Wow. People rave about this place but it was for their salads so I always thought it wasn't for me. But one late work night later, I was heading home and needed a quick dinner. I remembered this place, called in my order, and was sitting at home with the steak torta about 20 minutes later. One initial thought when I opened up my wrapping was that it was a mistake to get the steak torta to-go because it was full of sauce, guacamole, and jalapenos, which make the whole thing soggy. In fact, it was most definitely soggy already. But incredibly, the sogginess was not a problem. In fact, it ended up being the highlight of the sandwich, especially paired with the cheap crispy potato chips. The whole thing had a nice kick and the steak was tasty and tender. Because of the aforementioned sogginess, I couldn't save the other half for another meal...so I ended up eating both halves. This left me overly stuffed but...that's not Graze's fault. Overall, I was impressed with the meal and will be coming back for more. read more

We are visiting the area and needed a fast lunch. We wanted something tasty, yet non-greasy. How I wish we had ordered a salad, because those looked so amazing! What we did order was good, but not exceptional. We had a turkey and avocado sandwich, and the turkey and cucumber sandwich. The service was very prompt and we were able to score a table, which was nice because it was so busy. We did not have any sides with our sandwiches, but apparently you can order chips or an added salad. As we were in a hurry, and I was not the one doing the ordering, as I headed straight to the table to sit down. (I've hurt my ankle and am using a cane.) No iceberg lettuce or super processed ingredients here! What a delight it was to find a little independent cafe that even offers up vegan options, which is a huge step here in Tri-cities. I opted for the lemongrass salad that came packed with veggies and even fresh sprouts. Everything here is freshly made and even offers up some seasonal items which I want to come back and try. My only beef with this place is that it's always jam packed. I would highly advise not coming here on your lunch hour unless you've placed an order ahead but even with that there seemed to be a wait period with several folks waiting outside for pick up. read more

The atmosphere is really simple,clean, and cute. the people are all really friendly. They brought out our food for us because we were sitting outside. I ordered the Cesar salad with chicken. I'm not usually a salad person, like I love bread -- but the salads they serve here are so flavorful, multi-dimensional and satisfying I barely missed it. I had the lemongrass salad and the veggie torta and I realized it was way too much food for me, but both were absolutely delicious! This two star rating is specifically for my last order. Generally everything about Graze is awesome. This time my family ordered three sandwiches. Two we're supposed to have avocado added for an up-charge. After getting home with our sandwiches we realized our sandwiches didn't have the avocado. At this time Graze was closed. The sandwiches were very dry, especially without the avocado. I sent a message immediately on their website. Didn't really expect a response immediately but hoping to hear from someone within a day or so. One week later and still nothing. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. What used to be a 5 star restaurant has become a 3 star to me now. I've been coming here for years and the food and service have declined. Not enough for me to stop coming altogether but enough to know it's not what it used to be. Pros: -Huge salads -Tasty sandwiches with options for salad or chips Cons: -Cobb salad used to have flank steak and now it's been reduced to salty pastrami which was full of fat. Poor decision. Who eats cold, salty pastrami in a salad? I guess I did when I didn't know it changed. Last time I do that. -Discombobulated. The workers take FOREVER to make your order. They were out of metal utensils but don't replace it with plastic ones. So when you get your order, everyone has to march to the counter to ask for one and then be given the plastic utensil. I watched this happen to many people including myself. -Customer service. With at least four people working, you'd think they would keep the tables and garbage area cleaner. So, if you come in to enjoy the food expecting a fast food feel instead of a cafe feel, then you'll be fine. read more

