I was recommended the Grapeline Wine Tour from the Front Desk agent that checked me in at the Embassy Suites. I can confirm I really enjoyed the tour! The individuals that were on the tour with me made it even more fun. Our tour guide and driver, Tony, was very knowledgable about the area, its history, and wine making. They texted me the night before and the day of the tour reminding about the pick date & time. I really appreciated that they offer transportation. Tony picked me up from the hotel, along with other individuals of the tour, and he also dropped us off at the end of the tour. The drive was really fun because Tony let us take over the aux. He's also very knowledgable about the area, so we learned a lot about Temecula's history and other wineries during the drive. At the end of the tour, Tony even gave us dinner recommendations based on our preferences. Thank you Tony! We visited three different wineries: Wilson Creek Winery, Cougar Vineyard & Winery, and Fazeli Cellars Winery. My favorite winery from the three was Wilson Creek Winery. We tasted 6 wines at Wilson Creek, 5 wines at Cougar, and 6 wines at Fazeli! We had a guided tour by "Motor City Mike" at Wilson Creek. He is an incredible teacher. He gave us a tour around the winery, educated us about viniculture and corks, and taught us about the Wilson's history. They also acknowledged my birthday by giving me a necklace with a cork on it. Such a sweet gesture. We did not have a guided tour at the other two wineries. Lunch was included. While booking on their website, you get to choose which sandwich you'd like. We ate lunch at the Cougar Vineyard & Winery. I chose the roast beef sandwich, and it comes with a side of salad and a brownie. The winery is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The best part is that they're pet-friendly! They even have adoption opportunities, and you can meet the puppies! I completely forgot the names of the wine I tasted, but I thought the wine was okay. Our last stop was at Fazeli Cellars Winery. The structure and outdoor area is very nice. Service is very courteous, attentive, and knowledgable. I thought it was unique because their wine contains interesting ingredients, especially the sweet wines. A friend I met on the tour ordered a flat bread, and we shared it. The flat bread was delicious and paired well with the wine. Highly recommend Grapeline Wine Tours! This was an unforgettable birthday experience. My only critique is that I prefer a guided tour at each winery because I'd like to learn more about its history, their own wine, and their own techniques in wine making.

My sons booked a wine tasting tour for my birthday. I just wanted to give a shout out to our driver and host Mike. He was Amazing very knowledgeable about the wineries we visited, which were 3 . Wilson Creek, Somerset and Cougar. Wilson Creek was our favorite. Thank you Mike for adding that extra touch on my special day. I will be booking more tours with Grapeline Tours .

Celebrated my cousin's birthday on this all day FUN wine tour. We explored 4 wineries all in the Temecula area. Our driver/ tour guide was Tanka. He quickly introduced himself when we were picked up. David was amazing! He was early for pick up and very informative on the tour. He was helpful as well carrying the case of wine on to the bus. He was funny and great at taking the group to photo worthy locations. He took great pictures. He got us back home on time like he said he would. The bus was clean and comfy. Each person is able to plug in a usb cord to charge their phones/accessories. Each person can control their AC. The party can connect their music to the bus. The bus has cubbies for snacks, luggage. Grapevine takes care of the reservations at each winery. Great way to do wine country!

Grapevine Wine Tours is the TRUTH. Omg. I've never experienced a winery, so I was blown away by how well coordinated this experience was. Vaughnmarie was the woman who hosted us. She was such a sweetheart, extremely knowledgeable about the vineyards we were visiting along with the regions their wine varietals were from, gave spot on recommendations and had a surprisingly great playlist. Everyone on our tour was celebrating something: anniversaries, birthdays, friendship, etc so the vibes were superb. We started as strangers and ended as family. I highly recommend booking with Grapeline, especially as a first time tour. Not only will you have a great time with the company you keep/meet, but their wine pours are generous so you'll leave feeling oh so good! I can't wait to come back in the fall to hopefully see the grapes that grew in, maybe taste a few varietals and even do some grape stomping.

