I am 42 and received the absolute worst haircut I've ever had. I came in as a walk-in and saw Sylvia. (I think, based on the certificate on the wall). She was less than kind, did not even spray my hair down to get it wet before starting to dry cut it and gave me a face frame that I did not ask for. Told me that I could not have layers with my type of hair. When I left, I had to brush my hair for five minutes in the parking lot to get all of the excess cut pieces out. She never brushed my hair. I had to go elsewhere to get my hair fixed because it was completely uneven, way longer on the right than the left. And when you look at the back of the hair, it was uneven and extremely choppy. I asked for her to thin the hair in the beginning, wish I hadn't, and she just took the thinning shears and randomly chopped at my hair. She did not check The length when she was done cutting my hair, nothing was right. I question if she even actually has a license. It basically looked like I had a super crappy Bob with a chopped face frame . Awful.. had to choose at least 1 star... I truly give 0 read more

I needed to get my hair cut on the 10/29/2022. I stopped by to get my hair cut. I schedule an appointment and was able to get my hair cut after 20 minutes. Well, I got my hair cut, not the best way, but still cut. Right? Luckily, it will grow back quickly! My hairdresser who was woman did a very poor job addressing my concerns. She told me that I had curly hair and that everything will be alright after washing my hair. So, I washed my hair and it is not alright. Not very happy with the experience. I wasted $20. When this place initially opened, the environment was friendly, and the stylists always made sure my trim was straight and even. They consistently put forth obvious effort to do their job well. Lately, when you arrive at the salon, none of the stylists even look up. If you wait long enough, someone will eventually check you in. I have tried going at off-hours, and different days of the week, but it doesn't make a difference. Located next door to Costco, it is consistently busy. During my recent visit, the stylist did not bother to pin up, or partition sections of my long hair as he cut - he simply took a pair of scissors and chopped at the ends of my hair. Five minutes later he sent me on my way with an embarrasing hack job that will only be repaired with time - and an appointment elsewhere. read more

I have been to quite a few salons including a few high end salons. I have had the best hair cuts from Sebastian period. He is an exceptional stylist! I call to see what his schedule is so that I can go in and wait to have my hair cut. I have had several others at this location cut my hair and most were not very good unfortunately. Once I knew I could ask and have my hair cut by Sebastian I continued to get my hair cut at this location. I am saddened as today I called to see what his schedule was and was told he no longer works there and did not know where he went. Go see Sebastian - he's amazing and worked so hard to make sure I got the perfect trim, without losing any length. He also had some great suggestions for bangs - but I was too scared to take them on :) I appreciated that he showed me how my bangs would look before he actually cut anything. Also $13 for a haircut is a great deal! That's how much tip would be here in DC! I'll certainly be back next time I'm in the area. read more

I do not get my hair cut very often. In fact I am one of those people who generally does not like getting their hair cut. I am glad I visited this Great Clips located next to the post office in the Bloomfield Town Square Shopping Center. . There were only two stylists on duty but both were very helpful and hardworking. Luckily I did not have to wait at all! I brought some pictures of what I wanted and the stylist cut my hair exactly the way I wanted and also gave me some styling tips. They have styling products for sale but are not pushy about selling. The salon and the restroom were very clean. I was very impressed! Great listeners and they go above and beyond to make the customer feel valued. I chose this place because I had a coupon from the back of the Kroger receipt. If you go to their website greatclips.com you can get coupons too! . If you donate 10 inches or more of your hair your haircut is completely free and they will send your hair to locks of love for you if you want. They accept walk-ins. No appointement needed. I got a haircut by Rafi who is nice person but a TERRIBLE barber. I hate to exaggerate but it was the WORST HAIRCUT I have ever got in my life. I dont know if he's just filling in for someone there or what, but he sure needs to find another profession. He completely ruined my hair before my sister's wedding and I am to blame to let him try to "fix" it. I have got many haircuts at Great Clips and Super Cuts before, I understand that I'm not exactly getting professional hair stylist for 15 dollars/cut, but this guy was on a different level. just terrible!! read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Ive should of known better not to go here. The lady named Kathy was very rude and was insisting that I had no idea when to get my hair cut (it's my hair lady I know when to get it cut). Secondly Kathy had endless complaints about how my hair cut would be better if I had no gel in it. I can agree with that statement but, I told her that I just came from work and had no time to go home to shower first. Then she told me that I should of planned the haircut appointment better. I told her it was fine if she were to wash it but she never did. Kathy works Sundays and Monday's. A hairstylist that doesn't work full time as a hairstylist, I would not recommend getting haircut from (I asked what days she worked after the haircut). read more

I went here because the Great Clips app said it was closest. I did not know of Sebastian's reputation until after coming to Yelp afterwards, but he did a great job on my hair. He was quick and efficient, but also very detail-oriented. One of the best cuts I have had. read more
