My friends and I enjoyed our wine tours to four different wineries. Tony was our host, who was an amazing guide. He's very knowledgeable of the wineries and gave good tips on how to make the most out of our tour. We enjoyed his stories and sense of humor. Mike, our driver, was great too. Made sure we got to each winery safely and listened to good 80s and some trending pop music. Tips: - Sign up with Club Kay and be a member to get some freebies. My friend and I got a free bottle of wine! Also when I signed up, I got a discount. - Bring some snacks and enough water. Hydrate with alkaline water if possible to prevent getting buzzed too quickly. - You can ask your host to play your favorite songs. - Have fun! read more

We've done tours with this company twice and it was great both times. Once was a weekday in the summer, just my bf and I and another couple. The next time was us plus my parents right after Thanksgiving. Lots more people on that tour but the experience was great both times! I wouldn't say one was better or more fun than the other. Would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

We had Mike as our driver and Tony as our tour guide and my group of 6 had so much fun! We had never been to the wineries that they took us to, and Tony was very knowledgeable. Both men were very kind and helpful. We will definitely use this company again! Our favorite winery was Robert Renzoni. Just a tip for anyone wanting to do this: stay hydrated and pace yourself! You don't have to drink everything, especially if you don't like it. read more

Tanka was absolutely amazing! We used Grapeline for my inlaws 50th anniversary. Grapeline was fantastic from the beginning with Lori helping with all the questions, and built a "custom" tour that was perfect for our group. Booked a private wine tour for a bachelorette party. Lizzy was our host and driver she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is knowledgeable, fun, and kind. Our 3 wineries were also awesome. Oak mountain, cougar winery and Wilson creek winery. All had a great vibe, beautiful views and they all had such different wine. Oak mountain winery had a beautiful cave, a great tour, homemade salsa and charcuterie board. Cougar winery had a private table with lunch wine tasting in the barrel room. Wilson creek winery has a great selection of wines, slushy champagne and a nice gift shop. Lizzy made our tour awesome, it would have been different without her. This was a great option for our group of four to travel from San Diego to Temecula! We had roundtrip service door to door from our place to four wineries of our choice in a very nice and spacious Lincoln Navigator. Our driver Bjorn was the best!! He was a great driver and very friendly. Since he is local to Temecula he was able to offer recommendations to make our trip the best. We even met some dinos along the way! I'm not even sure how we came across this tourline but they were great! Our driver Jim was super friendly and informative the entire tour and offered up nice little bits of additional information for the wineries we visited. We live down in San Diego and have our favorite spots we typically visit but decided it would be fun to try a tour. It allowed us to try new spots and mingle with other guests. Best part though of course is not having to drive and being shuttled from place to place. We never felt rushed and the transportation was very nice and high end. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to give it a try. read more

Couldn't of asked for a better experience. Our crew driver Joaquin and tour guide Sadie were amazing!! Beautiful wineries, Doffo, Cougar, Somerset and Wilson's Creek. All were amazing!! The lunch was delicious too and the whole experience was perfect a good amount of time at each winery at least 1 hour or more to drink, enjoy and experience. The price you pay to be able to be picked up dropped off and experience ALOT of drinking with great customer service and meeting new fun people- seriously the best and next time we're in Temecula we are coming back! read more

Oh my goodness we had an amazing time with Amanda yesterday. My best friend surprised me for an early 50th birthday celebration. Amanda picked us up in style. She knew exactly where we going and knew everything about the wineries I had chosen. She even escorted us in the first one and assisted in setting up a guided tour, which was the best. Booked this trip during our 10th wedding anniversary trip to Temecula. Had never done this type of tour before and had a great experience. Our tour guide Carlos made the tour personable and great, he was very attentive to our needs and made sure the group was taken care of. Carlos' knowledge of the area and the wineries made this trip stand apart from the others. We had Mindy (our tour guide) and Jim (our driver) who safely got us to our destinations. Directions and instructions were in full detail. We were greeted to get on the bus by Mindy with a smile and a bolt of energy. The bus was clean and blowing a cool breeze of A/C. Hallelujah! Mindy was bubbly and full of excitement. A Temecula local with lots of recommendations and knowledge of the area. She gave us great heads up to each winery as well as her personal favorites. She guided us and gave us all a heads up on time of where to be and when to leave without being overbearing or hovering. A true delight. I attended the Classic Wine Adventure at 2:15-6:45pm with 3 wine stops: Mount Palomar Winery, South Coast Winery & Resort and Somerset Winery. Meet the Business Owner: John K.

I'm John -- Grapeline's Co-Founder / Chief Wino who works super hard to make sure we offer the best of wine country. I sample scads of different wines. I hang out with winemakers during crush, sampling wines. I spend the day out among the vineyards, sampling wines right from the barrel. I nosh on delicious goodies, while sampling more wines. All for you, because I care. Tough job, right?

