I went into this place today and got a trim, killing time before my bus. Walked in only had to wait about five mins, was please with that, but thats about it. The lady wasnt very talkative and basicly refused to cut my hair the way i wanted. I wanted it long on top and faded short on rhe sides and back, simple request i thought, i had to tell her about five times to cut it shorter, and all the while i was getting from her "i dont think its gunna look right" in a very condesending tone, well in the end it didnt. I walked out with something i didnt want, and twenty bux lighter on my wallet. Looks like im going back to cutting my own hair. read more

Needs work, I usually Goto great clips locations because they are pretty on point. But this time was a little under par. My sideburns didn't match, the drawer marked "clean" had hair in it. So they were taking clean combs out of a dirty drawer. Probably won't be going to this location again. read more

Don't let them touch you. Went in asking for a shoulder length A line. She said she knew how to do that. Walked out after she completed cut in less than 5 minutes with a straight cut across - uneven and sticking out - bob cut to my ears. I had an event to go to that night. I went to get my hair cut. It was so disgusting to have little black pubic hairs all over the counter right in front of me the whole time, in the seat I was sitting in, and hair all over the place on the ground. How could the hair cutters not think that other customers would think that is so discussing!!! Get it together. Great Clips advertises that it keeps notes on your last haircut so as to do it the "way you want it" every time. I had told them that I was trying to grow it out and that I wanted it Layered, NOT Blended--I believe that was in the notes. Today the woman literally cut off all the length and BLENDED the hair--exactly what I did NOT want. So now instead of nice multiple layers and long. It is super short and nearly all the same length with just some mild variation at the bottom--NO LAYERS. I do not understand why stylist can NOT listen to the customers. Why they feel that the way they cut your hair is somehow better than what you really want. I'm pretty sure that until they hire someone who understands the concept of "Layered" I won't be going back (at least not for six months until this horror grows out!) read more

This place has horrible customer service. I was waiting and sitting for a hair cut while i noticed Trina was having a great conversation with her client and as soon as he leaves she starts bad mouthing him infront of everyone in the store. Then she calls me over and it was THE HAIR CUT FROM HELL! she didnt say a word to me was talking with some random person barely paying attention to what she was doing and was so aggressive when she was cutting my hair and basically flicking me when taking off hair off my face. Also when she would try to adjust the seat would literally knee it and hit me in the back multiple times. I do not recommend her or ever coming here, save yourself the trouble! read more

I have had my hair trimmed here many times with no complaints until today. I have long hair and I like to style & wear tied up for work. I asked for a trim & showed "Kitty" how much to trim about 3 inches, She said she would like to cut about 7", I told her no again and showed her again using a comb for reference. She started trimming my hair making comments on how nice it looks & how it looks much better. She then asked me if I would like to see it, then handed me a mirror but before she turned me around she made the comment that SHE just couldn't stand how little I asked to be taken off so She took more off than I requested, She turned me around to see that she had taken about 8" off, I was beyond furious, but when I got home & realized that I could no longer tie my hair in a pony tail let alone wear it tied up I ended up in tears, I'm still in tears, then to add salt, I read the reviews & all complaints were for the same thing & the same person! My question is why is she still employed? There is nothing worse than trusting someone to do what you ask & have the blatantly ignore you & do what they want. She doesn't have to live with it, I do. The best place and great service. I visited many places before but the service here was good and the haircut is perfect.

First time coming to this Great clips. My husband and my son got cuts. My husbands came out great which was done by the blonde woman with glasses. She was wonderful. My sons hair unfortunately was done by the other woman with brown hair and highlights, very short bob. When I took him outside afterwards I could see a "jump" in his hair layers in the back, he looked like a fool. I ended up shaving his hair off when we got home. read more

This place is a chop shop at best. Went in for a trim meaning no more than and inch maybe an inch and a half and by the time I looked up she had taken about 5 inches away. I had about 10 inches of hair. And when I saw it she saw my face then said I'm evening u out. She took my perfect asymmetrical haircut that I had been slowly perfecting for 3 years and in minutes ruined it. It's gonna take near 6 months to a year to fix read more