Wow... Who ever is managing this place needs to get a grip on the employees. I still love the food, but this place is not living up to the "Graze" name in Walla-Walla. I was in there about 4pm yesterday and the place was dead. There were three employees just standing around chatting behind the counter. Here's a list of issues 1) There were NO forks, knives, spoons to be found 2) There were dirty dishes piled above the trash can 3) The recycle bin was OVERFLOWING onto the floor 4) The trash bin in the men's room was FULL 5) Every table was dirty with crumbs, napkins, etc 6) The chairs were all in disarray I ordered my food and sat and waited, they spent more time chit-chatting then making food. About 20 minutes to put together a cold sandwich?! And then once it came out it just wasn't the quality I've expected from Graze. The tomato slices were WAY too thick, the bread was stale and the meat was laking. While I was there a couple also came in to pick up an online order. Based on the conversation I overheard, they hadn't even STARTED the order until the people arrived. This was all before the dinner rush at a time that IMHO the place should have been spotless. My husband and I arrived at Graze on 12/4/22 at around 2:00pm. As we walked in there were around 6 people sitting in the dining area and 1 young man sitting by the door. There were 3 employees behind the counter and no one greeted us. We stepped closer to the counter and a young woman came to the counter and looked at us, she didn't say anything. I asked her about the drinks in the cooler and she shrugged her shoulders and mumbled something. We placed our order and paid her. She turned around and walked away giving the order to another employee. We stood there for a moment waiting for the to say something, she said nothing. I asked if we should sit down and she nodded. We thought perhaps she's deaf due to the fact that she never spoke? Turns out her name is Maria and she does hear & knows the English language she chose NOT to speak to us and showed no customer service skills. This was such a strange experience. The tomato soup was fine but the turkey avocado sandwich had absolutely no taste. The music was too loud my husband and I had to lean forward to hear each other. We were impressed at the cleanliness of the place, however, we will never return, we were very disappointed. As we left I asked if the owner was in and a different young lady told us they never come in! Ah ha, no manager available that in itself is a bad sign. read more

DO NOT waste your money. Ordered the Banh Mi. True Banh Mi are a pork greatness. Graze do them with beef. Different. True Banh Mi are made with a crusty French style bread, NOT an soft Italian roll. Different. I ordered to try it anyway. Menu states topped with cilantro, pickled daikon, mayo, ect. My sandwitch arrived with NO cilantro, NO pickled daikon, and if any mayo was on the sandwitch it must have been licked off before i got my hands on it. The worst of of all NOT severed on any type of bun. No Italian roll as stated on the menu, not any bun at all! Served between two slices of somewhat toasted dried out white bread. Needless to say. VERRY poor. So many better choices for lunch. The cost at a total of $15.77 was VERY high for a sandwitch and a small bag of chips. read more