How long do you get at each winery and after the tasting can you purchase a glass of wine or lunch?

typically it is 45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on what activities are included a the winery (lunch, insider tour, etc.). Yes, you can purchase a glass of wine at most wineries, but that varies at each winery.

What wineries participate in the tastings?

I've been on this great tour twice and both times I visited different wineries except for one twice. This is a wonderful tour you won't great booking. Cougar wineries was the one I visited on both tours.

If I have a PM Tour starting at 2:30.. what time will it be done? Do they serve food? How much will you be consuming? Will I be able to drive he after?

Our PM tour came with a charcuterie box for each person. It was done at about 6:15. You probably won't be able to drive depending on how generous the wineries are. One of our stops did 5 practically full glass pours lol

Will you pick up at our Airbnb?

As long as the address is in Temecula, they'll pick you up and drop you off, just provide them with the address as soon as you can. Have so much fun, it's a blast!

Are dogs allowed on the tours?

While many of the wineries were dog friendly, I'm not sure a pup could be taken on the bus. I would call Grapeline directly. They answer on the first ring and are very helpful.

Can you park your Travel Trailer overnight while winetesting?

How do they respect the new COVID guidelines in the shuttle? Are less people allowed in the shuttle to allow the proper social distancing?

Yes. In a shuttle which usually would accommodate 50 passengers, we were spaced out from other parties and the shuttle took 10 of us. Masks are mandatory the whole time and our host made sure he was available to answer any questions or concerns.… Read more

I decided to do a wine tasting for my birthday with 2 other guests and drove from LA to Temecula on a Sunday. Arriving to the estate was easy, there's plenty of free parking spots surrounding the winery. It's quite an uphill stroll and some stairs are involved, but you definitely get a workout in. They have a covered patio area of tables that are either reserved or you put your name down to get a table on the left side of the winery, the middle/terrace area is usually used for private parties/events such as a bridal shower or birthday party, where there are 2 outside bars and sometimes they offer live music, the back area of the estate has a grassy area with small vendors selling jewelry and such with picnic style tables (no shade or cover), a gazebo of seating facing in my opinion, the best part of the view, and a separate location for wine club members. The inside is where you do the actual wine tasting experience, and has high bar stool tables and chairs for seating as well. Stepping up to the hostess desk, a man who worked there greeted us and very quickly told us what they offer and then walked away (had nothing to do with the check in desk area, so it was a little confusing). The hostesses had the same spiel to give, and I had mentioned it was our first time and we had absolutely no idea how to even begin a wine tasting experience. The explanations were rushed and basically told us to figure it out. We walked away towards the inside/outside terrace of the winery and were stuck walking around for 5 minutes not knowing where to go. We stopped by one of the outside bars and asked for help, the bartender told us we could start our wine tasting experience inside. Now was that so hard to help us navigate where we're supposed to go and what we're supposed to do? Not everything should be explained on a script, most of the time hospitality and customer service goes a longer distance than formalities. We finally get inside and the women working the front for the tastings were really impersonal and standoffish. We finally start getting a tasting experience going, asked for recommendations and none were received or explained so we just picked random options and had them pour. Throughout the 6 tastings we had, each pour was a different amount, if the bottle they were using was running low, they would pour the last bits of it (barely 2 sips), and hand it over, vs a bottle that was more than full, would get a nice even tasting pour. We eventually wanted to order food, and before we even started the tasting, we asked for a table and the hostess told us it would be over an hour wait. We put our names down, they called us in the middle of our 2/6 tasting, which was less than 20 min. So we went to our table and kept having to go back inside one by one to taste our different wines, as we were at a table now and not just doing the tasting experience inside. Food was great, service at the table was also great. Afterwards we left our table and walked towards the gazebo area and sat down by the view. The most enjoyable part of our day just taking in the atmosphere. On our way out, we wanted to experience a different viewpoint which was the bar area with the stools next to the tables of the "reserved/name down" area. I very nicely asked the hostess if we could sit in the empty seats for just a second to finish our last tasting and take in the view, she told us no those are reserved areas and not just open for anyone to sit at as they please. "Sorryyyy those are reserved spaces" with a smile that was clearly not genuine. We understood, dropped our wine glasses off at the bar, and proceeded to our next destination. All in all, the service here was not great. The entire experience felt absolutely rushed, it was not focused on the wine tasting experience at all, they are more focused on selling tables and getting you to order food. There was no explanations on a quick backstory of the wines we were interested in trying, it was just like "which one do you want" "*point*" poured it, and just told us to enjoy. I didn't enjoy my time here at all, and I won't be back to visit, as there are many many other lowkey wineries that are not as highly reviewed or popular as this one, and they are a much better experience.

I could not have asked for a better team to spend my wine tour with. Liz was funny, out-going, and always available to take a picture for you. We went to three wineries and each one had something special to offer. The lunch we had was exquisite. The brownie pairing with wine was amazing!!! My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines. I had a memorable experience and I am looking forward to seeing them again.
