We just moved here from Southern California and everywhere else it has been very welcoming and professional. This place stay clear. I made sure to provide everything needed to come in. With my previous dental records, insurance and even opted for a extra dental coverage. I came to my appointment and apparently they dont accept any of my insurances. Not only that, receptionists had the audacity to say she tried calling me. Really after an entire month ?! That I provided all of my information needed to be seen. Not only that I got a text reminder to come in? And I was not called to be aware of them not accepting my insurances. My appointment was in a Wednesday. When you find a great dentist what do you do? You tell all your friends of course! I have been coming to see Dr. Reid for about 2-3 years and wouldn't have it any other way. The office staff is friendly and warm, and makes an effort to remember people to create a community environment. Walking in you will be greeted by the receptionist (Crystal) who is excellent at multitasking and can say hello to you and book the next appointment by phone without missing a beat. The office looks like a house from the outside and in the inside it has a home type layout. The waiting area is comfortable and gives off a living room with the warm wood floors and the plants. Off to the right of the waiting area are the three separate dental rooms. Each section has large windows to let in a lot of daylight which is nice because it does not have a traditional fluorescent office glow. It keeps the room comfortable and refreshing, which I am sure is great for those coming in for a challenging procedure! The dental hygienist are gentle and are excellent at walking through what they are doing, and remembering sensitive areas as to not irritate them or make the experience uncomfortable. After the teeth cleaning procedure Dr. Reid will come in and do a final check. Much like her staff she carries a very conversational tone and goes out of her way to remember not only your dental history, but most importantly the person she is talking to. I am a fan of Mills Park Dental! If you're in the market for a new dentist, this is a great place to start. read more

I definitely don't understand the one star review. I almost think they got the wrong business. Dr. Anne Reid is pretty fantastic (and not a "he") and every appointment I have had has always started on time. The office is small but very clean and inviting. The staff is great from the hygienist to the tech to Dr. Reid herself. I was amazed that she was able to remove the stain on my front teeth that I have had since childhood without any invasive procedure and minimal discomfort. It took maybe two treatments. Her knowledge, encouragement and advice has been a great boost to my dental health and I pretty much won't go anywhere else ever again. I was referred to Mills Park Dental by a coworker and am very happy to have found such a good dentist! The office is very clean and the front desk staff is super nice and informative. Dr. Reid is the ringleader and she is comforting and talks you through each procedure step-by-step. I just had my teeth cleaned this Monday, and Dr. Reid checked my teeth. I've been going there for several years. It sounds so stupid to say that I like going to the dentist, but I do! I love that it looks like a little house from the outside, is spacious inside, always feels like I'm the most important person there, and everybody IS SO NICE. I send all my friends there, too--especially the ones who are scared of dentists. Nobody can be scared of Anne Reid. (She's the one in the whitening photos on here). I'm lucky with my teeth and haven't had problems, so I can't speak to that. But I know from friends that she is very reasonable and straightforward about cost of bigger procedures, that she has excellent relationships with oral surgeons in the area, and, most importantly, that she can make a plan that fits into people's budget. Not everybody can afford to get all their old issues fixed, and Dr. Reid is great at setting and explaining priorities and making a good plan. read more

So while desperately looking for a dentist, I happened to run onto this page! I was a little skeptical to go because it only had one review, and I am a pretty big "review queen" :-p. Boy, was I happy that I followed my gut! This office is small, clean, and well kept. It does not have that industrial, rushed, patient after patient feel. You feel like each and every one of the employees care for you. (as they do!) The Front Desk Staff is very friendly, and well organized. I received a reminder call before my appointment, as well as a follow up call a couple days after my appointment! Dr. Reid is GREAT! I came in for a extensive cleaning and check up. Her very extensive knowledge and friendly presence left me leaving very happy. Come to my surprise, she did the WHOLE cleaning herself! I am very pleased. Another great thing about Dr. Reid is that she is from New York! Yay! A fellow New Yorker! So put together a great New Yorker dentist, with awesome food tastes - and you get a well educated and professional dentist with awesome conversations! I can't believe I am saying this... But.... I don't even know where to start to describe how great this place is. But I suppose it's with the first person you talk to when you call/ the first person you see when you walk in. Crystal is AWESOME! She's so friendly and accommodating. I called as new patient and expressed I was having some pain and she was able to get me in the same day. At my last dentist I had to wait 3 weeks before I could even get it looked at. She was also sure to take all measures to be sure my insurance would cover my treatment. The office itself is in the charming Mills 50 district and has a warm, inviting feeling. It's like a little spa oasis, instead of a sterile, cold business building. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and seemed to genuinely care for the patients. But the star of the office is Dr. Reid herself. She didn't just use dental jargon in a cold, detached manner to tell me what procedure I needed. She took the time to explain what I needed, why I needed it, and exactly what she was going to do. She even showed me some of the materials she was going to use and explained why she was using them. For the first time ever I actually understood exactly what was going to be happening in my mouth. Overall, I didn't feel like "just another patient" here, I felt a great level of personal care that they give to each individual. I HIGHLY recommend Mills Park Dental! And although I can't say I'm looking forward to my next visit here, because it is still the dentist, I can say that I'm not dreading it. :-) read more

