I guess that owning Acuras has spoiled me. Sunnyside Acura in Nashua always washes and vacuums your car, even for the slightest of services. They also have free snacks, water, yogurt and various drinks. Grappone Toyota charges for water and yogurt and has vending machines for snacks. My car was just pulled in, worked on and backed out....nothing extra or special and even had hand prints all over the tires and side of it. I'll go back but only because it's handy to have my Toyota serviced. I believe they are making enough money to make those that are spending the money there feel like they are more than just a customer. It would be nice to at least feel like I got a little something extra. read more

I got the car I wanted, however,I have been dissatisfied with Grappone Service. I have put on over 30,000 miles in 9 months which I told them when I purchased the car that I drive a lot. Not even a year into the purchase, I am left with no courtesy service (like a simple oil change which only occurs every 10,000 miles)! Apparently there is another plan you can purchase to cover your vehicle after their Toyota Care program runs out but they failed to mention this when I bought the car. All these charges add up. I spent a lot of money to buy the car and they are looking to milk me for everything they can. Additionally, there was a recall on the software in my vehicle. They were very reluctant to tell me what the recall was or what it affected. As a consumer, I have a right to know. I wanted the comfort of knowing that my dealership was more concerned about my safety and not about seemingly covering up a recall. After my husband took the afternoon off from work (because they can only address these issues during the working day), he brought the car down to have the software updated. They came out and told my husband that their systems went down and they were unable to get them back up and running. He left without the software update. I called to reschedule and expected that since this is a factory recall and they had inconvenienced us the first time, they would cover a loaner car. Wrong. Perhaps I was spoiled by AutoServe of Tilton. Never should have switched dealerships. I don't normally write these reviews but my experience at Grappone has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I felt that other consumers should be aware. read more

I hope the sales staff has more going for it than the service department. Parked in the lot and walked into the office. Female service associate sitting there eating breakfast with her fingers while talking to a customer on the phone. Male standing behind her didn't acknowledge us. Three others sitting there on phones, with full breakfasts in front of them, never looked up. Maybe they should eat BEFORE work? We walked into drive in bay area, waited a while to be greeted, had to get out to find someone and were told to drive car into this area. Nothing about our visit said "we value you, we are trying to impress you, how can we help you". Not at all impressed. read more

Worst dealership I've ever stepped in. Right from the start they let you know they "don't negotiate" and then give you the worst price in the entire area on whatever vehicle you're looking at, and even if you're willing to play ball regardless for the sake of travel time they still keep playing with the numbers in finance before you even start signing. I watched the salesman have me at $360 once and it was just continuously adjusted into the 400's and they wouldn't even tell me why. Then when finance (Ricky Ryan) got involved it kept getting worse and their only argument was "I told you we don't negotiate here". It's all lies and awful prices and rude remarks. This is the last time I'd ever try buying a car there and wouldn't recommend anyone else try. Absolutely terrible. read more

It all started in 2009 when I bought my Tacoma. The salesman didn't offer options that I would have purchased had be told me about them. When I picked the vehicle up he didn't know how to open the gas cap door even. When it was brought in for it's first oil change I requested Mobil 1 be used. When I picked the truck up and asked if that was done he said yes that he saw them use it. Later when I got home and read the repair order it said regular oil had been used instead. I got the run around on this when I called until finally they fessed up and admitted the mistake. Bottom line is he lied to me! A few years later when it came in for an oil change they used semi-synthetic oil (never knew there was such a thing) but was told it's used in colder months which had never been done in the previous 7 years. The final straw was just recently when it came in for a major service I asked that a skid plate be installed. Instead they install a rock shield as they called it. After explaining that wasn't what I wanted I was told it's required underneath the skid plate. This didn't sound right so I contacted two other Toyota dealers and was told it's not required, So, I had to bring it back and get the skid plate added and ended up paying $200 extra for something not necessary. Then when I came to pick the truck up they couldn't find the keys. Good thing I left them with my spare set and brought the one I use with me. I must be nuts to keep going back!!!!!!! read more

This review is in reference to their Service Department. (I have bought 2 vehicles from them, 1 new & 1 used, and was very satisfied with both sales transactions.) I recently took my Scion in for its annual inspection & was told that I needed exhaust work. The estimate was $1,600. I took the vehicle to Midas. They confirmed the problem, and FIXED it, for $144 !!! The Midas solution was to replace only the portion of the assembly that was impacted, as opposed to Grappone's solution, which was to remove the entire lenghty assembly. Grappone never offered or suggested this alternative to me. The end result is that I saved over $1,200 (& passed my inspection) by taking my service needs elsewhere. The facility is very nice, the people are very pleasant, but I doubt I'll be visiting them again. read more

