After the completely messed up my boyfriends hair she said "it's just hair, it'll grow back" and made me $25 for the worst men's haircut I have ever seen in my entire life. The lady who cut his hair 1. Barely spoke English 2. Went hiding in the back after she was done with this monstrosity of a hair cut and 3. Every time I go, great cut, just like the name says. Price is right, staff is friendly, no appointment needed.

Looks like she didn't wanna pay taxes. Told me halfway through the haircut that she will take payment by cash or Zelle only as someone "stole" her credit card machine. What a scam! Then she charges an exorbitant price for the haircut which was a just flat cut with no shampoo or blow dry. After my hair dried I saw the length on both sides was unequal. Don't go here. She doesn't wanna do her work properly and only charge "cash"!! read more

It's great that I could call at 6:45 Monday night, 3 days after hair salons got the green light to see customers indoors! It's great that the person who did my hair & was willing to stay after closing to finish it. It's not great that a color, which I presume comes with the color & developer, a wash to remove the color, the use of their color mixing appliances, towels and smock is $75 and ALL I needed was someone to apply the color I brought with me (no joke - she applied it & I left - color still in my hair) and I was charged $75!!!!! Yes!! Full price!!!!! I "haggled" to get a whopping $10 off!! To be fair, she got 2 towels, the smock, a bowl & brush dirty...and it took 30 minutes. But seriously!!! TEN bucks off!!! I understand things are hard for hair salons right now, but I shouldn't have to single-handedly make up for lost profit. I've been out of work too!!! Next time I'll save $65 and do it my damn self!!! I was so nervous to do my daughters hair as I feared damage and just a bad job but Vanessa has gone above and beyond to exceed my expectations. Vanessa pays attention to detail and is very invested in her work. What I really appreciate is that she is upfront and if she thinks there is risk of hair damage she will let you know and provide you alternatives and options. She has now done my daughters hair twice and I have been amazed both times at her work. My daughter is completely happy with her new hair. Maria is very kind to her clients. I don't get my hair cut here because I get it cut like once a year but this is my grams spot for cuts. $12 for seniors, and some days it is only $10 before noon I have been told by my cousin. Maria is so friendly and kind that it makes the fact we have to wait (this visit over an hour wait! Love ya grams) okay since we just walk in. Maybe next time I will make an appointment, but getting grams going can sometimes be a struggle because, well, the tough old broad is almost 92 and goes at her own pace. I've been getting cuts here for many years, since it had the Nautical theme with the sails. It changed hands and lost the sails but is still a good place to get a haircut. It's always even on both sides, I never call for an appointment, just walk in and get a cut that is worth the money. Beats SuperCuts and Fantastic Sam's every time. Update: OK, I got a cut from the lady who has an issue with English. She gave me a cut my mother would have given me when I was eight years old. I don't think she understood a bit of what I told her I like. Next time I go there I will try mornings to see if the English speaking stylist is there otherwise I don't think I can recommend this place unless you speak Spanish. read more

Have been going here forever. My daughter gets her hair cut here and they are always great. However this Saturday I went in to have a trim and my hair styled for a wedding. Nothing extravagant I asked for my hair to be blow-dried and the ends to be curled. Mind you my hair is just past my shoulders and baby fine, i do not have super long or thick hair. I was in and out in less than an hour. My hair looked amazing. However why did it cost me $75 for this????? I was expecting $40 or $50 the most. Nope $75 plus a tip. Never again. Now I'm not even sure if i want to take my daughter back here for her trim. May need to find a new place. read more

Walked in for a haircut and was told it would cost $20, then after haircut was done the hair dresser Maria asked if I wanted dry and style? I said I don't need style but drying was fine. When I went to pay my bill I got charged $50. The haircut came out fine but I was not pleased since the hairstylist didn't listened and I got charged more. I don't recommend this place because apparently business only care about generating quick profit and failed to listen to the client. Rule of thumb! I went here last year the first time for my daughter it was okay, and she liked her hair (she just got a trim, wash, and straightened). we got it all for under $100. So this year, we decided to go back and did the same thing, and she charged $160! We were surprised, but Maria sweet talked us and put on a face just to get our money. Today, I decided to go back but only for straightening hair for my daughter. I asked her how much it would be, and she simply said, "I have to see it based on thickness and length (her hair is about medium length and semi thick)." I then proceeded to ask if she could perhaps give me at least an idea where the price began. She lied to me and said, "Not till I am finished with her hair." So I was not happy, but I let it happen. Afterward, she said it was $375. I was completely utterly shocked! That much for just a regular straightening, ridiculous (previously I went to place in fullerton that only charged $50+, I thought maybe this place was closer and I was in a rush I highly regret my decision and trust in Maria) She put her face back on and said $300. I had to pay it, but she never told me how much, nor does she have a price chart from the beginning. It was a TOTAL RIP-OFF! I am never going back there. read more
