Sammy took very good care of my guest. She fixed a bad cut. She was very patient and helpful. There was no wait and parking was tricky because the lot was filled with people parked on the side and in front of the stores. Had to park opposite of where the store was or be blocked in. Let's talk about the fact that you have to give your full name, phone number and address to get a haircut for 10 minute haircut. That's what you need to do and they think it's okay to take all your information and if you say no, they don't want to cut your hair. I was immediately waited on as soon as I walked in the door. One lady helped me with the 'check-in' process. Then, my hairdresser, Sarah, continued the process. Because it was not crowded Sarah was able to take me straight back to her chair. She did an excellent job on my haircut and was friendly and outgoing as well. I keep going back, but that quality sucks. Nobody listens to what you want done with your hair. They didn't even know what layers are? They cut my son's hair uneven and didn't even ask if it was okay. I would up going home to fix my son's hair to make it even. (I'm not a stylist.) Then proceeded to put layers in my own hair. I have heard horror stories about "clip joints" and the Yelp reviews here aren't good at all. But I didn't read the reviews before I walked into my 1st ever clip joint this past week. Samantha was my stylist here at Great Clips. I'd had a cut elsewhere about a year ago and that stylist butchered my hair... I had to let it grow out to get it fixed. As soon as I took my hair down Samantha said "OMG". She saw the problem right away, knew exactly what the previous stylist had done wrong and she knew how to fix it. She explained what she was doing as she was doing it which I appreciated. Samantha gave me a GREAT cut. It's blended beautifully. My curls are happy. As am I. And you simply cannot beat the price. I will be back in a few months to see Samantha for a trim. In the meantime, in the chair next to me I saw several male clients come and go and that stylist gave them all great looking cuts as well. The salon was clean. The staff was all very friendly. Plenty of parking. Great, convenient location. read more

There were quite a few guys waiting which was find. A younger female stylist came out and asked who was next. A number of guys ahead of me passed on her until it was finally my turn. After the hair cut I understood way. It was the worst haircut I have had in quite awhile. I guess the moral of the story was that I should have taken a cue of the rest of the guys who were passing on her waiting for one of the other stylist. I won't go back. read more

I was a little skeptical about coming in because of the rep people give Great Clips, but when I checked online I saw there was no wait so I went ahead and checked myself in for a spot in line. I came in and was greeted, then immediately taken back to a chair. The stylist did an AMAZING job with my hair. She took about 3-4 inches off and did it in less than 20 minutes. I feel so much more confident about myself now. She was very friendly and I'll definitely be going back for her services! All the staff seemed extremely friendly as well. Over all a 10/10 experience! We've been coming here for some time and you can ask for a specific person we called before we came and were told that the person was here until 3 o'clock. We got here after we had signed in on line and specifically ask for her on the sign in. When we got here we were told she had just left, no explanation her name was Misty. I went by here last Saturday and I was mortified by the way I was treated. The hair stylist was a man and I don't remember his name but he made sure to repeatedly tell me how pretty I must of looked when I was by younger and how he doesn't like my hairstyle and how I wasn't pretty. I made known how I liked how my hair was and didn't want to change it but he continued to tell me how I was not attractive now but must have been when I was younger and kept trying to change what I wanted with my hair. I could not believe the way I was spoken to and the way he just kept on and on about it. This was just the experience I had and do not plan on going back. I wish I had read reviews before going here. I have been in the past and I'll admit it is "hit and miss". I do not like having a different perso to cut my hair every time. I do not know this for a fact, but I wonder if they just hire people straight out of "school". I had been working towards getting my hair all one length. I asked for a stacked cut in the back. Instead, I got "over the top layerings". What are you suppose to do? Yell, what are you doing? Once you are in the chair, you have no control. I doubt I will be back. Unless you want a butchered buzz cut, I strongly recommend to spend time finding someone else to cut your hair. read more

I had been going to this location for the past 20 years and for the past year & a half, I asked for Tiffany ever since the first time she had cut my hair. However, with each passing, her services along with her demeanor got worse and worse. Nonetheless, I still retained her for her skills, which I would tweak w/ some constructive criticism from time-to-time, all the while ignoring everything else. However, during my last visit, she messed up badly! Instead of taking responsibility for her mistake, she turned it back on me for not properly communicating my instructions to her. She told me that I hadn't found the right haircut and that I am more than welcome to try somebody else. I was taken aback by the comment and found it strange for her to say that, since I wouldn't be asking for her if I hadn't found my haircut. Obviously, I saw some potential in her and wanted to retain the consistency of my haircut by critiquing her work constructively w/ some minor tweaks in between. However, despite tipping her throughout (which is not necessary), she lacked the manners/courtesy of affording me proper consideration. Instead of owning up to her mistake, she blamed me for the mishap (which I still paid and tipped for). Maybe, hair-cutting is not her thing and she should stick to art. This is probably the last time I will ever come to this location, let alone great clips! They can't follow directions very well. If they happen to mess up, they'll place blame on to the customer, instead of taking responsibility. There isn't a standard haircut for everyone, so you are very well at the mercy and whim of whoever cuts your hair and however they interpret your instructions.