DO NOT buy a car from this car dealership. I bought a 2010 Audi A4 about one month ago. I was starting having issues within first month. The car has oil consumption issue which i did not know about or they never mention it. They provide me 3 month warranty or 3 thousand miles but it only covers 1000$ work and labor anything up to $1000 dollar, you have to pay out of your packet. I called Audi for oil consumption issue to get an estimate to fix it, it is gonna cost me more than 4K to repair oil consumption problem. My problem is that with this car dealership, they are selling broken cars and has many issues but they hiding form you. STAY AWAY from this car dealership and DO Not buy any cars from them. read more

Service was ok. I lost my keys, no spare. I stated I needed two keys and the remote fob. When they called me to let me know car was ready, t heservice guy said my battery was bad and I needed a new one. They could put one in for $138. I told him that was not needed (car was ok when it was dropped off). When I went to pick up car, which they also had to reprogram, they only gave me 2 keys, no remote fob. I asked where it was and they said it would be an additional $110 for the remote fob, which they had to order. Picked up my car, absolutely, nothing wrong with battery. So after paying $178, I left very disappointed in their service. I bought my car from this Grappone. P.S. You can get a remote key fob online for approx. $30, works great! Easy to program to your "chip" key. read more

Awful, awful, awful. Stay as far away from Grappone Toyota as possible. They are a bunch of scheisters. My 65 year old mother was given the run around 3 different times. First salesperson let her take a car home overnight that she'd test driven. Problem? It was the wrong car. It was $2000 more than the car she was looking at. The next sales person told her to come look at a car and when she got there, it was mysteriously sold. Third trip, they mis-advertised the price of a 2012 toyota corolla and then refused to honor the price. Even after talking to a part-owner (Amanda) they still refused to help. They asked herr budget and then showed her a car that was almost $1,000 over that. Finally, the car she wanted was marked down two days later, they wouldn't let her put a deposit it on it over the phone, then when she got there, it was mysteriously sold, again. The NH A.G.'s office will be hearing from her. They have pulled a bait and switch with her three times. Update: 5/31/13. The car that they "sold" two different times on two different dates is still listed on buyatoyota.com as well as their website....so if it sold twice in the last two weeks, why is it still listed for sale? BAIT and SWITCH. ILLEGAL business practice. Update (very late) 5/14: As you can see from the owner's response below, they have nothing to say. What a joke. We ended up buying a much better priced same model/year Toyota from Ernie Boch. Happy with our Boch experience. No run around, straight forward, better price. All around better deal. Thanks Grappone! After all, it is sometimes more important how the service department treats you than the sales force. I took my car in to have it serviced and walked out with a new car that day. It was that easy. I had given some thought about buying a car but I did bring it in for service that day. It was literally one of the best car buying experiences I've had. I felt that I got a very fair deal on both sides, which usually isn't the case at other dealerships. I purchased the pre-paid maintenance plan and I'm thrilled with it. The service department, in my opinion, is top notch. I'm very religious about getting maintenance done and they get me in and out usually so quick it amazes me. A dealership with a difference! While anyone can sell you a car, it takes a team to create the experience in which you drive away knowing that if anything happens to your vehicle, they are there for you. More importantly, the whole process should be fluent, selection, options, service. All in one. A great salesperson doesn't sell, they listen. I've frequented Grappone Toyota on several occasions while considering a new vehicle. I remember when my 1999 Solara died....with 491,300 miles on it and the salesman wanted me to consider a Yaris. I'd rather drive a Chevy Aveo and install bike pedals to make it go uphill. Clearly he wasn't considering what I was used to, or interested in. So, I purchased a vehicle on Ebay instead. Flash forward six years and I'm again driving another tired Solara - this one with 370,000 miles and still going - but, it is time for something a little newer. Over the years, I realized I really liked the Venza and was determined that a Venza would be my next car. I went to Grappone and asked a salesperson (no longer there) that if they got one in to call me as I wanted to drive it. I got a call a few weeks later and when I went to drive the car, that particular salesperson was elsewhere and their team-mate took a hand written note and said "I'll give it to them". I never heard back. Flash forward three weeks and I'm searching online again for my new Venza and alas - Grappone has several in stock. And I still have no call. Stopped in to the dealership, met a nice salesperson and I wanted to come back and drive a car, but never made it until three days later. I came into the dealership that three days later and met Cortney Cox. Who didn't want to sell me a car, but instead, listened to what I wanted and needed to do. She went along for the ride. Literally. Never questioned why I wanted one model over the other. Just listened. I made a deposit and for the next three days - we communicated extensively about making arrangements to pick up the vehicle in a time period that would fit my crazy schedule. Any one can sell you a car, it takes a whole different person to create an experience. If this is what Grappone's aim is, then Cortney nailed it. I'd love to think that if I came back in many years that she'd still be here. The sad truth is, if she moved on and sold rat skulls, I'd become a collector. read more