I went on my first wine tasting and it was with Grapeline Wine Tours. Long story short, I had an amazing time! The tour guides Amanda and Alex were very hospitable and fun! The wine was amazing of course and toward the end of the tour everyone was dancing having an awesome experience together. I'm definitely going to pick Grapeline next time and going to ask for Amanda and Alex, it was such a fun wine tour and I can't recommend it enough to friends and family.

This is my second time doing the tour and overall I'm pretty disappointed in the experience. Mostly I'm disappointed that we did not get the behind-the-scenes tour and that was what my friends are I were really looking forward to. We were told that due to the heat it was canceled which is understandable, but if they were going to cancel a portion of what we paid for then we should have been told ahead of time. The 4 wineries we went to didn't have anything special that was worth purchasing either and the pourers were just rushing back and forth for two of the wineries so it was difficult to ask questions. If I ever decide to give Grapeline a third chance I do hope they step it up

Yesterday Cindy Steffen, Stephanie Caldera and I took Cathy Duckett-Caldera to the Temecula wineries for a late 70th birthday celebration. It was Cathy's and Stefs first winery experience. We all had a blast The day started out with Grapeline wine tours picking us up at my house. Lizzie was our driver and we had a fun with her all day We've used this company numerous times so they keep track of what wineries we haven't been to. Lunch was included at Cougar winery Temecula has 51 wineries. When i first started going, Temecula only had a hand full It was meant to be as Grapevines first pick was the Truffle Pig Our favorite still is Europia. We wanted Cathy to see it. This vineyard has 3 separate wineries Spanish, Italian and French. So so pretty and their wine is so good!!

I had an excellent experience with Grapeline Wine Tours. The booking was quick and easy online. I think the price for it is perfect. You get a lot for your money. My friends and I went on a tour on May 25, 2025, our group was just perfect, not too small or big. Our driver Randy and our host Amanda were the best. They were amazing, so much fun and professional. Our tour took us to three wineries, got about 4-6 tastings at each. Each winery had great ambiance and food. I will be booking again soon!

THANK YOU GRAPELINE!!!! Tanka was our driver for our FAM tour... "I know Temecula "last week. He was prompt, Funny, kind and very knowledgeable about Temecula. Tanka was very impressive as he assisted all of the people off of the bus and got our group from one side of Temecula to the other side effortlessly. At the last stop, we had a guest that needed to be back to her car 15 minutes earlier than the group , and Tanka heard about it, and ordered an Uber so the Guest was not late for her appointment. The whole day went amazing from beginning to end. Liz and the bus driver were absolutely amazing and fun to be around. Liz was very conversational, made sure everyone felt taken care of. I want to start by saying our Tour Guide Mindy was awesome! There was four of us who had done a tour with Grape Line before so we know what we were missing out on, they recently moved from taking you to 4 winery's to 3 winery's, BIG MISTAKE. It makes the three stops WAY TOO LONG. We stopped at Robert Renzonni which was awesome! Cougar is the staple stop, for your lunch, I understand that, although the wine is subpar. Our final stop was at Palomar Wine, sub par and wayyyyy toooo long at this stop and they cut Wilson's Creek all together. At this point I will be trying a different company when I come back which is a shame, because I've actually done this tour 4 times and recommend it to all our friends. But cutting the fourth winery and making you stay at each stop for so long really affected this experience. I really hope they pivot and add the fourth stop back. Until then, I will not come back, or recommend my friends to this tour. read more

Had another great tour with Mike! One stop at Danza wasnt very good, the wine didn't taste good, but overall, great tour. I would suggest on hot days you cool off the vans with ac before guests get on. It was extremely hot, with no AC, getting between the first wineries. I think the driver forgot there was ac in the back even after being asked, but once it was finally turned on, it was good. Mike is loved by the wineries and they think highly of him, so id recommend him for your tour read more

This bus gave us a very scenic tour of 4 large wineries. Amanda and Alex were down to earth and made the trip so fun! Adored them! The lunch was delicious. It was a great experience and was nice to meet so many kind folks all along the journey! Everything was timed well and there was nothing you had to worry about it! The only thing I will say is you aren't guaranteed the convertible bus. However the bus was super clean and had the most comfortable seats. It looked brand new. It wasn't a huge disappointment to us since we were only on the bus for a very limited time. They have many pick up/drop off spots which makes it very convenient. I recommend for any first timers in Temecula as you really get a feel for the valley. read more

