Dropped in for happy hour with a coworker and managed to snag two seats at the bar before the crowds showed up (and boy did they!) The bartenders were very friendly and did their best to provide speedy service despite the crowd. The outdoor bar area is spacious and comfortable. In addition to the bar seats there were quite a few tables available which accommodated a large party while we were there. While we were there mostly for HH drinks, we did try the mozzarella sticks, which were tasty, and the other HH menu items we saw others order looked good. Will visit again next time I'm in the city.

I have been dying to try Grazie Nonna for months, so I was excited to finally make it in! The staff were friendly and helpful. I also loved the attention to detail with the decor. My table ordered the Il Bruco pizza (my side without the mushrooms) and the vodka pasta. The pizza was delicious! The onions added the perfect flavor and the crust was perfect! I love a charred but fluffy pizza crust. The vodka pasta, however, was definitely undercooked at first. The manager came out and explained that it is homemade pasta so the texture is different, which is true, but I've had plenty of homemade pasta and this was not that. We cut into the pasta and there was still white inside. I do appreciate the manager for agreeing to send us out a fresh batch. The vodka sauce was okay, but I will definitely be back for the pizza!

Second time here when visiting and drunk in love pizza and Cesar salad is incredible! Good service and good atmosphere! Recommend a reservation!

OH SO GOOD! Came here for a work trip and decided to enjoy a solo dinner. Daniel my waiter was AMAZING. Incredibly attentive, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Very quick on his feet and helpful towards every table he had. The food was incredible. The salads were great and the Sunday Sauce pasta dish was amazing, cooked to perfection. I enjoyed a cocktail as well, the Pink Vespa and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. As a solo dinner, I was very comfortable. It wasn't too loud and the floor was very spacious. I will come back for sure.

Excellent restaurant, although slightly pricey. Im not a fan of pizza, but the dough and crust is exceptional in dc. The toppings for il bruco were refreshing. Caesar was wholesome. Out of the grazie restaurant series, this place and grazie kitchen are my favorites.

The place is super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. We had a reservation and were sat and served quickly. The wait staff was friendly. We loved the pizza the most (it was sweet) and the overall cost wasn't too expensive.

Came in a few weeks ago to grab some pizza, I wish that they made it easier to order takeout. If you're looking for just pizza, it may just be easier to order from Gracie Grazie, which seems to have the same pizza offerings. We went on a crowded Sunday, asked to place an order to go. Were told we could sit at the bar while we wait, but there was only one seat available. We ordered the Drunken Love and Mistress pizzas. Also ordered the Vodka pasta to go. While we waited there was a bit of an issue with the host and another server, but the bar staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had the pleasure of working with Maryanne and she was amazing! She made us feel very comfortable and offered us drinks while we waited. If you like tequila based cocktails, the Milano sunrise is a smash! It's so refreshing and an elevated tequila sunrise. Pizza was crispy, flavorful, but we wish it was a bit less crispy and maybe a bit more saucy. Pasta was very saucy and the noodles were absolutely fresh. I'd love to give them another try and eat there in person. Was a little turned off by the ordering to go experience and wish that the protocol was a bit easier. That said, once we were set up to work with Maryann, she was exceptional and we had a great experience!

Grazie Nonna is one of the best places in the city. Come with an empty stomach because you will be bursting at the seams with great food and drinks. The ambiance at night is especially impeccable as well. Highly recommend! I would definitely qualify this as a DC staple restaurant for sure!

Me and my bestie came in around 1:15 pm we had no reservation and it was pretty packed. We were seated at the pizza bar (we got to watch them make pizzas) we really enjoyed sitting here but it was kind of inconvenient since they were running food next to us the service wasnt the best. Overall the restaurant is fairly small, but it's very classy. I love the open windows and they have a cool bar in the back. Me and my best friend split the bill and it came out to $24 each, which isn't bad. We definitely will come back. The pizza was absolutely amazing and so was the salmon.

