We had such a great time that I forgot to take pictures! We had a quick in and out stay but really enjoyed our time. The room was really clean and had a lot of space to organize your stuff. The hammock over the bed was a fun touch! We didn't get to experience the shared spaces much as we got in late and left early but they looked awesome! Bummed the cafe didn't open early enough for us to grab breakfast. 6 minute drive to the beach from here! Next time we're in the area we'll be back here and plan for a longer stay! read more

Unfortunately, our room was right next to the construction area, which ruined the feel of the place. The parking area was narrow and tight and had several potholes. After checking out the hotel and the surrounding area, we decided not to stay the night. As visitors from out of town, we were surprised to find that Westport is more run down than we expected. Came out to the LOGE Westport (known as the surfing basecamp for some of the best cold water surfing on the West coast) to enjoy an outdoor concert. My friend's band was performing at the LOGE Amphitheater located at the back of the property. It's a great venue with an open grassy area for your lawn chairs and blankets. In typical PNW fashion, the mild day turned misty then drizzly as the evening passed on, so be sure to come prepared for weather that can change quickly along this part of Washington's coast. There are real restroom facilities just a short walk away which is a great upgrade from most outdoor music venues that rely on the portable Honey Bucket situations. Parking is essentially wherever you can find it, but pay attention to not block anyone's way in and out. Overall, a great place to enjoy live music and if you're looking for a place to camp out, the covered tent sites look like a fantastic way to stay dry (if you've ever packed out of a muddy tent site you'll appreciate this covered option). read more

We stayed at the LOGE Riverside and loved it. Our travels took us out to the peninsula. Decided to give this location a go. Reserved a double queen room over two weeks in advance. They put us in a double full room after paying for the other one. When we went to get it corrected. There was no one at the counter. Had to call their help number. After 30 minutes on the phone, still no resolution. Will have second thoughts about booking another experience. If giving zero was an option that's what I would do. read more

I have stayed at this location many times. The rooms are super cute and comfy. Using the facility for the RV hookup/camping spots is great as well because of the shower/heated bathroom. Honestly the Loge is the way to go. Beyond the amenities, I have consistently enjoyed the staff. Specifically Emily, who has been incredibly helpful in helping me figure out a lost wetsuit situation. Yup this place is cool! While I didn't actually stay here I did rent a wetsuit from them for surfing. In addition to being a motel they also rent surfboards and wetsuits. The biggest bonus is they are open till 8pm. All the other surf shops close at 4:30 so you have to have the gear back by then. We just came out for the afternoon so it was convenient to have some extra time. It was $18 to rent a wetsuit. They also have a coffee shop inside to help warm you up after the ocean chill. If I ever need lodging in Westport I would try this place out. They have camping, RV, hostel type lodging or private cabin rooms. The staff I interacted with was super fun and nice! read more

Absolutely gorgeous. It may be because I was the first one to stay in the newly renovated sites but very spacious, clean, luxurious. Nearby to very cute towns and all the smoker/grills/ fire pits work perfectly. Rooms/ bathrooms were much larger than expected, if you're a young adult on a budget the king room with pull out futon could fit 5 regularly plus one in a hammock and even bring an air mattress for more on the ground. Firm mattress and overly soft pillow (maybe bring your own). Best shower of our lives. Only problem is with who installed the actual shower hardware. Someone's handle popped off and some symbols on the handles are backwards :(. Yikes. But nevertheless, amazing stay. read more

This is a unique operation and concept, and I dig it. They took an old beach motel and turned it into a multi-use property. There are private rooms, bunk/hostel rooms, community room, fire pits, cafe, and more. If you're an outdoorsy person they have all sorts of gear... wet suits, surf and stand up boards, etc... To start, contactless check in and parking right outside your room, amazing! The room itself was SO cute. Loved the pops of teal and orange. The bed was clean and comfortable. Fridge in room, Netflix on the tv, they even have phone chargers for you to use! Truly this place was just right for our needs. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both. My only complaints - the water pressure in the shower is horrible. It's very low, it took forever to wash the shampoo out of my hair. Also, the walls are a bit thin, we could hear people talking and walking by for several hours. Thankfully I'm a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me. But my husband said he woke up several times both nights. Overall we would definitely stay here again! For the price and how clean and updated it is... It's the best place to stay overall in Westport. read more