We cannot sing enough praises for this wine tour! We loved every minute of it. We chose it, because it was one of the only ones that offered a personal charcuterie board to enjoy at the second stop. How fortunate was it to be on a tour with 3 other couples with the 3+ kids! It's just not known anymore... we had the BEST time. It was like we were meant to meet organically. Our guide Tony was chockfull of knowledge about Temecula, sharing pearls about wineries and restaurants to enjoy in the neighborhood. We are excited to return again, and perhaps enjoy tours in other local winery areas like Paso Robles or Santa Barbara! 10/10 recommend! read more

We decided to book this tour after our Temecula Wine Trolley Tour was canceled due to the trolley needing maintenance. Our Grapeline wine tour took place on January 4, 2025, and it was the best first-time wine-tasting experience ever! Mike Miles, thank you so much for making my birthday and our engagement celebration that much better! My fiancé and I had never been on a convertible bus, so when we first experienced the beautiful sites along with the Temecula wind in our hair, we were thrilled! Everything about this tour was great! Mike, the tour guide, the people we shared the experience with, the food, Mike's music, and finally the wineries we got to experience. My only sad face was I wanted to visit Wilson Creek Winery because of all the rage about the wine slushies but I still give this tour 5 stars! read more

The actual tour and time at the wineries was great! Mindy our tour guide was extremely funny, kind and attentive. Tonka helped people get off the bus and was a great driver. They both provided water and Mindy personally checked in with everyone at every winery. I knocked off a star because unfortunately we had a very belligerent group of people in our tour that acted obnoxious and was yelling the entire time. Their group was very close to physically fighting a vendor at one of the wineries over something very small in front of the entire group. The aggression and violence we had to witness was not okay, and frankly unneeded. Unfortunately this made my partner and I upset for the rest of the tour. Not the fault of Grapeline at all (and our tour guide was so nice/great to check in with us) but it seems like these customers were repeat customers. My advice to the company is not tolerate that kind of behavior even if they are repeat customers so that everyone else can still have a good time. read more

The staff at our law firm chose this tour for our Holiday Party. It was way better than a boring dinner. We got to enjoy the day together and it ended up being a great team bonding experience. Our guide, Mike, was the best guide we could ask for. He gave us so much useful information from beginning to end. He gave us tips for how to enjoy wine tasting visits and where to go on future trips. We go to see big wineries and small startups. The convertible (topless) bus ride was so cool. Jim was our tour guide. Nice bus thru let you suggest what wineries you want to visit. Wilson Winery was the best out of 3. Calloway was just ok, Maurice Car'rie winery- I would never go back to. Make sure your tour bus has your best interest in mind and takes you to the type of wineries you want to go to! Jim was great! Suggestion he did not give us much history of the vineyards. It would have been nice to hear more. read more

I am now a "member" to Grapeline..I have been on this tour half a dozen times. We have taken family, friends, and business associates. Each and every time we have enjoyed the sun and laughter -along with visiting some great wineries! Our last tour was with Amanda -she was terrific! We had the absolute best time! I'd definitely do it again! Amanda was our tour guide and Christian was our driver. Amanda was super fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about wine and the history of the area. Christian was very friendly and offered us cold water when we got back in the bus. He is such a great driver. We felt very safe. We visited four wineries- Wilson Creek, Cougar, Somerset, and Maurice Carrie. They had such a great attention to detail- we never felt rushed, but they definitely kept the tour moving along. They stored all of our purchases for us, and kept everything super organized. The wineries were all so cool and different. The pace of the day was perfect. Wilson Creek was the perfect place to get started since it is such a fun winery. We at lunch at Cougar. We had a great tour ant Somerset. Maurice Car'rie is very laid back and they had food for purchase. You can't skip the charcuterie board for the their famous sourdough baked Brie if you visit! Thanks again for an amazing trip! We will be back! PS. I forgot to mention that there were four people in our group, but we were staying at two separate hotels. The person that we booked with did a great job of keeping us "together" so that we were on the same reservation even though we had two different pickup points and we paid separately. I don't remember her name, but she was amazing! They cycle through different wineries, so if you call and ask which ones you are visiting, they can let you know the day or two before. read more