After reading 39 reviews for this restaurant, my stomach started to yell "FEED MEEEEE!" The anxiety I had to try this new place led me there for dinner earlier this week. Food Ordered: Wife ::::Pulled Pork Torta:::: Me::::Sexy Time Panini:::: Walking in we were greeted immediately. Which automatically won me over because now days it is very unexpected for employees to value customer service! We sat next to a children's section they had in the restaurant that consisted of a chalk board and connect four game. My daughter was very quickly entertained. A happy child, is a happy parent. Another reason why yelp points were easily boosted. Oh also can't forget to mention high chairs were super clean, so kudos to Graze. Dummm dumm daaaa dummmm- food arrived to the table by the outstanding employee, another great touch to customer service. The food display on the plate was sandwich cut right down the middle in half making it easier to eat. Especially for a one handed person like myself. Both sandwiches were really huge. The side i ordered was salad which they put enough to fill you up. The side wife ordered was chips, which was a very poor amount. Chips were good though. I take a bite of the Sexy Time panini which consisted of chicken, bacon, caramelized onions, thyme, chili flakes, and brie. Flavor overload, the melted brie with the crispy bacon but not over cooked bacon and the yummy caramelized onion, was sooooo delicious. The light hint of thyme and chili flakes complemented to other ingredients in like a symphonic unison on you taste buds. Stupid good. After that bite, I look at the Pulled Pork Torta and its like a tug of war battle. Its says show me some love. I proceed to take a big chompppp! The Pulled Pork Torta consist of chipotle dressing, avocado, pickled jalapeños and fresh cilantro. The Pulled Pork was nice and moist and cooked to perfection, the ripe avocado melted like butter right into the sammich, the pickled jalapeños and chipotle sauce was popping off like Bonnie and Clyde. Due to the pulled pork being perfectly cooked, my opinion was that it didn't need to put too much chipotle sauce of the sandwich. It was overpowering to the sad pickled jalapeños but with the fresh cilantro brought the spicy kick back a little to soothe your taste buds from the spicy kick your mouth just took. Overall a great place to get an awesome sandwich and spend some quality time as a family. The Graze has 2 other locations located in Walla Walla and they deliver and cater to parties. Their hours are kinda weird, they open 7 days a week from 10:00am-7:30pm Mondays thru Saturdays, and on Sundays they only open from 10am to 3pm. It does maximize profits since most restaurant down peak right at 7:00pm. Food to the Face score of 4 out of 5 stars Took the star away due to the Pulled Pork Torta being over sauced with the Chipotle Also they didn't ask if we needed a drink to compliment our meal. I've been waiting for a place like this! It's a cute and clean place. It was busy but I've noticed anytime there's a new place that opens in Tri-Cities, it's always packed for the first month or two. I came in for lunch and it took about 20 minutes to wait for my food. They apologized. I'll call in my order next time. No biggie. I sort of knew what I was getting into by coming so close to lunch time and it's a new place. I tried the Portabella Mushroom panini and it was delicious! I took a chance with the mushroom because it could go either way and I was pleasantly surprised. The bread was just right. I have an issue with some paninis where they're so hard that it cuts the roof of my mouth. Seriously. I'll be sure to go back to try a few more things and report back :) So far so good! UPDATE: My boyfriend and I have tried a few more sandwiches. Pepper Jack Chicken hot sandwich is really good. There's a slight spiciness to it. Boyfriend thought the Pastrami hot sandwich was really delicious! He's like this is a good sandwich :) Grilled Chicken Bacon (I had without the bacon-I know but just not a fan) was tasty even without the bacon. I also tried the Roast Turkey Avocado. This is the one that I felt meh about. I like the bread but in comparison to the other sandwiches I've had here, it was good but not great. Fresh, fast, and delicious sandwiches and salads. Upon entering Graze, I was greeted with the smell of fresh food, the way a produce stand smells. The place is minimalist and clean and the menu has a variety of gourmet sand which and salad choices - hot, cold, and panini style. With the sandwich you get a choice of salad or kettle chips. I tried the turkey, roast pear, provolone panini. It included fresh salad greens and blue cheese, though the blue cheese is not pasteurized so I had to opt out (pregnant lady problems). My husband had the equivalent in salad form which included cashews. The bread they used was fantastic and the sprinkle of sea salt on the top was a little extra step that really helped bring out the flavors. The toasted pears were really sweet and delicious, but not as much pear flavor as I would have liked. Overall a really great sandwich! Of course the kettle chips were good. Proportions were perfect as well. My husbands salad was equally good, and plenty big for a lunch! The cashews were good, but the salad would have been better with walnuts perhaps. The only thing missing at this place, and it doesn't detract in any way from the food or experience, is if they had outdoor seating to enjoy the warm weather and if they could get a few craft beers in their cooler. I was looking for a light lunch and decided to give this place a try. When you walk into this location it is cleaned and minimally decorated. The menu is located above the register and easy to read. They offer salads, cold sandwiches, and hot sandwiches. On this particular visit I decided to go with the cold steak sandwich and a sparkling cucumber drink. The sandwich comes on sliced sourdough. There is a little bit of mayonnaise fresh lettuce, roasted and pickled bell pepper, generous portion of steak, provolone cheese, and chimichurri sauce. The combination of the pickled pepper and the chimichurri against the saltiness of the cheese and the steak made it a perfect balance. The bread was fresh it wasn't overly dressed with mayonnaise or chimichurri. Overall I think this was one of my very favorite sandwiches in a long time. I decided to go with the house salad instead of the chips. The salad was fresh it was very basic but with the flavorful sandwich you really didn't need much more. The lettuces were crispy and not overly dressed. V cucumber sparkling water was very good and went perfectly with my sandwich. It had a very refreshing cucumber flavor and the zestiness of a sparkling water. It didn't say it had 11 carbs from sugar which was surprising because it wasn't sweet at all. Definitely a great drink for a hot day like today. The service was efficient and it was friendly. The one thing that was odd was the staff was speaking very loudly from the kitchen and that was a little bit distracting. They weren't saying anything outrages but were probably a little bit louder than they needed to be. I don't live in the area so I'm bummed that this isn't my standard lunch spot. I would love to have something like this in my neighborhood where I can go get a healthy lunch, a big salad, or just a comfy place to work. But when in town, I will certainly return! read more
