They need an entire new staff, I pulled up to get an oil change, one guy was just sitting in his car didn't ask if I needed help, another guy was just sitting in the corner on a chair and called someone else to come help me, that guy said he wasn't and didn't and then another guy pulled up with his girlfriend or a female in his car smoking weed, chatting with the other guys that wouldn't help me. and. smoking. Then he gets out of the car with a TV and game system and walks into a room. I pulled out and sat in the parking lot just to observe and they didn't help any car while I was there. at least 4 other cars came by and no one would help anybody. Then later because I sat out there for over an hour cars started coming in and they did start helping, so I got back in line and they finally serviced me. I went in for an oil change. Free car wash is a nice touch, and the interior cleaned was nice as well. Unexpected, and overall the experience while there was excellent. The problem was the work done on the car. They recommended replacing the engine air filter. I agreed. While driving home I noticed that the engine was not as responsive as it had been prior to the oil change. It felt sluggish. When I got home, I opened the hood to find that the engine air system tube leading to the filter had not been reattached properly. Upon further inspection I concluded that they had broken the plastic snap on part of the tube where it connects to the filter housing. The engine was not getting enough air. Furthermore, they failed to clean out the air filter housing. A fresh new engine air filter sitting on top of dirt and leaves... The car wash and detail was a nice touch, but I really don't care if my car is perfectly clean, I care about getting my oil changed and my car worked on properly and intelligently. Either admit you broke the part and pay to fix it, or at least let me know that a part is broken and needs repair so that I don't put extra stress on my engine. Based on the way the car drove after their work, I'm confident they broke it and didn't tell me. I saw the broken plastic piece still in the engine compartment below the filter housing. The whole place reminded me of a drive thru fast food joint where they care more about speed than accuracy or client care. The folks doing the cleaning work seemed nice and careful. But based on this experience, I don't think I will be back. read more

I just went to this neighborhood jiffy lube where the gentleman in charge REFUSED to acknowledge that they had jammed my seat back so far that it got stuck and took another 30 minutes to unjam (with my help by the way --me pushing the car seat up when the man with the screwdriver unbending the seat track saying "push now"---). They asked me if it had ever been broken. Not until I went there. They fixed it and acted as though this inconvenience was no big deal. Horrible horrible customer service in my opinion. The gentleman actually tried to tell me that the seat had never been jammed and when I asked if he thought I stood out there waiting for no reason he couldn't reply. Ludicrous. Don't go there. I came in for an oil change, and Dontavious was very helpful! Jiffy Lube has a small waiting area as always, but he mentioned a Starbucks within walking distance. When I returned from my coffee run my oil change was complete, they had vacuumed my whole car, and added air to my tire! Came to jiffy lube for and oil change and tire rotation. They didn't have the filter for my car so sent to another store for it. In the meantime NO WORK was done. They couldn't do the tire rotation while waiting for the air filter?? It was ridiculous. I've been here almost an hour and nothing has been done! We asked why nothing else was done while we were waiting. They tried to tell us they already rotated the tired. We were watching and THEY DID NOT! Now we are waiting for that. Friendly staff to be sure which is always nice. This particular location never seems to be too busy as it is tucked away a bit so I have never waited. The only catch in this particular visit was that I drive a stick - and after I parked and made my way to the waiting area I was approached by an employee who asked if I could pull the car in, since not a single person on there could drive a stick. My Goodness, you're in the automotive repair and maintenance business and nobody in a staff of 5 knows how to drive stick? Pretty intriguing, and honestly a tad nerve-wracking after one of the employees said "just be super careful to drive straight because if you get stuck we're in big trouble." This place does its job, gets you in and out with an oil change. I used a Groupon for my oil change and paid nothing more at the store. My only complaint is the state of the actual building. The waiting room is in need of some serious TLC, with empty drinks on the counter and when I walked in, a man was laying on the bathroom floor trying to fix the toilet seat. It is a unisex bathroom, by the way. There is a soda vending machine. The workers are friendly enough, they do try to up sell you on extra services but aren't too pushy. I went on a weekday lunch time which wasn't too busy which is good because there are only five chairs in the waiting area. Also- super weird but after I pulled out, I checked my clock and it was changed to an hour ahead.. what the?! read more

I just recently moved back to the Atlanta area and I was a little hesitant about having to take my car in for an oil change. First of all, I have boobs, which means many a mechanic has tried overlook my intelligence and hope for naïveté instead. Secondly, they always, always try to talk me into some air filter I don't need - it doesn't matter where I go (and unbeknownst to them, my father owns a garage and has worked on cars all his life so I've learned a thing or two...) Needless to say, I put off getting an oil change when I moved here. I'd pass by this Jiffy Lube all the time and mentally note that I needed to bring my car in. I finally bit the bullet - and was so pleased. I pulled in on a weekday at 5:30 and was greeted by a very friendly staff. I had both an oil change and transmission flush done, which I was scheduled for, and I was out of there in record time even though they had two other cars there. And the best part? They didn't try to offer/upgrade/sell a single thing. They also gave me a coupon book full of lots of savings for the future. It was a really good experience. They even show you the new one that they put in, so you know they're not just showing you and then not actually replacing it. There's a check-in special with foursquare for free RainX treatment (which helps you get away with some age on the wiper blades). Lately, I can't escape JL without paying $100. My car does have almost 100,000 miles on it, so I opt for the high mileage oil. Even with the coupon book of discounts, even with the technicians offering discounts, it adds up. I've been tempted to go elsewhere, but they've sucked me in with their record keeping of how long it's been since I've had certain services (wiper blades, air filters, tire rotations, etc). read more

