Ok your food is really good but when you go in the bathroom and it looks like someone puked behind the trash can and was never cleaned. Really makes your stomach turn thinking what your kitchen looks like. You guys seriously need to address this it's nasty. Ruined it for me. read more

The food is really great here. Chicken Fried steak with green chili is just absolutely divine.

Ive lived year for decades and never heard of this place until a friend recommended it. Recommend Ed it specifically for the chicken fried steak. Much to my surprise it was quite tasty. My SO had the chicken fried steak and it was crisp on the outside yet still tender inside. I had small burrito and it was good. Ok but not outstanding green chili. If you order CFS get a small,or split the large. With the hash browns and all it is huge meal. read more

A very charming little cafe we stumbled upon by accident. We returned several times for breakfast during our stay in Fort Collins! We loved the breakfast burritos with homemade green chili and had to take two amazing freshly baked cinnamon rolls to go! The staff was so friendly and attentive! This place is a little hidden gem in Ault, CO. We live in Cheyenne, WY and often choose to drive here and enjoy a meal! Their food has never disappointed and is always amazing. A friend and I recently had brunch at Gray's Cafe. She had an omelet with green chili. I had the Mexican steak with eggs. Both dishes were delicious. The green chili had just the right amount of bite. There was only one waitress on duty, and she did it all, efficiently! The cinnamon rolls sounded so good that we each ordered one to go. I've had a few bites of mine since coming home, and it's delicious in spite of not having raisins or pecans. read more

Wonderful place, nearby my sister's house and she kept talking about the cinnamon rolls as big as your Head!! We went and confirmed that this is indeed True!! After a bit of consternation at the size the warm gooey cinnamon fresh roll bread smell, we decided to share. 3 of us pitched in and not a crumb was left at the end of our meal!! We enjoyed our "real food" too! We had Omelettes and BLTs too and left very full ... with smiles! Nice servers. Pretty country place. Bring a friend and give it a try! read more

Call Chef Ramsey‼‼Hey owners read your reviews. Who is managing your cafe?? Met a friend in town-OH & by the way we drove 40 miles each from opposite directions. Hash browns so greasy I belched grease for the rest of the day. But, to top it off I got a cinnamon roll to take home to my husband. What a disgrace! Got it home and he decided to have some. Bottom burnt to a crisp-as hard as a rock cause baked too long-dry as a popcorn fart-no icing. I mean what the hell? you folks don't want return customers? Business so good from in town you can scam someone from out of town? I've never seen her before-send the burnt one with her?? Oh no you don't serve me crap that should have been in the trash‼ I will find the owners and they will know that you should be without your job for treating a customer like the trash that you sent with me. I will get a refund and if I have to drive back their 40 miles-I will ask for gas money also. Get a clue-customers deserve top notch food and SERVICE! You failed. The food was fantastic! Nothing crazy, just well made home cooking. Very casual vibe.

Just driving through this town and stopped by fir lunch. Kiara (owner's daughter) has the absolute best customer service approach to everyone she meets. We both had cheeseburgers with onion rings and they were perfectly prepared. Iced tea was cold and fresh. What more could you ask for? read more

The food was, okay. The service was good. I felt sorry for our waitress, there was another person working as well, but she did absolutely nothing!! She was wearing a pink sweat shirt. It was upsetting to see this. There was food all over the floor under one table and tables needed cleared off and wiped down. Just didn't seem all that clean. Not sure I will be returning. I am handicapped by strokes and had to have my wife assist me in and out of the front door step. The basted eggs were acceptable, the hash browns resembled a fast food potato cake. Overdone, the bacon was overcooked and had a pepper aftertaste. Decor was clean, 50's vintage. The service was adequate, she was young, we are senior citizens. Will not return. read more

Neat little place if your passing through between Fort Collins and Sterling on CO-14 next to US-85. It also happens to be the only place. The food variety is plenty, sure to satisfy anyone's desires and the bacon is amazing. There is also German sausage (not on the menu, but usually available if asked for). The prices are fair and the locals will make you feel like family. The service is good and you wind up leaving in good spirits after a pleasant stop. read more

The place is rough inside but they do serve up a good helping of great dishes. Not to mention the tasty cinnamon rolls.

We were out on a weekend drive and happened through Ault at lunch time. Did the Yelp check for restaurants and found this place. It didn't disappoint. Good basic cafe with good basic menu/food. We enjoyed the green chili omelette and the club sandwich. We left satisfied and will be back if coming through. read more

The cinnamon rolls might be as big as your head, but they taste like grocery store rolls that have been left out for two days. You'll need a couple glasses of water or coffee to wash them down. I feel like if you're gonna try to be famous for a certain menu item, at least do it well. The coffee tasted like instant Folgers and my breakfast burrito seemed like they microwaved it for two minutes..burnt cheese on top, cold in the middle. I live in the county and drove out of my way to stop by here because of these "famous" cinnamons rolls and honestly, if you think these are good you really need to get out more. Oh and let's not forget the crazy pro-gun, confederate nostalgia they claim as "decor". Ya'll...this is why people make jokes about Weld County. As a former southerner, this place is a cheap knock-off of the worst diner you'd find in rural South Carolina- it screams "white supremacy" while making very clear that there's nothing "supreme" about it. Just people missing teeth and covered with tattoos. Thank God there's a Mexican restaurant across the street. They could teach these cafe owners a few things. Yikes! read more

Ordered the bacon double cheeseburger and it nearly killed me...every bit of a half pound of beef and thick, tasty bacon. More fries than I could eat. I really wanted to try the humongous cinnamon rolls but I was just too full. It took a while to get my food but it was obviously fresh and cooked to order. We went here to try the cinnamon roll and they were out. The polite and accommodating waitress suggested we try the cinnamon toast and gave us some frosting to go with it and BAM!!! it was delicious! I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were soft and airy and delicious, I added a bit of pepper to the gravy to make it more my flavor and it was great!