Grapeline Wine Tours was amazing from start to finish. Bjorn and George were very welcoming and pleasant to chat with from the very beginning. They gave us plenty of time at the wineries and would check on us periodically to make sure we were doing well. When we had 15 minutes left at each winery, they would kindly remind us how much time we had before having to return to the shuttle. This experience wouldn't have been the same without George and Bjorn. Our group was the party on the bus but George and Bjorn added to the experience with their quick witted charisma. I'm John -- Grapeline's Co-Founder / Chief Wino who works super hard to make sure we offer the best of wine country. I sample scads of different wines. I hang out with winemakers during crush, sampling wines. I spend the day out among the vineyards, sampling wines right from the barrel. I nosh on delicious goodies, while sampling more wines. All for you, because I care. Tough job, right?

typically it is 45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on what activities are included a the winery (lunch, insider tour, etc.). Yes, you can purchase a glass of wine at most wineries, but that varies at each winery.

I've been on this great tour twice and both times I visited different wineries except for one twice. This is a wonderful tour you won't great booking. Cougar wineries was the one I visited on both tours.

Our PM tour came with a charcuterie box for each person. It was done at about 6:15. You probably won't be able to drive depending on how generous the wineries are. One of our stops did 5 practically full glass pours lol

While many of the wineries were dog friendly, I'm not sure a pup could be taken on the bus. I would call Grapeline directly. They answer on the first ring and are very helpful.

I decided to do a wine tasting for my birthday with 2 other guests and drove from LA to Temecula on a Sunday. Arriving to the estate was easy, there's plenty of free parking spots surrounding the winery. It's quite an uphill stroll and some stairs are involved, but you definitely get a workout in. They have a covered patio area of tables that are either reserved or you put your name down to get a table on the left side of the winery, the middle/terrace area is usually used for private parties/events such as a bridal shower or birthday party, where there are 2 outside bars and sometimes they offer live music, the back area of the estate has a grassy area with small vendors selling jewelry and such with picnic style tables (no shade or cover), a gazebo of seating facing in my opinion, the best part of the view, and a separate location for wine club members. The inside is where you do the actual wine tasting experience, and has high bar stool tables and chairs for seating as well. Stepping up to the hostess desk, a man who worked there greeted us and very quickly told us what they offer and then walked away (had nothing to do with the check in desk area, so it was a little confusing). The hostesses had the same spiel to give, and I had mentioned it was our first time and we had absolutely no idea how to even begin a wine tasting experience. The explanations were rushed and basically told us to figure it out. We walked away towards the inside/outside terrace of the winery and were stuck walking around for 5 minutes not knowing where to go. We stopped by one of the outside bars and asked for help, the bartender told us we could start our wine tasting experience inside. Now was that so hard to help us navigate where we're supposed to go and what we're supposed to do? Not everything should be explained on a script, most of the time hospitality and customer service goes a longer distance than formalities. We finally get inside and the women working the front for the tastings were really impersonal and standoffish. We finally start getting a tasting experience going, asked for recommendations and none were received or explained so we just picked random options and had them pour. Throughout the 6 tastings we had, each pour was a different amount, if the bottle they were using was running low, they would pour the last bits of it (barely 2 sips), and hand it over, vs a bottle that was more than full, would get a nice even tasting pour. We eventually wanted to order food, and before we even started the tasting, we asked for a table and the hostess told us it would be over an hour wait. We put our names down, they called us in the middle of our 2/6 tasting, which was less than 20 min. So we went to our table and kept having to go back inside one by one to taste our different wines, as we were at a table now and not just doing the tasting experience inside. Food was great, service at the table was also great. Afterwards we left our table and walked towards the gazebo area and sat down by the view. The most enjoyable part of our day just taking in the atmosphere. On our way out, we wanted to experience a different viewpoint which was the bar area with the stools next to the tables of the "reserved/name down" area. I very nicely asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty seats for just a second to finish our last tasting and take in the view, she told us no those are reserved areas and not just open for anyone to sit at as they please. "Sorryyyy those are reserved spaces" with a smile that was clearly not genuine. We understood, dropped our wine glasses off at the bar, and proceeded to our next destination. All in all, the service here was not great. The entire experience felt absolutely rushed, it was not focused on the wine tasting experience at all, they are more focused on selling tables and getting you to order food. There was no explanations on a quick backstory of the wines we were interested in trying, it was just like "which one do you want" "*point*" poured it, and just told us to enjoy. I didn't enjoy my time here at all, and I won't be back to visit, as there are many many other lowkey wineries that are not as highly reviewed or popular as this one, and they are a much better experience.