Been coming here on and off for a very long time. But, I think no more ! Problem is the hair cutters come(probably right out of school) and really don't have much skills. Over time they either leave the profession, or if they are really good move on to a quality establishment. So,Lousy Clips is left with Lousy haircutters. Now I have to keep in hiding until this whack job grows out enough so I can go to a quality place with quality LONG TIME help. The lady that cut my hair seemed like she didn't know what she was doing.. I told her very specific instructions.. and she didn't do what I wanted...i told her take off 2 inches and she HACKED OF ABOUT 4 INCHES OF MY HAIR..I almost got up and left I was so furious but I didn't wanna make a scene. I only wanted a trim.. not half my length cut off.. and she parted my hair on the side before cutting it so my hair is totally uneven.... extremely pissed at this lady.. I wish I knew her name.. ugh by far the worst haircut experience I've had... Will NEVER GO to any great clips again!!!! She was very argumentative after I told her that was enough and she said very sarcastically well I don't want you to leave unhappy.. if she only knew. Not to mention I waited for a hour.. after checking in online.. Well I guess kids salons are kids salons for a reason. There they have professional stylists that know how to cut 4yr old kids without nicking their ears on the first little shave and they know how to march on cutting hair when the little ones just slightly tilt their heads off of perfect center position without having to constantly repeating to the 4yr old " keep your head up. Lean back against the chair. Hold the chair arms. Lean back. Look forward. Head back. Keep your shoulders back and head up" over and over and over and over and over again. This girl made me sick listening to her. My 4yr old loves getting his hair cut. And sits still but granted his head tilts slight and he might lean a tad but my gosh can you not work around those slightest of movements he did?!? Obviously not! He has never had this type of treatment in a chair before. I definitely will not nor do I recommend bringing a child here!! She even ripped the paper neck wrap off about 1 min into starting and said " this will be easier" obviously for her!I had to stop watching but told my daughter I would not leave a tip! I've been to great clips in Rohnert Park before and they did a fine job. However, I went in today and got the worst haircut of my life from a women named Xai. I had to spend 20 there, and then another 30 somewhere else to fix what she did. I wouldnt say dont go to great clips, just if you go avoid Xai AT ALL COSTS. read more

Got my hair cut here today and I will NEVER come back here ever again! I walked in with no appointment and was told I would have to wait 45 minutes. The lady that greeted and checked me in was really nice at first. After about 50 minutes, she came up and told a lady that had checked in after me that it was her turn and I told her I was there first, she looked at the screen and asked if I could wait another 20 minutes. I was slightly annoyed but I let it go since I had no where to be anyways. When I got called up, the lady that was going to cut my hair barely even talked to me. When she asked me what I needed done I told her I wanted layers but I wanted to keep the length, she told me I should get it trimmed also. But I told her again that I wanted to keep the length and she kept pushing. My hair is healthy and doesn't have any split ends so she really had no right to keep pushing me to get my hair trimmed. After a while I told her it was ok then but I only wanted a short trim. When she finished trimming I saw that she had cut about 2-3 inches of my hair. I was a bit annoyed but let it go AGAIN because hair does grow back. Then I let it dry and saw that the layers looked like absolute shit. They made my hair look messy and they were really blunt layers. They look awful and I'm probably going to have to get my hair cut somewhere where they actually know what they are doing. I've been trying to grow out my hair for a year now and and my hair was about 4 inches away from my goal length before I came here and I'm probably going to have to get it cut just above my collar bones now because they messed up my hair. read more

I have gone there a few time. Most of the was not happy but didn't want say was bad on that. Any one can have bad day. But last visit was the worst. The girl working on was doing good job and the one charge got on her for taking to long and stop her. That sucks and will not go back for 16 dollar you should get a good hair cut. read more

"SORRY ABOUT THE LENGTH" is a DIRECT QUOTE i had from the idiot girl who worked here. I forgot her name and i doubt she still works there. WORST mistake of my life! (*NOTE* My hair fell a few inches below my shoulders when i first walked in) I EVEN showed her a picture of a simple long-length A-bob hairstyle...(and also ***note that I ASKED her if she was able to cut it that way and she quickly said yes with no problems) So I took a seat. As soon as she began cutting my hair, I immediately noticed the nervous look on her face and all the sudden i hear *SNIP* and she cut INCHES ( at least 3 inches) of my hair off!!!! My hair was literally just below my ears at this point!!! And it was supposed to stay long in the front! Craziest experience of my life, I freaked out and all she said to me was "sorry about the length" I am still trying to grow my hair as it has only grown a few inches in the past 5 months. Yes, it has been 5 months since this happened and I am STILL scarred from what she did to me. Its a nightmare. I feel bad for anyone who goes here. read more