They'll charge you a hefty fee if you happen to be the unlucky renter that pulls the last thread of your rented surfboard or wetsuit. They gave me an old beat-up board and, surprise surprise, the leash broke off on me. I booked surf gear for a "1 day rental." The manager left a message for me at 7:30pm, 2.5 hours after they close, asking for return as soon as possible because the equipment was booked for the next day. I took special care to get the gear I. before their opening time, rinsed and ready. about an hour later, they charged my card for a full second day rental even though I returned it before they opened. This is the worst place to stay in Westport. Rooms were dirty, customer service is non-existent, beds are incredibly hard, and you can hear everything happening in the room next door. However, they do offer a lot of branded merchandise for purchase in your room, but no water glasses. Don't even think about renting their surf gear either- it's total garbage. Oh man...I really wanted to love this place but it just didn't live up to our expectations. We had booked an RV spot for the VW camper van we were renting. When I first made my reservation, their system somehow defaulted to the DAY OF for the reservation, rather than the date we actually wanted (2 months in the future). It was nearly impossible to get someone to contact me to cancel the wrong reservation (tried email, phone, Instagram...). It finally got worked out and we were refunded our duplicate reservation. When we arrived, the spot was great. Check in was fine, except I forgot I had added a welcome bucket of beers to our reservation, and apparently so did the desk gal. She came out to find us later when she realized it, so...no big deal. Then, we were counting on grabbing food at the on-site cafe (COVID times, so not a ton of local options were open). There were maybe 3 menu items available (watch out if you have dietary restrictions). We ordered both the meat and cheese plates. They didn't have all the ingredients to put together both of these, so they just kind of sliced up what they had and cut us a deal on it (the owner had to help out here because service was so glacially slow). Later on in the night, some people showed up saying they had reserved the same campsite as us...but by that time, there were no employees on site and the phone number listed went to an answering service. It was really awkward to have these people glaring at us in irritation since we were in "their spot" and there was no one to turn to for help. Eventually the owner? manager? did call me back and had resolved the double booking, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Then, we were disappointed to learn that, while LOGE rents surfboards, kayaks, and SUPs, you have to transport these items to the water yourself (it wasn't clear to me that this was something that would require a vehicle just based on the map). This detail isn't outlined as far as I could see, and since we were in a rental camper van, it wasn't feasible for us to transport our own gear. We were so excited to go kayaking. I would recommend they either clarify things on their website or buy a transport van and offer transportation to the water. I will say, the concept is neat, and I'd be interested in seeing the hotel rooms. We had some great chats with some of the other folks staying in the campsites, but I was pretty disappointed overall. read more

By far the cleanest hostel I've stayed at in the States. The staff & guests were friendly & chill too which was a bonus. Loved that they went over the top in the private rooms with chargers, outdoor blankets, coolers, lamps, and other gear to make the experience as complete as possible. Note to backpackers, campers, surfers, novice outdoor folk, and hotel goers: this place is for you. The staff is phenomenal and very helpful and informative about the area. Each campsite has its own water and power hookup as well as a chair, level sand tent pad, and picnic table. I was a new(ish) camper and found this place to be very comfortable. The cafe was adorable and they had several local beers on tap as well as coffee, espresso, and tea. We are definitely coming back here again and would consider this the best place in town. Super friendly staff Liz and feel very welcoming. Originally we rented two rooms and got there an hour early so we have decided to rent a cover campsite to hangout. It's a very unique place and safe for families to camp out for a day or two. The only drawback was one of the rooms was ready a little after 5pm and the other one was available around 5:30pm (Liz explained next morning having a staff issue after the pandemic, understand on their side but I still think they should've prepared better) We will definitely return to Loge @ Westport before this summer is over with my friends. What an awesome location! Dog friendly! Budget friendly! Traveler friendly for sure. Hotel rooms are super cute, décor is a groovy beach surfer vibe. For the budget conscious there is a hostel with a full kitchen and living room area (everyone can use these), for campers there are rv sites and tent travelers - COVERED tent sites! Fire pits, bbq grill, dog and surf gear wash area, and this location is super close to all the lovely beaches. I love that I could park right in front of my room door, this made loading and unloading my doggos super easy. You will fall in love with the surf art hanging in the rooms. This is my second stay, and I highly recommend it for the adventurous, budget conscious traveler. Re the one negative review about accessibility, the room I stayed in would have perfectly accommodated anyone with special needs. read more

This review is mainly from experiencing our stay in the covered camp site area as well as other amenities/accommodations provided. My family and I stayed here last weekend just for 1 night, 3/6-3/7. After a long 3 and 1/2 hour drive, we were looking forward to getting camp set up, and to start out day. It's a cute good sized place that consists of RV/trailer parking spaces with ample room to situate yourself, your family, as well as a small tent just within that specific RV/trailer zone, a center stage for entertainment, a fire pit and lounge chairs in front of the stage, a life sized Jenga set that we located on the stage, and a community bathroom (1 for men and 1 for woman) that consists of 1 toilet, 1 shower, a small unclouded section to change, and a sink. There's also a community room (open from 8am-10am and must be entered by using a passcode) with a living room, dining room, and a kitchen. Lodge rooms, and also as I previously mentioned, a handful of covered camping spaces. We totally loved the concept of this place and think it's totally neat. However there were some downfalls to it as well. The "covered" camp site spaces, are covered, but not totally. The tarp above you doesn't fully the entire area of your site, and has about 4 to 6 inch gap on all 3 sides. We appreciated the fact that there was a sand box type of thing to set up your tent on, but with the gap of the tarp, and with it being rainy the night before, and early in the morning (prior to us arriving), the sand was wet/damp. We'd suggest bringing an extra tarp to lay on top of the sand if you'll be coming during this time of the year. Also an extra tarp to cover the front portion of your site if you wanted a little more privacy/security as it is an open area where anyone could just walk in and out as they'd please. (Bare in mind if you have little ones or pets) We also loved the fact that they provided outlets for us to use, but we'd also recommend bringing an extension cord if you wanted more play to move whatever your using around. The community bathroom. If you plan to use these, make sure you have QUARTERS on you. It is 4 quarters for 6 minutes to take a shower. When we first arrived around 10am-ish we went straight to the bathroom, and at that time there was a shower curtain. Fast forward to around 5pm, the shower curtain was gone, and so were the employees who run the place lol. You can't lock the main door that's the entrance for the bathroom, so just ensure there's a curtain before the employees dip out for the day. read more