My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines. Five Stars for the company, but Six Stars for our Grapeline "Host," Ray. More on Ray later. I treated my visiting parents to a day of wine tasting on The Grapeline, which I didn't really want to do because1) I like wine but not enough to spend a whole day of my life tasting it and 2) I would rather just drive to the wineries and save a little money to buy Bass Ale later. OK, I was completely wrong. First, the only thing I didn't like about spending the day winery-hopping was that it was over so quickly. Why do wineries shut down at 5pm just when you're really getting hooked? Second, the price we paid for what we got was a surprising bargain. The four of us did the Vineyard Picnic Tour, a six-hour day which includes a catered picnic lunch of your choice and wine tasting at four wineries. We paid only $88 per person on a Sunday (it's the same on weekdays but $10 more on Saturdays), which is not much more than we would have spent for the tastings and lunch. Factor in the money the Grapeline discount pass saved us on wine purchases (and some expensive gift shop stuff the ladies just had to have), and I think we may have actually saved money. Now add in the cool extras and special treatment we received either because we were with Grapeline or because Ray is a rockstar out there, and I have to admit the tour I didn't want to do was a remarkable value. Back to Ray... he was funny, attentive, and really "made the day" for my mother who was celebrating her birthday. Ray got on a knee and sang to her (well!) in front of the rest of the shuttle riders, and later had Rosie Wilson from Wilson Creek Winery say happy birthday to my mother and sign a bottle of their famous and outrageously popular Almond Champagne for her (Mom will never open it). We joined groups from other shuttles to eat lunch at Wilson Creek Winery (beautiful creek-side park-like setting) where one of Rosie Wilson's son's emceed our tasting, sharing notes about each wine as well as stories about their family winery. Later in the day, we spoke to some people who had driven themselves and they didn't have nearly as good a day as we did. The DD (you'll need one after a few wineries) was bummed that he had to hold back, they had to wait 1 1/2 hours for a table at a restaurant compared to our catered lunches being served immediately, and they didn't get to see any behind-the-scenes stuff or meet any winery owners like we did. Overall, the wineries we visited, the other people on our shuttle who were instantly easy to get along with, the sunny but cool and breeezy day, and the Grapeline service combined to make one of the more relaxing and fun days I can remember. I'm not sure if our particular day was unusually teriffic, but I'll be trying The Grapeline out again soon to find out. read more

