LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I've been bringing my daughter here since her very first haircut when she was 3. All the ladies know us by name and know what cut she likes and even know that the clippers give her a rash.... Lol They take their time, they always make sure to ask plenty of questions so they know exactly what she wants this time (it's ever changing lol) We never leave disappointed...in fact my girl is now addicted hair cuts! She wants a haircut every 2 weeks. She has her favorite stylists' and everything. And my daughter is always getting compliments on her hair cut, you would never know it wasn't done at a high fashion salon. Bottom line, this Great Clips rocks!! If our girls ever leave we will follow them for sure... (But I hope they don't leave because this place is super convenient ) read more

Always been a pleasant experience here. Of course I don't get my hair cut as often as a should so I don't think I've ever been to the same person, but I've never walked away disappointed. I get my haircut about once every 3 weeks or so. I'd say out of the last 10 times I was happy at this salon with 9 of them. That's pretty darn good for a place that is less than $20.00. I have been to other Great Clips locations as well that were terrible.. See my other review. The stylists are always very nice and funny at this location as well. I don't care if I live in Sacramento now, I will always drive to this one instead. Keep up the good work ladies.. and I think one or two gentlemen (gay???) read more

They always mess up. Lady pressured me into thinning my hair and it felt like I was rubbing a wild gazelle.

My boyfriend went in to get his sides cleaned up and get a fade. The guy did a fade on one side and shaved the other side completely. When he came home it looked awful. I tried to fix it but couldn't get them the same so he had to completely shave his whole head. Neither of us will be going here ever again read more

I like that this place has a 15 minute or less wait time. This particular time I had no wait time. Jennifer was very nice but clumsy, which was no big deal to me. She dropped a couple of things and forgot a couple more things in other spots. The hair cut it self was great. The fade was perfect and she was able to tame a couple of cowlicks that I am the not so proud owner of. One thing that does concern me is that this place seems to have a high turn over rate. I don't think I have seen the same group of stylists for more than 4 or 5 months. I have no problems coming here, though. read more

I'm from the Bay Area and in the Bay Area they take pride in their Fades haircuts. So being that I moved to Sacramento area I was desperately to get a proper haircut. I found this place and I absolutely in love with the haircuts here. I won't actually tell you who my stylist is because I don't want her to get extremely busy and my wait times be longer than it is. I usually get great haircuts from here except for one other occasion, always the same simple Ceasar cut and I always tip $5 even today. I had a different girl this time(They seem to have a crazy turnover rate) and she seemed in a rush every step of the way (I was the only customer at the time too) I didn't think much of it though because it's such a simple hair cut. When she was done cutting it she used the blow dryer for literally 5 seconds and my hair was still noticeably wet, she asked If I'd like any gel and I declined since I was going to go home and wash my hair and it was not dry anyhow. When I got home and looked closer in the mirror one of my sideburns was off 1/4 inch compared to my other one, enough to notice from looking for 2 seconds. Sadly I think i'll try somewhere else next time I need a haircut. read more

They suck. I think they do an okay job for men's hair, but what do I know. My husband always complains that it's uneven, though it looks okay to me. I went there twice for myself. The first time, it was all right. Not the best, but I lived with it. Then I took my daughter for a simple A-line. GINA did a great job. Totally changed my view of the place. Got me hyped up. I went for the same simple A-line. Gina wasn't there and wouldn't be back for months, so I had random OLIVIA do it. Horrible. It's uneven. A chunk of longer than the rest. There was nothing A line about it. It looked more like a straight mushroom head. I knew it was going to go bad when she started off by grabbing a chunk of my hair from the back and just cut it straight. Never in my life have I seen this technique. But I didn't say anything. Gave her a chance hoping maybe it was just we style of cutting. End result: horrendous. Looked like choppy pixie in the back with two long straight ear flaps in the front. :( read more

Brought my 6 year old in for a simple boys hair cut. The stylist scratched his neck with the razor and the cut was jagged and looked horrible. I do not like to complain but the hair cut was embarrassing. Had to bring my son home & my husband had to attempt to fix it.. he was able to make it look better, but don't think we'll be going back or at least making sure we do not get the same stylist again. We took our 5 year old son into Great Clips on Antelope. He was very reluctant because of the buzzing electronics. Brenda stepped up and softly encouraged him. Brenda shows much patience and she absolutely knows what shes doing. Great example to set for her staff. I will highly recommend this Great Clips to everyone. read more
