We had a great time here. I would definitely recommend for place to have a good time with friends.

This experience was so much fun. I recommended if you are looking for a new and unique idea for your group. We were able to choose five game shows, we got an hour to play and we were broken up into two teams. We got a real live game show host who was awesome, the room felt like a real game show set, and the games were fun yet challenging. You are allowed to take as many photos and videos as you'd like and the game show also takes video of your experience!

This was the best time ever!!! So much fun! Celebrating a birthday here with a group of 11, and we had fun! The staff was awesome! So happy and helpful! Our game show host, Anthony was awesome!

Came in during the soft launch with a preview special. The check in process was seamless and the staff were warm and welcoming. There are supposed to be 2 game options but for the purpose of the soft launch we were introduced to a general game show experience. Each game room can host up to 14 players, who are divided into 2 teams. The game show is also led by a host which kept our group engaged and moved the games along at a good pace. The games were a wide range including block building, trivia and plinko-esque. The Oakbrook mall area has multiple gaming options and this one is a welcome addition as it offers something a bit different than the others. The regular price is $40 pp which is about the going rate in the area for an hr of entertainment. Through the opening weekend/holiday, they are running a gift card special of $100/4 players which could be a great stocking stuffer. Overall, I would recommend this for a fun night with a group of friends/family.

From the moment we entered the studio, the energy was pumping. There was an introduction like we were actually on a television show! Our host, Mike, was witty, steady, and gracefully lead us from start to finish through everything. We had high school students through great grandma and everyone was able to participate! I won't give away any surprises, but there is a good mix of physical challenges, trivia, and luck based games. It was one of the fastest hours of my life. I would definitely go back again!

This is our tied score with the other team.

We went here yesterday for our 1st annual offsite department outting. It was a total of 18. We were separated into 4 groups. Everyone was so nice from the host Sam and the young man that explained everything. I was the captain for our team. We started our competition in Studio A. Our host was Abby. She was so cool and explained everything. We were Red Team. We played a couple of games one was Elementary Game [1st-5th] which was a trivia. But the last game we played in this room. Both teams were tied blue team 2750 red team 2750. So we had to toss the dice. That team will win. We won and we decided to move to the next room. Studio B. The host in this room was Sophia. She also did an amazing job explaining everything. In this room we were the Blue team . We won in this room. The games were so cool. Here's a picture the host for Studio B which is Sophia. 1st picture tied score, this jumbo dice[we were the red dice]. 2nd picture was our final score. The last picture was with the host Sophia. Both hostress were so amazing that I will be returning.

What a fun place! Went here with a group of 6 and we played various games that reminded me of the Price Is Right and every typical game show game. My favorite part was spinning the wheel and seeing how many points I could rack up. The host of my game was lovely, and she made sure to know all of our names and our hobbies. Overall lovely atmosphere and would come here again with family.

I was here on Good Friday since I had the day off. I made my gaming partner go early because those times were discounted and boy, am I glad I did! By the time our 90 minutes were up, the place was getting PACKED. It made my heart happy to see so many families doing something active and together! Like I stated before, I have been coming since it opened, and I appreciated in this visit that the instruction screens were updated, some of the rooms that we not working on my previous version were up and running again, etc. I also appreciate an upgrade to their reward system! Before, they used to hand you items (a water bottle, a basketball, etc.), but now you earn coins and can "spend" them on the items of your choice. I prefer that so I can pick items that I will actually use! (The aforementioned water bottle and basketball were donated to my local charity shop.) I chose a personal bracelet that Activate uses to track your time and points while you are actively participating in the games. The facilities have bathrooms, access to clean drinking water, free lockers to protect your belongings, etc. This time, too, I wore my fitness tracker for kicks and giggles and I burned almost 500 calories in 90 minutes of fun. I wish they offered a summer pass or a monthly pass like other entertainment options in the suburbs.

There are free lockers to put your belongings as well as a free coat check. There are restrooms and a water fountain in the very back. There is a lounge area that is used for private parties but you can also just sit in there. You can watch other people play on the big screen. I recommend wearing casual or active attire because you'll get a workout for sure Each game room has a variety of levels and different types of games within that room. The cost per person is cheaper Mon - Thurs. $20.99 for 60 mins. $26.99 for 90 mins. Fri - Sun it's $26.99 for 60 mins and $38.99 for 90 mins. For Mondays and holidays, it's best to check back because the prices do change. I highly recommend booking on the website instead of blindly going there. The slots fill up fast. The games are short so you don't have to wait long to go into that room. The room types are arena, climb, grid, hoops, mega laser, hide, control, mega grid, strike, portals, and press. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There's no issue with finding parking.

We ended up dividing the 90 minutes into (3) 30 minute games so our groups could keep rotating. They have lockers to lock belongings in, rooms can host up to 6 people and have options to order simple beverages while you play. Our first game was Box Party which is their version of a Mario Party. There are a couple of mini game options as you work through the map. This by far was our group's favorite game! We chose the 30 minute game but easily could have played it for the full 90 minutes. Our second game was Floor is Lava. This one was fun but a bit harder than I was expecting it to be. There are parts where you bump into other players so I recommend playing with good friends or family. This is more of a group task game. Our third game was Angry Birds. This overall was the group's least favorite as it wasn't very physical. The game takes on the classic idea of launching birds at towers to get points. This was more individual tasks than team tasks. Overall, this was such a fun experience! They offer games for any aged guest and for any comfort level of players together. I enjoyed having the personalization of our "meeps" to play in each game too.

I won't ruin it, but I will say it was definitely fun and there was some intensity to it. While it utilized VR headsets, tt definitely was not a full VR experience. You interact with the game on the walls. There was an option to purchase beverages during the experience which we did not do. After the ad popped up a few times it got to be a little annoying. It was just the two of us so we were able to do each game repeatedly, which made it even more fun because it allowed us to figure out how to solve the puzzles. Because of that I wouldn't suggest going with more than four or five people. Overall, I would say it was worth the trip to Oakbrook.

We played the zombie game first and then the squid game. It's a bit exhausting but trust me. It is so much fun no matter what age group you are. You're gonna have a lot of fun The best part was the VR experience where your team members/people who are playing with you they are in the costumes not really, but as per the VR. The staff was very helpful. There are a lot of games to play since we chose zombie and squid game we just had blast So playing for almost hour and a half even though we were very tired and exhausted we still didn't feel like leaving the room. We enjoyed holding the guns and shooting at the zombies and the squid game is more like competing against each other. I highly recommend this place and would recommend at least 5 to 6 people in a group cause it's more fun when there are more people and maximum they hold in a room is six people. So minimum two and maximum six I would recommend going there over the weekdays if possible for two reasons 1. Weekday the price is a bit cheaper like five bucks cheaper. 2. It's gonna be less busy on the weekdays. All the staff members, including Matthew, Zee and Robin were really nice and helpful. Definitely a must place for everyone to go and try this at least one time.