From start to finish, the tour was nothing short of spectacular--thanks to Liz, our exceptional host, and Mali, our wonderful driver. Liz's energy, passion, and knowledge brought the entire experience to life. From historical insights about the vineyard owners to engaging storytelling and spontaneous moments of song and dance, she turned a long day (9:30 a.m. pickup, 10 a.m. start through 5 p.m.) into pure joy. Her warmth and enthusiasm never wavered, and she made everyone feel welcome and celebrated. Mali was equally outstanding--professional, kind, and hospitable throughout the day. Her driving was seamless, and her friendly spirit added to the fun, relaxed atmosphere on the bus. We recently booked a wine tasting tour in Temecula through Grapeline Wine Tours to celebrate our friends Sean and Jessica's upcoming wedding. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Our coordinator, Lori, was fantastic! Her communication throughout the process was excellent, and she accommodated a few special requests with ease. She creatively titled the event, "Sean & Jessica's... Last Fling Before the Rings!" and put together an elegant itinerary that we will all cherish as a memory of this wonderful day. Our group of 4 couples was in great hands with our driver, Mike M. He was punctual, very knowledgeable about the region's wines, and did an excellent job keeping us on schedule throughout the day. We opted for the bus with the convertible top, and with temperatures in the mid-80s and low humidity, it was well worth the cost. Mike thoughtfully closed the top each time we got off the bus so the seats wouldn't get too warm--a very considerate touch. Lunch at Cougar Winery was a delightful surprise. Despite none of us having visited before, the deli on-site served some surprisingly delicious food. The itinerary included stops at Masia de la Vinya Winery and Peltzer Winery. Masia de la Vinya quickly became our favorite stop--the wine there was simply superb. We were also very impressed with how much Peltzer Winery has matured over the years. Gone are the days of the bread and wine pairings, but their wine remains top-notch. Overall, Grapeline Wine Tours, Lori, and Mike M. made this a truly memorable experience. Your Grapeline driver, Amanda, helped make my birthday THE BEST! On 12/22/23, my husband and I booked a driver and vehicle to celebrate my birthday on the actual day visiting various tasting rooms in Temecula. Amanda was waiting for us outside the hotel lobby early (bonus points) wearing a necklace of Christmas lights and a smile! She immediately wished me a happy birthday. My husband and I had a loose plan in mind but were totally open to Amanda's suggestions. She 100% supported our first choice and she walked us in and got us all set up. The people at Wiens knew her and connected us with a fabulous employee for our tasting. They even gave us some discount cards. We ended up becoming members. Amanda took us to our lunch spot, offered to take a bunch of photos of us (at every location), and then suggested two other tasting rooms that were just fantastic! Fun, beautiful, lively, cool, great employees, and tasty wine. We had such a wonderful day with Amanda. We didn't want it to end, but all good things MUST come to an end. She took us back to the hotel and gave me a scrumptious little cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. How did she know that's my all time favorite cake place?!? Booked the Sonoma tour with my fiancé on 12/17/16. The tour van arrived promptly at our hotel (Fairmont Mission) and we were immediately greeted by our driver and amazing tour guide LANCE. The van was clean and the seats were very comfortable. Lance was an entertaining and knowledgable guide. His British accent added even more to his charm. We stopped at Sebastiani, Deerfield, Imagery, and Benzinger. All 4 wineries were excellent and unique. Lunch was included and it came from The Girl and the Fig which was very tasty. Lance provided excellent tidbits about wine making and the region in general on the van drives between wineries in his own entertaining way. He even provided recommendations on places he likes to eat in town. We know he practices what he preaches because on our way out of Sonoma we stopped at one of his recommendations for breakfast and saw him there (Barking Dog Cafe, which had excellent coffee and sandwiches). You really get a lot for your money with this tour as it is a 6 hr event. We stayed in Sonoma for 3 nights and San Francisco for 4 nights and the Grapeline Tour was the highlight of our vacation. Great experience and great tour guide in Lance. Glad we were able to see him again on our way out of Sonoma. read more