I have been wanting to try this spot and I am glad I came! I went out a Wednesday night and it was fully booked - glad I made a reservation! It's a cozy/nice place too. I ordered the espresso all'arancia drink which was fine, but I did like the orange and cardamon flavours. Drink came out fast. Had the Drunken Love pizza and it was definitely worth the hype! The pepperoni and vodka sauce makes it so tasty! The pizza was also bigger than I was expecting, so brought home a good amount as leftovers. Took a while to get the pizzas though. Also got dessert and I liked the budino - good butterscotch flavour that was light that complimented the crunchy and more saltier cookie! Also had the cannoli brownie which was fine, but a little denser and saltier than expected. Overall, a great stuff for classic Italian-American food and I'd come back! Maybe try another pizza next - the pizzas seem great here!

The inside of this restaurant is so beautiful and the staff was super friendly. I ordered the garlic bread and the alfredo pasta with chicken. I think the pricing of items here is a little expensive, for example, one piece of garlic bread for $9? And $15 extra because I added a protein to my pasta? All that being said, the food was delicious and I'd probably return for a special occasion.

Great food, warm service, and a cozy ambiance! I had a wonderful experience at Grazie Nonna. Our party of four was able to try a good mix of dishes -- I especially loved the Sunday Sauce pasta and the chicken parm, both packed with flavor and super comforting. We also ordered **The Mistress** pizza, which was delicious and definitely worth trying. The only downside is that the space can feel a bit crowded, even on a weekday evening, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. It's a smaller, very popular spot in a super convenient part of DC, so going at a slightly less busy time might make the experience even better. Overall, a really great meal and a place I'd happily come back to!

This is one of the better meals I've had in a while. There's no shortage of Italian restaurants in D.C., but this one stands out. We were already fans of Grazie Grazie and were excited to try this sit-down concept. We started with the Il Greco and Crispy Fingerlings, then moved on to the Alfredo and Sunday Sauce as entrees. The appetizers were a slight step above the entrees -- the potatoes in particular were excellent. Portions were larger than expected; we each had enough for a couple of meals. Sean took great care of our table. Dessert was very good as well (menu not available online). We're looking forward to returning to try their other menus, particularly happy hour.

Found it to be a bit louder than I would've liked but I think it was because of the spacing between tables. Came toward the end of the night and got seated and welcomed right away. I ordered the polpette, meatballs to start. They were quite tasty, but the sauce was a bit watery. Think that's just because the meatballs themselves were pretty juicy. Heard the focaccia was a hit, so asked for some of that. I was told they didn't have any left. Which was weird, because then another server came and asked if I wanted bread. I'm glad I said yes because the focaccia is very fresh and was a great addition to the meal. For my main, I ordered the vodka pasta, which was very flavorful and very saucy. I love a good, thick vodka sauce and that's what you'll get here. The one part of the pasta I didn't really enjoy was the chicken inside the pasta. I think I would've preferred a grilled chicken option instead of the chicken that comes in the pasta. That being said, this place is a gem. The prices are great and the portions are hearty. Not saying that dining companions are distracting, but I felt like I could fully experience the flavor of both the Taglioni Neri and Gnocchi, both half portions at $10 each, better on my own. When the dishes came, I saw that the sauces were both red and feared they would taste too similar. After one fork full of each, they are quite clearly distinct. The standout in the Neri were the shellfish for me. Even though they were small bits, the pieces tasted fresh. In the Gnocchi, the saltiness of the prosciutto, though not overwhelming, paired well with the basil sauce. I finished a little more than half of each plate before boxing it up for a small lunch the next day. The service was great and the tall ceiling and windowed dining room provided a nice atmosphere. It was a cloudy and rainy Memorial Day, but I wondered what the sunlight looked like shining through those high windows. How lovely a space they have created to enjoy fine Italian dining in.

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.
