Today's drinks were the Mango Green Tea and Strawberry Banana Smoothie. We also picked up a Mochi Egg Tart 2-pack to share. I have to remove a star for repeating issues with mobile orders. My order is often not ready when I arrive, at the designated time. This happened again today. I had to ask a team member about my order, who then checked for it in their system, then told me it will be out in a couple minutes. This gets frustrating during busy times. Our visits are typically in the late afternoons/early evenings. Pastry selections get quite scarce a couple hours before closing. The seating outside is dirty and sticky. The trash can is always overflowing.

It is sweet, cute, bright and whimsical. The Loaf Bakery is produced by Okayama Kobo, a bakery chain founded by Tsunetaka Kawakami, that is open in Anaheim, DTLA, Honolulu and Laguna Niguel. The Loaf has the same quality of baked good, made with flour from Hokkaido, Japan, having no additives or preservatives. It is recommended that you eat it the day of since it has a shelf life of a couple of days. Talk about freshness! I recently visited my sister and her family and she had a box to share with me. We had the following: Red Bean Salt & Butter Roll: Simple and delicious. Highly recommend, especially to those who like red bean filling. Not to sweet (a high compliment given by Asians when talking about desserts.) Chocolate Emoji: Soft bun with custard inside Amande: Croissant with a cookie topping, topped with chocolate chips.