Beyond wonderful service beginning to end of our experience! It all started with the operator who took our reservation over the phone. She answered all our questions and was excited to know we were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. I'm sorry I forgot her name but she had a sweet southern accent and personality to match. Then we had the best time with our driver/host Mike Miles! He arrived early to pick us up from our hotel. Mike was extremely informative and witty having done these tours for 21 years! Mike shared lots of knowledge about the Temecula Valley wineries and a quick overview of how to taste wine. He gave great recommendations as to which wines to try at each of the wineries we visited. The picnic lunch that was provided with the tour was delicious. We noticed how nicely our table was set up and my daughter's lunch was adorned with a fun personalized birthday message and lei with a wine cork. It made her feel really special. We found out later that Mike had gone through the extra trouble to set up our table and provide the sweet message and lei for my daughter. I just wanted to give a shout out to Grapeline Wine Tours for such a fun and awesome experience. From the very start Lori, who is the event coordinator, was so easy to work with and help plan the best day for the Bride to be. She set us up with a private van and tour guide and planned our whole day out from top to bottom, with an Itinerary attached. Which included 4 incredible wineries in Temecula!! Everyone at each winery was soo nice and welcoming!! Shout out to Rhett, Jim, Holly, and Michael Angelo!!! But I do have to give it to our driver, Tanka, who made the trip even better than we expected. From letting us jam out to our own music, while screaming it at the top of our lungs, driving us safely from each winery and back home, pulling the top back on the van to make it a convertible, having us hair ties to put our hair up with, since we were cruising with the top down, to getting us this famous Brie that he loves so much, and always having a smile on his face. On January 3rd, my wife and I participated in a wine tour in celebration of our 10th wedding anniversary. As it turned out, we were the only ones signed up that day, something I'm told never happens. I initially was surprised that Grapeline didn't cancel or move the trip as I'm sure that shuttling only us was not profitable for them. Nonetheless, Mike Nordskog showed up with a smile on his face and away we went! Mike was more than good to us. As a newbie to the wine world, Mike took my ignorance and timidity and made me feel like a veteran! His knowledge of wine is incredible but he also made us feel like friends as we discussed life, kids, and our pasts. As we finished our tour, Mike surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a signed copy of a "beginners" wine book that he himself contributed to, all wrapped together in a gift bag and bow! In spite of the trip not being profitable for him or Grapeline, Mike spent his own money on this to ensure we had the most memorable 10th anniversary possible! I have already recommended this trip and Mike to a number of friends and we will be returning. I don't know how anyone could have made this trip better. Thanks! read more

We planned a half-day wine tour for our family and friends the day after our wedding. The majority of our guests are from Los Angeles, so we wanted to have something special for them to do following the big day. We planned our tour with Lori. Lori was great to work with and always answered our questions in a timely manner. We chose the half-day (2:15-6:15) tour. We had three tastings in that time. They will take requests for winery visits, however getting those wineries will depend on the size of your party and what can be accommodated. We requested Callaway and South Coast, both of which we were able to visit. The third was one that we did not know, Falkner, but ended up being very enjoyable as it was closed to the public for our party. The bus they transport you on is nice and cool, and you get control over the music. You can also bring drinks on the bus! Our tour guide was Collin and he was great. He made dinner recommendations, and even called for the reservation for us! He was very fun and upbeat during our trip. We had a great time with Grapeline and would definitely use them again for any wine tasting in South/Central California! read more

