Don't come here. I came here for a basic scissors trim for my kiddo, who has special needs. I specifically asked for scissors trim behind the ear because my son will move too much and laugh from the clippers vibrating. I told the 'hairstylist' that my son squirms and moves too much and to please use scissors. He didn't listen and proceeded to use clippers instead around the ear and nicked my son. He then apologized and stated he doesn't like using scissors around the ear. I didn't bother to ask why, but you figure when a customer requests something for a reason to avoid injury, you'd follow through with such a request. Won't be returning, ever. read more

I'm always so skeptical about going to these lower end salons to get my haircut. But I work seven days a week and it was close to where I work... So I was like why not give it a try. I told the girl ( Dasha) that I needed my hair trimmed and wanted to add a few layers to give it some body... Also that my bangs were very heavy and I would like to blend them so they would lay a little better because they were so thick and heavy. I basically have a mullet now. It is so choppy on the left side of my head that there is absolutely no way to fix it without it looking as if someone took scissors and just chopped it straight off. Worst hair cut of my life!! She proceeded to tell me that she could give me a good haircut but that it was up to me to fix it where it would look right. Well I have blown it out.. I have flat ironed it and you just can't make a mullet look good!! I'm so disgusted. read more

My son an I are mortified. Charity cut his hair an looking at it straight on it seemed ok however after I looked closer I had to hold my tongue an leave. There were several guests waiting to be cut an I didn't want to complain infront of all of them as Charity May not have received her next guest. She literally cut my son hairline out his head. Pushed it waaaaaay back. I'm sure everyone is familiar with the joke of someone having a 5head. My son is devastated an don't want to go to school tomorrow. He is in middle school an we all know how pivotal these times are especially with bullying being an all time high. I called up there an Melissa I think she said her name was apologetic but that's it. She didn't offer a future cut on the house or anything. She said I helped her with it an I thought it was straight. Yes it straight as in the new hairline she created but his original hairline has been removed. She offered for us to come back in an get it fixed. Lmbo how you gone fix it? What you gone glue the hair on that was cut off?? At this point it will need to just grow out. I'm so disappointed, an as a customer who uses Great Clips. I highly doubt I'll bring my son back to THIS location. Sucks being new to the area an excited about a great clips being in walking distance an to walk away looking for the hairline charity removed. Cloey cut my hair and it is so ugly. It looks nothing like it was when I came in and asked for a trim. She butchered my hair. Then basically forced me to buy product. I was so mad I just wanted out of there. My hair is so ugly and I went home and cried. My five year old could have cut it better. NEVER coming back. I was able to get seated right as I walked in, which was nice. During the cut, the salon got busy, and my hairdresser had to leave me several times in the middle of cutting my hair, which I could understand. That made me a little uneasy though. I showed her pictures of a general cut I'd like to get- I wanted a pixie cut, and I'd never had one, so I didn't know what to expect. She cut a straight line across the back of my neck and shaved off a half inch of neck hair, and I was really confused. It doesn't look good and it doesn't blend in well with the rest of the cut or my head shape. I know I have thick hair, but it doesn't feel right. She also told me that she wouldn't be able to dry my hair, because the salon was too busy. I don't know if that's standard practice, but it seemed very unprofessional. She also rushed me out the door so she could get to the other people. I didn't feel like I could ask her to do anything else because she was in such a hurry to get me out of there. I loved my hair at first, but on further inspection, there are a lot of choppy and uneven bits of hair that I wasn't expecting. She added layers without telling me first, and I had no idea how it would look. Overall I think it looks okay, but I'm a little disappointed it didn't turn out how I wanted. They cut your hair as they feel fit The Hairdresser (an elderly lady) paid no attention to my 1 instruction which was leave 1 1/2 inches on top. I repeated this instruction twice, once prior and once during the haircut. As I wear glasses I was not able to see how much she left on top. After the haircut she left less than 1/2 inch... too late for me to do anything. read more

I would never pay the regular price of $14 for a haircut as you're only a couple of bucks away from getting a full service cut with 2 washes e.g. Fox Hair. But there's always coupons floating around that knocks the price down to $7. And if you're on a budget because of Christmas Shopping like myself Great Clips is a no-brainer. The staff has been great the couple of times I've gone. They're sometimes understaffed especially during the lunch hours, so be sure to check in online or on the Great Clips mobile app before going to avoid having to wait. read more

I have been coming here exclusively since I moved to DFW a couple years ago. They offer a deal each year where you can load up a gift card for $10 hair cuts and I recommend loading it up with $120 (I get my hair cut about once a month) and you can be in great shape for just a normal hair cut. They don't have tvs or anything at each seat so the only entertainment is chatting with your stylist. read more

Went to the Great Clips location from Corinth. Got there about 45 minutes before Donna was scheduled to come in. I asked the person on the desk if I could check in, and was told no. Came Bach 5 min before Donna was scheduled, and checked in. Waited 20 min for her to arrive and open her station. Another guy came in and checked in at the desk for Donna. When she finally set her station up, she called the other guy saying he checked in on line. I drove all that way, arrived early, was refused a check in, waited 20 min past her start time, and had someone that came in well after me go first. What a crappy way to run a business. read more