First off I havent been to the dentist in about 8 years. When it came time to find a dentist I usually go off of referrals. Each and every dentist was I was referred to was booked solid for the next few months. So I started to do my own research. I found Mills Park Dental in a random Google Search for a dental practice close to my work. They have a very nice display on their website and was shocked to see that their testimonials were from every other day. I dont know what kind of company can have that many honest reviews since opening in 2007. Ive seen companies open more than 20 years with less reviews. They appear to be desperate for patients to post fake reviews like that. So it started off sketchy, but I figured it was just a cleaning, so why not go check it out. The office building resembles a small cottage like home. Parking in the rear, entry from the back door. The inside resembles an Ikea look, very up to date and contemporary. Very cute. The receptionist, Julie, checked me in, logged in my paperwork and set me in the waiting room which was adjacent to the quaint little patio outside. From there I could see Dr Anne Reid walking about the small office, in and out of what looked like 3 patient rooms. I cant see any more than that fitting in this small place. Julie, the receptionist, aka dental assistant, brought me to my room to do the xrays. Then I met with Dr Anne Reid, a very friendly lady, she runs the place. She continued my cleaning and I was done within an hour. Dr Reid left me sit in the chair to attend to another patient for a few minutes, but other than that, my experience was great. Dr Reid was very informative and periodically made sure I wasnt in any discomfort. Over all, I would recommend her to a friend. My first experience wasnt bad at all. read more

I can't say enough great things about Mills Park Dental and Dr. Reid! Not only is it a nice and small family practice, it is comfortable and welcoming. Their hours are a little restricted, but I have never had an issue getting an appointment only a week or two out. Dr. Reid is warm and professional, as are her dental tech and assistant. They keep the office clean and at a comfortable temperature which is more than I can say for most medical offices. Another nice thing in the office is all of the natural light coming in from the large windows. Overall, I would recommend Mills Park Dental to anyone who asks, and do so with gusto! read more

Soooo, just when you think Mills Park Dental couldn't get any worse...it does! Fast forward six months from my last review, I had an appointment scheduled for a cleaning in May. I did not hear from them and sent them an email attempting to confirm; no response. I also called several times to try to confirm my appointment; no one ever answered. I left several voicemail message and Crystal finally telephoned me back on the day of the appointment. I was working and Crystal left a voicemail message indicating that I have a balance on my account and therefore, my appointment had been cancelled. Mind you, I never received ANY notice that there was a balance AND as previously indicated, I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I thought this must be a mistake, so I let it go. However, I received something few days later in the mail indicating that I had a balance of over $300.00. Interestingly, the letter indicating a balance of $0.00 at 30 days; a balance of $0.00 at 60 days; but a balance of over $300.00 at 90 days, acknowledging they had not sent out ANY notices to me informing me that there was a balance due. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield immediately and they indicated that Crystal had billed my dental insurance and she needs to bill my medical first, then the dental kicks in. Mind you, this is exactly what Crystal had said when she photographed BOTH of my insurance cards. Blue Cross Blue Shield offered to call Crystal directly while I was on hold. Blue Cross Blue Shield said that Crystal was rude to them and said she did not have my member ID number, although she acknowledged to them that she had scanned BOTH of my insurance cards, both have my member ID number on them! Blue Cross Blue Shield informed her that she needs to bill my medical FIRST then my dental. Let's see if Crystal actually does her job this time! Blue Cross Blue Shield suggested that I go elsewhere for my dental needs, and I will listen to them, and I suggest that you do too, particularly if you have dental insurance. My best guess is that insurance billing may be outside of Crystal's skillset. If you do not have medical and dental insurance, this place may be good for you...otherwise, look elsewhere! read more

Let me start by saying Dr Reid gets 5 stars it's that nasty receptionist I am giving a one star. This place used to be very good and on top of things not sure if it's just the receptionist being difficult always but I think it's time I take my business elsewhere since shes is who I deal with more. I have been coming for 5 years. Usually a good experience tech are friendly and know their jobs One rotten egg can ruin a whole buisness but this is being allowed. This wasn't the case with the old receptionist she was on top of things knew her work and was always pleasant Too many choices for a dentist. I won't deal with it any further Being I'm self paying and not going through insurance I'm in snd out with a swipe of a credit card Seriously don't need the nasty girl up front who is giving wrong advise on the policy of the office I spoke to the dr it's all her. Lets just say that when it comes Dr.'s and Dentists, if I am not dying or in need of immediate attention, I am staying far away. However After visiting Mills Park Dental, my fears have been put to rest. Not only was everyone their so friendly and helpful, but they took the time to listen and understand my concerns.