Awful - & will not return. Have an older 95 Camry that I said should be "fine" as I had checked over everything myself in conjunction w/a mechanic friend. A "newbie" mechanic found that there was a little play (1/2") in the rear tail lights, despite the fact that they were still bolted to the side of the car. He also said that I had a loose rear wheel bearing. Car failed inspection; I had trouble w/both issues. Took it to another garage and they laughed at the play in the tailight assembly as a reason for failure. And as for the loose wheel bearing - like I thought - it was not a bearing but a "bushing" whose play was more then allowable & well under any reasonable limit. It passed NO problem. Working toward my tenth new car buying experience over the past twenty plus years, I had looked online at a few dealerships that were closer to my home looking for a vehicle that fit my needs and budget. My husband had heard from a coworker about Grappone and suggested I look at their selection. I found exactly what I wanted and called ahead to make sure my desired vehicle was still in stock. The pleasant young lady on the phone named Samantha quickly located the vehicle and pulled the keys out for when I was set to arrive a short time later for a test drive. When I walked in, I was greeted by Sarah. She was all smiles and genuinely happy to help me. She directed me to my sales person, Mike Roy. He was very understanding of my wish to purchase a specific vehicle and quickly took the necessary steps to make that possible by allowing me to test drive it. When my husband arrived, we continued the sales process by evaluating our trade in. We were given a great trade in price for our current vehicle, which made me even more happy about purchasing a new vehicle. The whole process was the best, by far, that I've ever experienced. There was no office shuffling, we stayed at the same desk through the whole process. Mike was great from beginning to end and made sure we were shown how to use certain features of our new vehicle before we left. He also sent me an email first thing this morning thanking me for my business an assured me that he was only a phone call or email away and was happy to help us in any way possible, should we have any questions or concerns about our new vehicle. He called me as well today to confirm my appointment for Monday to have my automatic car starter installed. I have already referred a family member and close friend who wish to purchase new vehicles to Mike. He is truly there looking out for customer's desires and not there just to make another sale. read more

I bought my new Prius from Grappone after the demise of my last Prius (with 250,000 miles). One thing I like about them is their check-in system, when they introduce you to the peson who will handle the transaction after service. There is no sense of "I'm just a number" at Grappone. I was only in for a routine 10,000 mile check up with no repairs necessary, but if there is service needed, the service technician will explain what needs to be done and discuss options intelligenty with you. The only shortcoming, if you could call it that is they often have Fox "News" playing in the waiting area, but fortunately there are ample places where you can work on a laptop elsewhere while you wait. Or they have a very good courier service that will take you to work within the Concord area. Unlike one of the other reviewers I read here, my car was vacuumed out after the routine service appointment. read more

Service Department: brought my now collectable Florida Rust Free FJ Cruiser in for Oil change, they noticed it may have a leak in Transfer case, told to bring back in 500 miles. Did that, yes leaking.. They ordered parts, brought it back. Fixed, walked around car everything looked ok. Did not look up. My spouse followed me, we got on highway. Noticed something weird about FJ told me to pull over at an exit. Roof Was damaged like someone stepped, knee on it, in another place and even has footprint. There are silver paint scrape marks on the roof rack, hmmm their service doors are silver. Wonder if the service door came down and stuck. Also missing on my FJ are all my skid plates under the car. WTH. I looked at the mechanic paperwork, he took an 11 mile test drive. REALLY. Where did he go with my car? There are a few other thing now wrong with my car that were not before we dropped it off at Grappone. Amanda you are not taking responsibility for this one and leaving this in My lap. One of Your Employees Damaged My Property, and You know by your security cameras that my vehicle was in Perfect shape when it came through your doors! Make this right and stand by your family motto! i bought a 2016 tacoma from a dealer in the lakes region and all was good until i signed on the line and it went to hell after that. i started having transmission problems (this is a known problem) i called the service dept. to have them look at it while i was having my 5000 mi.service witch includes checking all fluids. so i told them i wanted them to check the trans. fluid they told me they did and it was FINE. little did they know i marked the trans. so i would know if they did the work,guess what they lied to me,after fighting with them for weeks i gave up and called grappone toyota and they were very helpful right from the start.it was the best experience i have had in a long time.(anyone can sell a car it's the service that counts) they checked my trans. and it was 1 and 1/4 qts.low they also checked and filled the front and rear diffs.and greased the zerks reset the computer,the whole ball of wax. and they gave me updates through the whole process, they even gave me 3 ten dollar duncan gift cards. thank you correy the tech and steve service manager and to the others who's names are slipping me right now. you have got a new customer for life now and i will see you next summer when i buy my next truck. read more
