Reuben is my favorite sandwich, but this one was nowhere near the top of the list: it was tasteless and the bread was burnt. A Reuben should be a variety of tastes, with the dressing, meat, sauerkraut and cheese. Mine, although claiming to be made "in-house", was bland throughout and at the $23 price point was a disappointment. I've had much better Reubens in FH for much less money. What a cool place walking in. That is where the good ends. I am not quite sure how a restaurant can successfully operate with servers, bartenders and food expos that have zero common courtesy toward their customers. It took 15 mins to take our order. Another 15 mins to get the chips and dip I ordered. When it finally did come the expo spilled the dip all over my phone the table and in my drink. Than didn't even acknowledge it, apologize or clean it up. He just turned around and walked off. When he came back to drop off my salad I said " hey can we get some napkins and a new drink since you poured it all over " he laughed and said ya ok and left. ( did not return. Did not replace my drink. ) I'm not sure how that is acceptable in anyway. The food was very boring for the price I was expecting to come away satisfied and I was not. We love the Saddle Bronc! It's well ran business. The people that work there want to be there and they make you feel welcome. We've never had a bad meal there. My favorite is the walleye! Know one does it better in the valley than the Saddle Bronc. I also love the pork tenderloin sandwich, the John Wayne burger with bacon, chicken fried steak and the prime rib dinner. But the real Rockstar is Elliot! He delivers exceptional service and is a fantastic mixologist! He's personable, smart, funny and makes what he does look easy. This has been our go to place since moving to Fountain Hills. We even went there to celebrate signing the papers on our new house. We go with just the two of us and we've gone with a group of friends several times and we've never been disappointed. We've tried a lot of different things on the menu and I don't know if I can really pinpoint my favorite. Of course, Walleye Wednesday! Just had the blue burger last week and it was fantastic! I also loved the salmon and asparagus salad. It was out of this world and cooked beautifully. Chicken tenders, brisket, quesadilla, and the nachos. Oh and love the broasted chicken. They have incredible side dishes with mashed potatoes and asparagus being my very favorites. Great coleslaw and french fries too. What's not to love? One of my favorite sandwiches is a pork tenderloin sandwich... The usual juicy, tender, sliced tenderloin. What I got here was a totally dry, hard breaded patty that was not worth eating. I believe it was made last week and refrigerated. Barely warm when I received it as a takeout, cold 15 minutes later when I arrived home. The menu I saw said 9.99, I was charged 16 or 17$ When I question the charge, I was told that was from the old proprietors and they were unable to change the information. At least they could've given me a decent sandwich for the money. Probably won't be back. read more

I am a local and I've been coming here for years. They've always been slightly higher priced, but just recently, the raised their prices again. The prices on their menu advertised here are not even close. Cup of soup is now $12.99. I don't think we'll be coming back unfortunately. Good food and fun environment, but the prices are through the roof now for what they offer. I can still go to other restaurants even with inflation the way it is, and can still get more bang for my buck. Food here is great. Servers are outstanding and everybody's friendly.
