I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the service performed on my 2023 Lexus ES 350…read moreat your Mavis location. I brought my vehicle to your facility to have the tires serviced/replaced. After the service was completed, I discovered that all four of my Lexus wheels/rims had been scratched and damaged. The attached photographs clearly document the condition of the wheels after your employees performed the service. The scratches and damage are visible around the wheel surfaces, including the areas around the Lexus center caps and the edges of the wheels. What is particularly concerning is that one of your employees attempted to use a marker pen to color over the scratches rather than properly reporting the damage and taking responsibility for it. This is completely unacceptable. A marker is not an appropriate repair for damage to a customer's wheels, and attempting to cover the damage makes the situation even more concerning. I was also told by another employee that because I purchased the tires from Mavis at a lower price than I would have paid at a Lexus dealership, I should simply accept the condition of my wheels. I find this response extremely inappropriate. The price of the tires has nothing to do with the responsibility to properly protect a customer's vehicle and property. Whether I purchase tires from Mavis, a Lexus dealership, or another retailer, I have the right to expect my vehicle to be handled with reasonable care and professionalism. I am also very disappointed with the difficulty I have experienced trying to communicate with the manager. It has been extremely difficult to reach the manager, and I have only been able to communicate with the manager on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. This has made it unnecessarily difficult to resolve a problem that should have been addressed immediately. The condition of my wheels indicates that the employees did not take sufficient care when performing the service. Customers should not have to accept damage to their vehicles simply because they chose to purchase tires from Mavis. I have attached photographs documenting the condition of my wheels as evidence. These photographs show the damage that I discovered following the service. I am requesting that Mavis: 1. Take responsibility for the damage to all four Lexus wheels/rims. 2. Have the wheels professionally inspected by a qualified wheel repair specialist. 3. Provide a proper repair or replacement solution that restores the wheels to their original condition. 4. Provide a written explanation of how Mavis intends to resolve this matter. 5. Review the conduct and handling of this situation by the employees involved. I am not asking for special treatment. I am simply asking Mavis to take responsibility for damage to my property that occurred while my vehicle was in your facility. I hope Mavis will take this complaint seriously and resolve the matter promptly and professionally. I would prefer to resolve this directly with management. However, if the matter is not addressed appropriately, I will consider pursuing other available options to protect my rights and recover the cost of repairing the damage. I am extremely frustrated and exhausted from having to repeatedly travel to Mavis, only to leave without any meaningful resolution to this issue. I have already spent my time and effort trying to resolve this matter directly with Mavis. I also contacted Mr. Tire, but unfortunately, I was not able to get any satisfactory assistance or resolution there either. At this point, I do not want to continue going back and forth between different locations or departments without receiving a clear solution. I am asking you to send me a written response explaining how you intend to resolve this matter satisfactorily. The service I received was extremely poor, and the way my vehicle and property were handled was unacceptable. The heat shield was rattling a lot, so they clamped that down but I was looking at a few thousand dollars in repairs. Their suggestion was to start shopping for a new car as mine is 12 years old. The thing is that I'm not ready to part with her. No new car currently on the market stirs the same passion in me the way my current car does. I took my daughter's car here for an electrical issue at 8am on a Tuesday. We didn't hear from them till we called at 2pm to see if there was an update. They said there were no issues with the car and we could come pick it up. We said we wanted to leave it there overnight to make sure the issue didn't resurface, as my daughter needs the car to drive to work and I we don't want her to get stranded. No call the next morning. We called at 11am to see if it was still fine. They hadn't looked at it yet and said they would look at it now. No return call again. We called at 1pm and they said we needed an NEW ENGINE! No, not engine but a new "motor". We asked for an explanation. These are the reasons they provided. 1. They said we had no oil in the car. - My husband has been changing the oil in the car for the last 6 years. My daughter checked the oil last week. There was oil in the car. The car has NEVER not had oil. 2. There was a valve cover leak. - News to us. This was not an issue before we came here. We have never had visible oil around the oil cover. 3. A cylinder is misfiring. - This is a sign that a spark plug or the coil needs to be replaced. I don't know if they thought we didn't know anything about cars because we are women but they are definitely wrong. We immediately went up there to pick up the car. The car was still in the garage with the hood up. There was a large blue oil drain in front of our car that was supposed to bone dry. We drove away and there was a cloud of white smoke. What the heck! We came there was an electrical issue. The car has NEVER had this issue. We pulled over and drove in my car to the auto part store to pick up a quart of oil. No issues after to put oil in the car. I ran a diagnostic on the car because we have a micro mechanic diagnostic reader. NOW the car reads that there cylinder 1 is misfiring. Luckily we know how to change spark plugs and coils. After we fix the damage they did to the car, we're taking it to Hyundai to finally get the electrical looked at. A wait of money and two days of time. We are out $80 for their mandatory diagnostic fee, Vo didn't have this, the price of an emergency quart of oil and the spark plug or oil after we perform the test to see which one is having the issue. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! DO NOT GO HERE!

He never fixed what was not necessary to fix at the time and would give us a priority list with low pricing that was always honored, of what we needed to pay attention to and when we needed to bring it in for that service. He never took advantage and would even let us get our own parts without the markup and install them for labor only. He was a very fair man and will liked. I miss him greatly. I give Mr Vo 5 stars. The new guys, maybe 2 stars. I believe they have much to learn about customer service. They just don't have the passion for it that he had.
