The harsh pain began Monday and Tuesday I was at the dentist. He found a crack causing the pain and suggested a root canal. He referred me to Dr. Caissie and I was able to get in on Wednesday. I've never had a root canal so obviously I was very anxious. I did some research online and some people suggested against a root canal citing infection can spread to your blood stream. They suggested an extraction instead. Well, after trying to move the tooth with my fingers to realize how tightly secure they were I know an extraction would be awfully painful and more serious than drilling a whole into the cracked tooth. This was confirmed by Dr. Caissie when he mentioned that if the tooth was cracked deep down he would need to refer me to an oral surgeon. Yes, like surgery! Luckily, my crack was not deep enough to require an extraction or fear infection spreading to my blood stream. Everyone at the office was extremely polite, honest, and most importantly, caring. The doctor came in and introduced himself and explained everything with visuals so I had no doubts about what I was in for. He addressed all my concerns and put me at ease. Let me make this clear, I am referred to as McChicken by loving friends, because I won't even do roller coasters, but I love scary movies; go figure! Clearly not a fan of pain. I also researched laughing gas, but this would be even more expensive on top of an already unexpected expensive procedure. If you don't get the laughing gas you'll still get the numbing injections so I didn't deem it necessary. I couldn't imagine a pain greater than that of the cracked tooth, and I was right, I didn't need the laughing gas after all. With Dr. Caissie's experienced hand I didn't even feel the injections!!!! I told him I had a high tolerance to anesthesia which meant more shots, but again, I didn't feel them. The last time I had injections at another dentist it was very painful and an unforgettable experience, so this was a huge relief!!! By the looks of it you would have thought I was in pain, holding on to the chair for dear life in fear I would feel the slightest pain. There goes McChicken again, but I digress. Please don't hate me; or do, it motivates me!!! I did not feel any pain whatsoever. Come to find out I actually had 4 roots which is a bit unusual, so Dr. Caissie had more work on his hands, and thus, the procedure took longer. He said I would have pain and prescribed steroids to help with the swelling. I was not thrilled about hearing the word pain, but oh well, at least it was not oral surgery or an extraction. Ok, you can hate how. Later on that evening, I still felt no pain. When asked later that evening if I felt pain, I said it must still be numb. I got a quick side-eye look and was told that should had worn off by now. Well, it's the day after in the afternoon and I've had coffee and later on a cold beverage by the pool and STILL NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Caissie and now that as I keep getting older I will need more of these and know where to go. NO PAIN!!!!! Thank you, Dr. Caissie!!!! Eternally grateful #greenlight

My mother is a Humana insurance member, and she was charged thousands of dollars for dental crowns that should have been covered. The office either failed to verify her insurance benefits properly or deliberately misled her about coverage. After being concerned about the high out-of-pocket costs, my mother sought a second opinion at a different dentist. To our shock, we were told that the crowns are fully covered under her Humana plan and should never have required such a large payment. This raises serious ethical concerns about the practices at this office. Either they are not competent enough to properly process insurance claims or they are intentionally overcharging patients for procedures that should be covered. This is not just frustrating--it's financially and emotionally damaging to patients, especially seniors on fixed incomes. I strongly encourage others to get a second opinion before agreeing to any major work here and to verify everything independently with your insurance provider. We will be reporting this office to Humana and the appropriate state dental board. Patients deserve transparency and honesty--not predatory billing.

My first night here - Saturday, I broke off a large piece of a back molar - #14 - while eating a pizza! NOT a good start to my vacation with no dental insurance to boot! I got a referral from a friend of the family that lived in this area for Dr. Reddish. He had been their family dentist for about 20 years. Thank goodness! Dr. Reddish's office was able to get me in on Monday afternoon. I was SO worried about the possible damage and finances and procedures. The total cost was manageable and far from being outrageous, as some dentists charge. Dr. Reddish was positive, upbeat, easy going, reassuring,and was able to fix my tooth right then and there. He made sure that I was at ease, administered Novocaine to be sure there would be no pain in smoothing the broken tooth and building it back up. I NEVER had a Novocaine shot...and I have had plenty with fillings!...that did NOT hurt some. His technique was flawless. He made sure the adhesion was secure, smoothed the tooth surface out, checked to make sure my night guard was a good fit, and we were done! THIS is the kind of dentist, that IF he were in my area, I would claim as my own! 5 STARS. I had to drive about 45 minutes to get to him from my location, albeit there were MANY other dentists that were only a couple miles from me. Completely worth it! The 1st time I met Dr. Morales, I went into an anxiety attack & he left the room for he felt he was stressing me more. Through the kindness of dental assistant, Estefania, & Insurance Clerk, Agustina, I was able to calm down. When Dr. Morales returned, he was kind, reassuring, & patient with me. He didn't make me feel rushed, as he explained the dental implant procedure. It was as if I was his only patient. I entrusted doing the procedure with Dr. Morales. Through this 1st phase, where he had to remove remaining teeth & cap bases, Dr. Morales was a great comfort putting me at ease. He had to anesthetize me & it happened so quickly & professionally, I barely remember the process until waking up. Dr. Morales was thorough in his work & did an excellent job explaining the next steps to a groggy person. I've seen him on a follow up visit & surprisingly for me, I had NOT ONE moment of anxiety. Dr. Morales has made me feel beyond at ease & reassured. I felt no pressure as he completed the examination & answered every one of my questions. It's been a very long time since I've felt comfortable with a dentist, but I can absolutely say that Dr. Morales is golden. He wanted to cap a tooth of mine that he claimed had a cavity - without fixing the cavity. Which is dangerous!
