I was just getting a trim, but she was so meticulous and asked all the right questions so I would get what I went in for. Sometimes you'll get hairdressers that try to point out the flaws of your last cut, or things that need to be fixed, but Blue was very complimentary and sweet. After she blow dried my hair, I realized I should have asked for more to be trimmed off. I felt so guilty, but she was so kind and immediately offered to trim more. After she was done, it was perfect! This salon feels really clean, modern, and airy - plus it's in a great location. Make sure to ask for Blue, she's the best.

I went in for a spiral perm with clear reference photos and left with a result that did not match what was discussed and was assured was possible. Within weeks, the curl continued to fall out, and at this point there is very little curl remaining--even with styling products; what a loss of $460! After multiple attempts to follow up with Pamela Coryell the owner and Piage their "perm specialists", I did not receive any timely responses from either. When Pamela did finally reply, my concerns were dismissed and the outcome was blamed on my "hair canvas", including claims that my ends were lightened and too porous. This is simply not accurate--my hair is NOT colored, and I have had previous spiral perms which held well 8+ months and have matched the spiral perm look requested. To be certain I was not off my rocker, I had another salon in evaluate my hair that very same week I got the perm, and they confirmed the perm did not properly take, did not reflect what was asked for and they said I should be refunded. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability from Salon Technique. Instead of acknowledging that the service fell short, the responsibility was redirected onto me the client! I requested multiples times for a refund and was denied and the only offer sent back was that I could return and re-perm little ares here and there with no promise that they would take! UNBELIEVABLE - I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. My experience says beware and do not go here. I expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately this salon does not hold to this level of professionalism. UPDATE 4/25/2026 JUST RECEIVED A SPIRAL PERM FROM Avy The Curly Girly at a different salon in Fullerton and I got EXACTLY what I asked for (see photo) and to boot... for way less! I did start by trying to explain and show John a photo of what type of layered haircut with front long bangs I wanted. He kept saying, I know what you need and cut according to what he thought was best. Normally this would not bother me but, going to a stylist for the first time and them not listening to my concerns is unsettling. After my blow out, the haircut did not come close to the photo. Even then, I waited a few days, washed my hair and tried to style my hair. Very different. The haircut is fine, just not want I wanted.

He had me sitting with highlights for over one hour while he was cutting clients in between. Said I was stressing him out and that I don't have a license and should trust him because he has 35+ years experience. (Thanks Deanna!). The day came and I showed up, nervous as heck for my hair update. Deanna is THE SWEETEST and friendliest stylist ever!! I walked out in 3 hours feeling like a million bucks. I ended up leaving half way through the blow out because she kept hitting my head with the blow dryer. When I got home my hair looked darker then when I went in to have it done. Today my friend pointed out a huge bleed mark in the back of my head. When I reached out to Quinn for a refund she told me to come back in and she would fix it. Unfortunately, a don't trust her to touch my hair again and requested a refund to which I was denied. I'm unsure as to why this Salon has so many good reviews. She also provides great product recommendations. Lena's salon is petite and cute, but it feels spacious enough since she usually has one customer at a time. Lena has a gentle and sweet approach to hair, making recommendations without feeling like they're being forced on you. I really appreciate that. She has done a great job dying my mom's hair, which seems to be her speciality, but I've also really loved having my hair cut by her. The products she uses smell very good. I believe she is able to speak in Korean, Spanish, and English. Highly recommend her services!