I have been here many times for routine oil changes with nothing to complain about. but one day my a/c stopped blowing cold air, so I brought it in and they said my a/c need to be recharged. when I asked how much it would cost, they said $125... or $75 cash... Sketchy. well I had them recharge the A/C anyway, and about $125 later (I didn't have cash on me!) I got my car, and the a/c worked for the ride home... but that's it! So I took it to goodyear down the street to get their opinion. they said I had a bad relay and needed MORE freon. when I got my car back from them, everything worked fine. needless to say, next time I will skip the middle man and go straight to goodyear. read more

Second time this happened - they left oil stains all over the inside driver side door arm rest/handle, steering wheel, and door panel. This time, I made it a point to find out who did it and demanded they clean it - the culprit was a short, thin aa gentleman. The manager made him come out and clean it. After I got back into my car, it was barely wiped off. I went back in and the manager himself came out this time who apologized (even though it wasn't his fault), thoroughly wiped it clean, and even offered to personally pay for a car detailing. The manager is an outstanding professional. The checkout lady was also fine - professional, courteous, fast, accurate. The oil change guy should be fired. The problem is that I cannot trust that the oil change guy did a legit job. I had to separately check to make sure the oil and filter were actually changed and I didn't get scammed. I also had to check the bolt to make sure it wasn't stripped or messed with. Also had to make sure there wasn't anything dripping or leaking afterwards. Can never go back after this despite how good the manager is. Too bad he has that negligent employee which makes it impossible to trust the place anymore. The general manager is not a very nice person to deal with whatsoever I previously came to this location, not even two months ago, where he gave me a coupon book then when I tried to use a coupon out of the book this time he told me that I couldn't because the price had "" just changed. I went into jiffy lube to get an oil change and tire rotation. The guy stripped my bolt then began yelling and saying awful things when I returned to report the damages I was called a liar. As a woman and a customer I have never felt so disrespected in a place of business in my life. I was flushed out and cussed out and told the police would be called on me. Fearing for my own safety I felt it best for me to walk inside the building and ask the receptionist for the phone number to the headquarters. First of all I think the prices are outrageous for what you get but I pay it because it's convenient, quick & friendly service. I recently brought my car to my mechanic (who I trust & have gone to for 5 year) to have some major work done & he told me that my oil filter hadn't been changed in a while. Scammers!!!! Just recently had my emissions done. When I arrived I also asked to get my tire pressure checked (warning light was on) and get fluids topped off which is included when you have gotten an oil change at this location before. The guy looks at me annoyed and asks if I wanted fries with all that. Seriously? The front desk staff is always overly nice, I'm starting to think that's there way of distracting people from their mechanics NOT doing what you're being charged for. When my car was ready, the warning light for tire pressure was still on. I was told it would turn off after about 15 miles. FALSE. 25 miles later it was still on. I could also tell just by looking at my tires that one of them was pretty flat. I filled it with air at the next gas station ad the light turned off almost immediately. Fluids of course were also not topped off. I ran out of wiper fluid about 2 weeks later which, when full lasts for several months. This place is nothing but way overprices and a bunch of scammers that will glady take your money for not doing what you asked for. read more

Because of the convenience, this is the first time I went to a Jiffy Lube. They were busy at the time, but it was a reasonable wait. My car requires full synthetic 0-20, so it cost $69 to change after the $10 coupon. This is inline with the mechanic that usually tends to my vehicles. The problem I experienced is that after the oil change, my car was reporting 23 - 24 mpg, when it should be around 26 - 27 mpg. I was getting less mpg now than before I took my car in for the oil change. I question if the right oil type was used, which is indicated on the oil cap. I'll go back to my regular mechanic or better yet take the time to do this myself. read more

Wish I would have read the other reviews before I went to this Jiffy Lube. Our 2012 Buick has never had a problem and has low miles. We were in a crunch and tried this place. After getting our oil change, with the recommended synthetic, or at least that was what I was charged for, we now have a leak. Showed up hours on our garage floor and has been dripping ever since. Called them and they said it was likely due to the oil pan not being wiped down. Then took in a week later and said it was still leaking and they swore there was no leak. Well got pictures to share and after 2 weeks, yep you guessed it still leaking. Sounds like from the other posts I am not dealing with honest and straight forward carbon fiber beings so the least I can do is let you know my experience. Worst part is the time I have wasted trying to get a simple oil change and now have to deal with taking it back in for someone to likely make sure the filter or some screw was tightened correctly. read more
