I have delta ppo so when you visit a ppo provider the dentist agrees to accept an amount that may be less then what is billed and copay calculated before insurance pays. The difference was never adjusted and my question was ignored several times when inquiring. Finally after saying I would contact delta dental professional services Meghan told me they would cut me a check and wasn't sure where the misunderstanding happened. Im sorry you dont just cut someone a $400 check if they aren't understanding billing, you would explain to them. If you have a ppo insurance definitely check your insurance statements vs what you are billed after services provided. Also one time I was blindsided by getting a $500 bill from the office in the mail. Meghan said waiting on insurance payment to ignore it and that she submitted several times, that insurance play games that she's been doing this for 20 years... I called delta dental they said they hadn't received needed documentation and after I sent a text to the office with an email to submit suddenly delta dental paid with in 5 days so Meghan is the one who was playing games. There were a few times where Meghan wasn't honest but plays it off as she knows her sh*t. Unfortunately because of billing/ insurance issues I said I would not longer be going there after finding a dentist i felt comfortable with.

He is a talented, gentle and patient dentist. All of the work he has done has been perfect. Also he has been there for me with very painful emergencies on a few occasions. Best of all if you are afraid of the dentist this is the place for you. They have offer headphones for the mild anxiety folks and if you have severe dental anxiety they offer nitrous oxide. The front office is really organized and kind. The online system is so great for reminders and updates. They offer general dentistry ,implants and cosmetic. The dental hygienists are very good. Then we received a email that they cancelled all of my family's appointments in the future. I called , apologized. And I was to get a call back in the afternoon by the mean secretary. No call. They just emailed my ex wife her records. I called to get my records and was told they would call the police. After contacting my attorney, this is illegal. And further action will be taken. This is a great dentist. The Dr herself is caring, and really cares about each and every patient. We as a family are sad we have to go look for another DR due to an mis understanding between the DRs staff and I. I really wish I could speak to the DR personally? Buckle up friends, for this tale of pain and suffering at the hands of this terrible practice. I…read morechose Dr. Murolo as my dentist after moving to this area in Fall 2024, and even though I had no pain or problems with my teeth he told me that I have 4 fillings that are old and need to be replaced. So I do, but now two of the fillings that he replaced hurt anytime I eat. It is extremely frustrating to have had no problems with your teeth, and then you go see the dentist and all of a sudden your teeth start hurting. He says the bite needs to be adjusted, and so I get the bite adjusted . . . 4 different times. Each time it takes more than a week to get an appointment for a 5 minute procedure. Also the pain is getting better with each adjustment but it's not disappearing. So finally it's decided that the fillings need to be re-done, and it takes almost a month to get an appointment for this. (Seriously - I messaged them on 12/17 and their earliest appointment was 1/14). Then when I get there they claim that I was late and they can't see me for another two weeks. Also at this point the pain has gotten much worse for some reason - my teeth are now constantly hurting and food is getting stuck in between the two fillings every time I eat. It is literal agony but they will not give me an appointment. I can't stand the pain anymore and find another dental practice whose angel of a dentist agrees to see me for an emergency appointment the next day. When I get there they discover that the fillings that Dr. Murolo did BROKE after only three months and bacteria had entered the site. That's why the pain had become so severe all of a sudden. It's so bad that the new dentist re-does my fillings on the spot, but it costs me $300+ because my insurance will not cover a re-do so soon on the fillings. I am so happy to be pain-free now but had a terrible experience with this practice and would not recommend them. Impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner and like I mentioned, fillings broke after only three months, which I can't believe is even possible. Last of all front desk was terribly unprofessional and kept sending us $500+ bills and claiming my husband did not have insurance . . . ma'am, you spelled his last name wrong, that's why you couldn't find him in the insurance system. Told her this and she just giggled and blamed it on "multitasking." There are so many great dentists out there (including the new one I randomly found while desperately searching for an emergency appointment) that you should not waste your time with this practice.
