Been going here for around 5 years, line's have been getting horrendously long. Sometimes 60-90 minutes. So, decided today to get me and my sons haircut. Plan my whole day around getting it cut before dinner. Check wait time 60 min. I check in through the app, I get there, I am asked did I check in. I told them yes I did. She says we only have Alex? on the list. I tell her I checked in 60 min ago. I pull out the app, show her on my phone. She says we're closing early today, 5:00, and we have no stylists to close. Sometimes they forget to update the hrs. So...basically those sometimes...you are gonna get some pissed off customers. Me included. Some customer service skills would be good, if you want some customer retention. Suggesting that I'm mistaken, and didn't check in. CS fail. I drive all the way from Tustin to come get my haircut here! I have yet to find a good hair stylist in that area. It was pretty easy to find, Google Map takes you right to the location, it has ample amount of parking available since it shares a private parking lot with other businesses. It is kept pretty neat and tidy. I checked in online before I started driving from Tustin on the system and I was seated as soon as I walked in. My hair stylist knows my hair and the style I like it so well. She is aware of how to style and cut my hair to give me that natural shine and voluminous look. I don't have to damage my hair by teasing and blow drying that much because of the way she cuts it. P.S. Like that they are open till 9:00 pm, works out well with work and school schedule. read more

Worst fucking haircut I've ever had in my life. I was already having the worst week and the hairstylist was super nice but she super sucked at hair. Maybe she messed up cause we were chit chatting, but she deliberately ignored my request on keeping the length of my long beautiful hair...it use to go down to my waist but she cut it all the way to the middle of my back!!! I tried to keep it cool and I even gave her a tip because of how nice she was but I broke down as soon as I got in the car. I'm a 29 year old woman feeling 15 with a horrible ass haircut that is not even blended. I asked for layers and my hair is just BUTCHERED. They are all nice there don't get me wrong, but if you want your hair professionally done just pay the price and go to a professional salon. I did the check-in via online and glad I did! I noticed the wait was 90 minutes, so I checked-in hour and a half if when I planned to go. My kid and I both went, got to get our hair cuts the moment we walked through and was assigned to Gina. She was a gem. She was sweet to my little one, and we we're both able to get out in less than 30 minutes (quick trim/bangs). I've brought my son in a few times and have been satisfied with the cut for the price, but every time we go we notice the girls are not very friendly and seemed to be in a bad mood. Today was no different except that today I brought my daughter for the first time. She had long hair and was ready to cut it short. We asked for a short shoulder length a A-line. Shorter in the back longer in the front, and some layering. When she was done I noticed the left side was longer so my daughter got back in the chair. She started to cut again and I quickly realized it wasn't going to get any better. Her nails we're so long she was fumbling with the comb, scissors, and hair. I'm not one for complaining or confrontation so I stayed quite and paid for the service. All I can say is my daughter is 8 , she doesn't know the difference between a good or bad cut and she was so excited just to get her hair cut. Unfortunately I do and I'm so frustrated that I'll have to take her some where else to get it fixed. Needless to say we will never be back. read more

Let's start with the check in online. Simple process. Checked in for 2. Estimated wait time... 0 minutes! Well that's awesome. Head to the store. Walk in to an empty lobby. This looks promising. There were 2 people getting their hair cut. As we were waiting, another customer walked in. They received their hair cut before us. As a matter of fact they were done getting their hair cut around the same time or first kid started their experience. I doubt they were higher on the list than us seeing that we checked in right when the store opened. So after 30 minutes waiting for our 0 minute wait time our first child was getting her hair cut. Excellent communication by the stylist! Made suggestions that she thought we help. Overall, she was very helpful. The trim was perfect. Stylist #1 was professional. About 35 minutes into our 0 minute estimated wait it was my 2nd kids turn. Haircut was great. Exactly what we asked for. At the end of the day the stylists here are very capable. I have always had great service here, good cuts and they gave always given me coupons or whatever. I have gone here every 2-3 weeks for the past year and a half. Today I walk in and am told to wait 30 minutes because multiple people have checked in online. BUT they aren't even there? So I have to wait for people try hat haven't arrived yet. Sounds like they are late? No problem, I'll just head across the street. 30 minutes isn't the end of the world, but it's the principal of the situation. You're telling me the people who aren't there, are late to their appointment and might not come in are more important than your loyal customer. I can't understand that policy. I told them the system told me it was a 61 minute wait, so they told me they will put me back in the list. They put me in walk in list with 15 people ahead of me. I was really hoping this place would be just as good as the location on Hidden Valley, sadly it isn't. My child's haircut was crooked, took them back to have it corrected and the older woman with glasses at the register did not pay attention when I informed her it was for a correction due to it being uneven from the haircut they just had there. My child gets the to seat and the hairstylist asks what I want done. So I end up repeating that I want it fixed because it's uneven from the last hairstylist, she just says "oh no one told me it was a correction". *sigh* no apology or anything from anyone. Her name was Marcella I believe or something similar and she was not very engaging nor friendly. I get the impression these are recent cosmetology grads, there was a lady walking around with a clipboard asking if she could check to make sure our hair was a quality cut and asking how customer service was. They are also more expensive than the location on Hidden Valley by a few dollars or so, but I never felt like I was being practiced on so I wouldn't mind paying a little more but still very affordable compared to other places. Never had complaints or issues with that location. If you do decide to visit this location on Archibald go with Jennifer, she seemed the most experienced. read more

However, the quality of their cuts we're terrible.The stylist spend about 6-10 minutes tops on their heads...last time I went, the stylist did not follow the instructions of how I wanted it cut...and she cut it too short for the style. I have great and terrible experiences here. It all depends on who you get. For example I come in and get a hair cut from a lady named Ashley whenever I can; she's a joy to talk to, she takes her time and I get a great haircut every time. When she's not there however, and I end up with Gina like tonight, I get a rushed haircut with her slamming the trimmers into my head, wavy lines, and her trying to go so fast she cut her damn finger open with the clippers and probably bled a little into my hair. I am very unhappy and heading home to take a shower. But my point is if you come here, watch the ladies work while you wait and don't be afraid to ask to wait for someone you want. I forgot the name of my stylist as I'm from out of town and it was just a quick stop, but she was lovely and very attentive to what I wanted. Not at all pushy. The other stylists weren't or were seemingly unfriendly. Based on the amount of regulars that came in while I waited to be seen(approx. 30-40 mins wait unless you check in online), it seems like they stay busy and their customers are happy. A lot of the customers were known by name, which I honestly thought was awesome. Overall, it's probably a great place to become a regular client.
