Nightmare Experience at Xpress Oil Change My wife took our car to Xpress Oil Change for brake repair. After four hours, they informed her they couldn't complete the job due to missing parts. She requested them to undo whatever work had been done so she could leave, as she needed to pick up our daughter. When she returned to pick up the car, the brakes were still noisy, and all the dashboard lights were on. She did accident because she couldn't stop the car. My Husband recently dropped off our van off to get an oil valve replaced and when he picked it up, it wasn't shifting properly. The van sounded terrible! We took it to Honda Carland and they discovered the transmission harness had been left unplugged. This IS NOT something that just happens, it has to be deliberately unplugged. We have contacted express multiple times to try to get refunded for this job we had to pay for 2X and have received no response. BUYER BEWARE! Unscrupulous management, incompetent mechanics, be very careful if you have a luxury car. They don't know what they're doing. They Tripped the "check engine light " and could not turn it off after service. (this happens all the time with Audi's. And it's easily remedied in the right hands ). I brought it back multiple times trying to get them to fix what they had broken. Manager was completely unwilling to take any level of responsibility. Thus had to bring it to the Audi dealership to determine (by REAL certified mechanics) THEY did not replace the oil cap properly, causing the sensor to go off. (Which is precisely what I told them would happen before, during, an after service ) which COST ME $218. I Went back in person with the report in hand, and management still wouldn't take responsibility for THEIR errors whatsoever. You can do better. But not there!! read more

I went there a couple of weeks ago to get an oil change because I was going out of town. I was driving to Las Vegas. Now I don't know too much about cars or getting an oil change this was my first time getting a car. I just turned 18 bought my own car and this was my first oil change. Everything went pretty fine. He changed my oil and I went about my day and then a couple days later I have went on my trip to Vegas everything was going pretty fine for about a good 12 hours until I had to drive up the hills and my car started smoking and I had to call a tow truck and it was just a whole process come to find out the guy who was changing my oil didn't put the filter in so all of my oil just leaked out going up those heels and it messed my car up so bad I need a whole new engine. And I don't know if he just did this to me because he can tell I wasn't familiar with cars like I said this was my first car and oil change and this was the worst experience ever. Now I am carless. And have to buy a whole new engine. Definitely wouldn't recommend coming here they obviously don't know what they're doing. read more

Didn't fully get the old oil out with the vacuum method. Then over filled with the new oil since there was still old oil in the engine. Drained again. This time from below. Then under filled the oil and had to go back to add more. Got oil on the engine so now my car smells like burning oil. Said they would email me a receipt. Never got it. Won't go back. read more

I visited the Ragsdale location in Woodstock. I go there all the time and everyone that works there is wonderful. They are fast and I've never had a problem with any work they've done. The fact that they will provide free services like changing a headlight or checking your tire pressure is really appreciated. I was there recently and Adam was terrific. He pushed my front bumper back into place where it had gotten misaligned from a minor accident. As long as they keep up the great service, I'll keep going here. read more

Been going for years but today was the best visit yet. 10-10-2024 Was immediately welcomed by Aaron who took care of me till the end. He was polite, respectful, informative and thorough. He recommended some additional items over and above my oil change, but wasn't pushy like other places. I ended up replacing my windshield wipers. Express Oil Change on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell has been my go to auto service provider for both of my cars for many years. This time of year I take both cars for their annual emission inspections. Brian, the assistant manager does a great job, but this year I also asked him about installing a cabin air filter that I purchase on line. I went here for an oil change (instead of my usual mechanic) since it's on my way home from work. I didn't realize until it was too late that Express Oil Change overtightened the oil filter cap with a wrench or some other tool (should be tightened by hand), so when I took my car to my usual mechanic for my next oil change, they couldn't get the cap off. I had to replace the whole oil filter housing ($70). I'm not sure how a place that specializes in oil changes can mess up an oil change. Don't take your car here unless you want to pay extra money to repair the damage they cause. read more

Went there this morning concern that my battery might be dying or a bad alternator and needed an oil change. The gentleman there said no problem he can do both. He directed into the bay, proceeded with the oil change and diagnose the problem as a bad battery. Told me it was the battery and he had one on site. Quoted the price, I gave him the ok. They also added water fluid for my windshield and checked my tires and added air pressure where needed. Took less than a 1/2 hour. I always go here for an oil change and the crew there is always professional and polite. I use to dread getting an oil change but the folks here make it an enjoyable experience. I stopped by on a Thursday morning around 8:30-9am. I was greeted immediately and serviced immediately. Was given a full safety inspection including blinkers, lights, high beams and horn. I noticed they even filled the air in my tires. The fella who helped me out gave me a coupon for my next oil change, too. I wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars. My 2019 Rav 4 engine was over heating and this location was close by so I found a way to safely make it. These guys immediately helped me, looked at my car and told me what I needed to do. The issue with my car was not something they could help me with but these guys helped me take a picture of the issue without hesitation. theu literally made zero dollars off of helping me! Great customer service, fast oil changes, total car care. I highly recommend this place as the best place to take any vehicle. If you're only getting your oil changed, you don't even have to get out of your car. Go early, though, because this is a popular place. Prices are reasonable. Ask for Jason. I've come here for a few years for standard oil changes and the occasional additional service. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and the price is always consistently reasonable. Recently though I had an issue with my windshield wiper fluid not dispensing and a smell of gas while driving. I took my car to them in the late morning, and in a couple hours they gave me a call and told me they'd fixed my windshield wiper and checked everything they could for the fuel smell but couldn't find anything. when I came to pick up my car I expected to pay for their service, but the mechanic said that since it was only my hose for my wiper that was disconnected that I didn't need to worry about it. I really appreciate how honest and efficient the team here is! I definitely intend to continue as a happy customer! read more

They have always been courteous and efficient. No pressure, nice shop. Unfortunately, my tires were out of balance and I couldn't put it off any longer. Given we are in a Pandemic and knowing the shop is typically busy and the lot adjoining with Enterprise is usually busy - I knew social distancing would be an issue. I went to this shop (express oil change on Holcomb Bridge) for a wheel bearing replacement. First I was charged $20 to diagnose the problem. The mechanic Brendan claimed it was wheel bearings so I trusted him. He told me he couldn't do the work that day but to bring back next day so that's what I did. Since I decided to have the work done there I thought they would credit $20 towards the work which I know they do but I guess it depends on who you get and if they want to do it. He charged me $500 for the work which I'm now realizing is overpriced for a Honda accord crosstour. I can't in good conscious recommend this shop to anyone for any service especially if you are a female going in by yourself. Also when I called to talk about the overpriced rate I spoke with Trey assistant manager who was rude. I also had another rude encounter with him when I got a $105 synthetic oil change. In 1 month $605.00 later I'm good. You won't see me again until you get honest, trustworthy, and respectful mechanics. read more