I inquired about handicapped accessibility. They don't have any handicapped accessible rooms and their property isn't either. When I asked why their response was: "We don't have to because the building is old and grandfathered in." Wow, that's really accommodating of them. They claim to be a place that wants to build a caring, loving "community" as long as your able bodied. In other words there's an exclusion clause if you're handicapped. We chose to stay at Loge Westport because it was supposed to be a rainy day/night and they offer covered campsites. The tarp roofs that are overtop the campsites do not fully extend to the walls of the campsite so it rains on the perimeter of the site. The tarp is falling in at spots.. it needs TLC. The sand box where you set up your tent is in the corner and exposed to the rain all night which left puddles of water around our tents which left our tents extremely damp. The electrical box is also in the corner.. getting rained on all night. How are we supposed to use this? The covered campsites are a cool thought but they are poorly designed. Also, the 630am dumpster trash pickup was a nice touch. Nothing like waking up to a dumpster slamming onto the ground. Why is this a thing? We were not impressed with this place. read more

This place was EVERYTHING and MORE. By far the most accommodating staff I've ever come across. This little gem of a hideaway was everything my husband I needed for a quick work trip/getaway to Westport. The whole property has such a community vibe, the rooms are super clean, they provide you with really anything you'd need for a weekend trip to the beach - YETI cooler, puffy beach blanket, chargers, drink coozies, YETI mugs...the list goes on. We brought our Boston terrier with us and they included a dog mat and bowls for us in the room upon arrival! We stayed three nights and switched rooms halfway through our stay due to making late room reservations. Not only did the staff go out of their way to flip our new room for early check in, but personally texted me to let me know my room was ready as I was enjoying my afternoon on the beach...simply the best. We weren't able to rent surf gear this trip but will take advantage of it next time we come. Wish we were able to enjoy some live entertainment in their amazing back yard, but due to covid, there was none.(completely understandable). Coffee or breakfast sammies? They got you. Shout out to Liz for her "baristas choice" latte she made me. For my first morning at the LOGE. 15 out of 10 would and will recommend. We will absolutely be back and we can't wait for our next trip to Westport JUST to stay at the LOGE!! read more

During our stay the Loge cafe was under construction and a strict deadline for completion yet everyone from front desk to construction crew was nice and helpful. (I had to "bother" the construction crew with questions a few times and they were so friendly and didn't seem annoyed. The construction did not bother us at all and the new cafe looks like it will be amazing! We were able to use the community room to make breakfast and dinner which was so helpful when traveling. The rooms are so cute and comfy. I loved the blankets and comfy bed. The two cats on the property allowed my kids to live in them. There is an amazing Gluten Free restaurant a few miles away that had awesome homemade gluten free meals. Before heading out we bought some of the LOGE logo wear so we can spread the word of this amazing place. We hope to visit this cute little town again for some surf!! read more

This place is rad. It's still being built but the rooms, rv/ tent sites and hostel bunks are up and running (cafe soon!!) The whole footprint of the property is well thought out. We went with our 2 year old and the rooms and grounds were accommodating. Music 6-8 Saturday nights. Sometimes Westport brings liquid sunshine but the campsites are covered and have raised platforms. The camping bathrooms have a pay shower. It's a great place to bring a group of friends. We did and had a great time sitting around one of the 3 fire rings well into the night sipping whiskey. The owners have a great vision and this is a huge gain for the community of Westport. Can't wait to see the progress next time we visit! read more

We chose a Queen suite for a Friday evening stay and were impressed with how clean it was and we loved the fun surfers vibe! The couples next door apologized the next day for their barking dogs but we didn't hear a thing and we tend to be light sleepers so I think there must be good insulation between the walls! The stay came with two free beverages so we had coffee. It was delicious and they even had my favorite milk alternative...oat milk! We celebrated a birthday in the outdoor picnic area cooking burgers on the Traeger grill. Such a fun time that we decided to stay an extra night but they were booked. Apparently their Saturday evenings book out weeks and even months in advance so don't wait until the last minute! Also, every single staff member was warm and friendly and so helpful! Just spent the weekend with three other families and it was fantastic. Movie night, Friday. Live music, Saturday. Lots of sleeping options for all budgets.