Literally every single time I've taken them, the experience has been better than the last. They are by far the kindest people. They don't get caught up in stupid policies and procedures. They treat you like you're family. They go out of their way to try to accommodate every little need. I've never experienced such service in all my years. These are the best people I have ever worked with. They are kind, caring, and thoughtful. Every single person on their staff is awesome at what they do. They always go out of their way to be kind and helpful. Special shout out to Amy. You are just plain awesome. We're so glad that we stole you away from Temecula and got you in Santa Barbara! On August 31, 2024, at 2:15 PM, Liz and Tanka conducted an exceptional tour. They created a lively atmosphere on the bus, demonstrating their personable nature and providing excellent music. Liz ensured we remained hydrated by offering water and shared insightful historical information about each vineyard. They were punctual and effectively maintained our schedule. We particularly enjoyed Mount Palomar Winery, while our appreciation for the other two, Maurice Carrie and Somerset, was somewhat less pronounced, although all were visually stunning. The wines varied in character; we found Mount Palomar's offerings to be smoother, whereas the others were a bit more robust, which ultimately depends on individual preference. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to relax and let someone else handle the driving, allowing us to fully enjoy our day and the wine. Additionally, Maurice Carrier provided a charcuterie board alongside our wine, which was included in our package. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would certainly consider booking again. Went on a tour this Sunday, as kind of last minute plans for Memorial day weekend. (this is my third time touring with Grapeline) Was able to get a reservation. Ended up being a total of 6 people, it was myself, hubby and 2 other couples. It was a real fun group! This was my first time trying the later tour (the one that start at about 2p and goes till about 6p). I liked it! Gave us time to have breakfast and start our day before going wine tasting. Instead of lunch, we got charcuterie boards, tasty and not too, too filling so it didn't weigh us down but also made it so we ate something while we were drinking. Our tour guide was Amanda! She was fantastic! She has a truly warm and fun personality. Was there to help coordinate the fun for the day. Had fun things to talk about on the bus, played great music and made it for another fun wine tasting afternoon/evening. Thank you. Last weekend, the franchise I work for hosted a Wine Tour for our clients through Grapeline Wine Tours. I worked with Lori, who fine-tuned the details and made sure to include the wineries our advisors preferred - a personal touch that was very much appreciated. It was very easy to get a hold of her with any questions we had, and she was very kind and accommodating throughout the entire process. On the day of the event, our host was Randy. He was great, fun, and focused - sometimes abrupt, but that got the ball rolling and made sure everyone stayed on track. Everyone could regroup promptly and move on to the next winery. Randy also inserted himself in the experience and served us on the tour bus, which was above and beyond what he need to do, and we really appreciated that. He truly was wonderful. We would love to have him as a host again. Overall, this was a wonderful experience for our company and for our clients, and this is definitely something we will do again in the future. Living fairly close to the Temecula wineries, we've often taken a Sunday ride to explore them. We decided this time to spend two nights in a local hotel and take advantage of a wine tour, both to see more of them as well as to more enjoy the tastings without having to worry about driving back and whatnot. We decided to go with Grapeline, and can honestly say it was a five out of five experience. Melissa arrived with the shuttle at the front door of our hotel on time and was absolutely fantastic! She was equal parts driver, tour director, teamster, comedian and maître d', with a little bit of mother hen thrown in as well. The wineries selected that day were all first rate, and aside from the wine, have some amazing scenery to take in while relaxing after the wine tastings are complete. I guess the best compliment I can give is that, being fairly close to Temecula aside, we will be going back out with Grapeline Tours again, and will absolutely be requesting a tour with Melissa again as well. read more

From start to finish, our wine tour was incredible and a huge part of that was thanks to our driver David!. Not only was he an expert on the area and the wineries we visited, but he also had such a fun and welcoming personality that made the day even better. He kept the energy high, shared interesting facts without overloading us, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. It was my wife's birthday, and another guests birthday on the tour and David made sure he not only had everyone sing them happy birthday but he made them feel special. His driving was smooth and safe, and he managed to keep us perfectly on schedule without ever making the day feel rushed. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does, and his passion for both wine country and people shone through the entire tour. My girlfriend and I have been going on this tour consistently for 2-3 years now sometimes taking the tour more than once a year and I must say that every time we go we have an absolutely fun day. All the tour guides have something interesting and fun to say or tell us about the area and wineries not to mention events in the area to enhance our experience after we get done with the tour. This last trip with Shell and Lando (driver, and yes I asked him if his last name was Calrissian cuz I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan) was to date our best. Not only did Shell go out of her way to make my girlfriend feel special (yes it was her birthday) but she did so to all the birthday girls and I believe there were 3 all together. She was never without a simile or fun fact about the area or wine in general. Lando was also never without a smile. We have told all our friends and will continue to support the Grapeline Tour, keep up the stellar work!!! read more

This wine tour is so much fun it's become a family tradition! My parents, my sister and do this tour every year, and we always have an amazing time, lots of laughs! It's always a little bit different, you get to check out different wineries, about 5 total. The staff is great, they make it fun by playing music in the shuttle, all the guests seem to be having a great time, you can even drink wine on the shuttle too. This year we did the World of Wine, and that tour was the best one we've done so far! The WOW takes you to 9 wineries... actually 10 unofficially, we sneaked into one more :) We got to taste a variety of wines, eat gourmet food that was paired with the wines, and they even had entertainment / live music at most of the wineries we visited... what more can you ask for!! It's a fun filled day in beautiful wine country, perfect for birthdays, special occasions, or just a family tradition. read more
