Selly is great at getting my hair cut and dyed the way I want it. She used to be my hairstylist until I moved a couple hours away. Occasionally when I'm in the area, I would try to book an appointment with her. She is good at communicating, knows how to deal with my very super fine hair, and will kindly advise and refuse to dye my hair a color she knows will make me lose my hair (lol). I recently went to an appointment at Selly's and loved it. I told her what I had been thinking of switching my hair to and she listed to exactly what I wanted. I've had trouble in the past where hair stylists will sometimes take liberties with the suggestions, but she gave the exact haircut I asked for! I had my first experience there today. She has her own little private space in the hair salon building next to Chucky Cheese so you are one on one with her. She understood right away what I wanted and did such a fantastic job! She is friendly and very lovable. I had hair color and hair cut which turned out great! I used to go to other salon in Folsom but got tired of my hair stylist pushing me to buy different products and get permanent make up done. Selly has no display of hair products in her studio and doesn't try to sell anything. She did better job than other place and price was nearly half of what I was paying.
