Went here tonight and I checked in 4:45 and was finally taken back at 6:45. That totally sucked, but it was worth it since they needed it. BTW if you see your time fluctuate on the app, it's because the hair stylist are taking a break or their lunch. It kept fluctuating by 15-30 minutes periodically so I ended up calling and the lady was super nice and explained the breaks/lunch situation. Can't blame them, they have to take breaks. Karen and Michelle did a great job on my boys hair cuts. They took their time with them and made them feel super comfortable. Child's haircut is $16. We also bought a kids gel so that was $9.99. This used to be my go-to place for haircuts. They did a fair job and for a low price. Couldn't really complain. However just last weekend I went in (walked past the HUGE sign by the door that says "no appointment necessary") and was immediately greeted by a grumpy looking woman who was working with a client with a "did you check in online?" But she sounded so unhappy like she'd rather be ANYWHERE else. I said "no, I haven't" so she stopped what she was doing, walked to the check in counter where I was, and with the most annoyed tone I have heard in a long time, simply says "phone number?" So I gave it. "K, it'll be 65 minutes." And she walked away. That was it for me. I place a high value on customer service. I don't care what the problem is, you never give attitude to a customer. So I walked out and left. There's *another hair place* down the road. Go there instead. Wouldn't want to inconvenience anybody here at Great Clips. I've been coming to this GreatClips location since they opened back in 2003, and they're the best. Fast, efficient, friendly service. Every month, whenever I've come in, they're kind and they deliver, even under trying circumstances (a sick call, or a heavy workload or both--doesn't matter). In 19 years, I've never had a bad cut here, and every one who works here, Karen, Jennifer, everyone, have all done my hair at least a couple of times each, yet they consistently deliver exactly what I want, even I do a terrible job of describing it (haha). Today, Karen did my hair, and as usual she was friendly and efficient, and we even enjoyed a nice chat about music. I've seen this GreatClips change management a few times over the years, but the friendliness, professionalism and consistency never does. I don't think those qualities will ever go out of style with this bunch. read more

Friday first time visit and it is pretty slow. Asked to wash hair before cut but insisted that they would wash after. She does it to her husband all the time but that is not my concern. Not hygienic at all they might be cutting your hair after the last sweaty person. Using the same hair cutting items don't be surprised if you breakout right after. Second, I asked about prices for the table of products and one girl at the podium/front desk had to ask the other. There are only 3 girls and only one suggested prices they weren't even sure about. Might as well place prices on the table to help these girls out. This place is only good for a quick in and out cut. Not even going to bother to purchase the shampoo rinse after. Rather just go home and just shower. Basic Great Clips attitude and culture that is why I never like coming to these facilities. Good thing I'm not getting a haircut! read more

After receiving a horrible haircut from Karen I will not be coming back and want to warn other people. I have long straight hair and simply wanted a trim, no change in styling. However, Karen took it upon herself to attempt to cut in layers (which I explicitly did not want) and even when I returned for another stylist to try to fix her mess, there was not much they could do. It was completely uneven and just a complete butcher of what should have been a simple cut. I wondered if maybe my style of hair (although very simple) was just not what she specialized in but my brother and boyfriend have also received bad haircuts from her and they have two different styles of male haircuts. Some of the stylists here are good but I would not risk it, I am having to wait months for my hair to grow out again just to go somewhere else and try to get it fixed. read more

I came here today for the first time today due to the sudden closure of the location I normally go to due to a power outage this afternoon and needed to get my boys haircut for school starting on Tuesday. I checked in on the app and checked in once I got there. The wait time was about 10 to 15mins from the time I checked in. I'll definitely be coming back as the staff and the environment was just great. I like this location better than the one I was going to in eastvale and in jurupa valley. got a new haircut today and it was a horrible experience. I wanted to get bangs and I showed the lady with the tattoo sleeve on the lower half of her arm giving me my haircut the picture of the hair I wanted. once she started she was unsure of what she was doing. She made my hair become like a bowl haircut and it was horrible. Clearly not the bangs i wanted. And it was also clear that she was fine with what she was seeing cause there was no attempt to fix it. I asked for texture but that made it worse. I had to compensate by telling her to just give me a combover and even that went badly. My combover looks weak and it barely passes as one. I'll attach my photo below. I've had great haircuts at this location before but this experience has turned me off forever. I'll just go to the river road location. *Spoke to someone on the phone possibly management, she was really nice and welcoming and was sorry about my experience. Checked in on-line on their app and had a 45 minute wait time. I was able to relax at home and watch a game while I waited. I got a text saying I was up in 15 minutes. Headed to the shop and walked right in. Got an amazing haircut from Lilly. Very knowledgeable and great stylist. I've been coming to this particular shop for about seven years and have always received excellent service and quality haircuts (which is why I keep coming back!). My favorite stylist is Yvonne, who is thorough, extremely personable & kind, engaging in conversation, and is particularly proficient with clippers (which is a must!). I always call to make sure that she's working, though I pretty much go on the same day once every week or two. I live close by in Norco, and came to learn that my neighbor and his teenage son also go to see Yvonne (small world!). I have been to other Great Clips before and know what to expect. That being said this is one of the best locations I have been to! I was so happy with my haircut and the service here, I will make this location my regular go to spot for my monthly trim from now on. A coupon for a $7.99 haircut lured me in for an immediate trim. They do get really full, so going at off hours helps, I came right when they open and by the time I left there were already about 5 others waiting. This is the absolute worst customer service. I came into get my hair cut the ladies were cutting an older man's hair as soon as he walked out they started talking badly about him how difficult he is laughing and making fun of him.Then when it was my turn the lady asked for my number said I didn't check in and started looking around to see if it was someone else check in when I was the only one in the waiting area I showed her my check in and my message from the salon saying to come in then the other stylist Yvonne stopped cutting her customers hair and started telling me that obviously I'm the only one waiting but I messed up and put my number in wrong even though I showed her the texted message on my phone from the salon. My stylist Maria started on my hair she explained what she recommended and I explained to her I didn't want layers she rolled her eyes and said I guess whatever you want.once I was done with my haircut I explained I wanted to speak to the manager Yvonne came out of the back room started screaming at me telling me I don't have to come here I can go to another salon.Yvonne was so unprofessional and rude. Once I got home and styled my hair I noticed how choppy and uneven my hair was not blended at all. read more
