I've been coming here for like 3 year now and they've been really inconsistent, Sometimes good, Sometimes meh But this last time they cut my hair was terrible. I didn't realize how bad it was until after it dried. It was sticking up, It was uneven. Just terrible. So now i'm going to be looking for another place to get my haircut in the future. read more

If i could give my experience a zero i would. I took my 2 year old in for a well needed haircut and because she wouldn't wear a mask i was HUMILATED. Never in my life and during this pandemic have i ever meet a more rude check in lady. she even followed me out to my car after i left to make her point more clear about their policy. Cooperate was called and even THEY aren't happy. this is a 2 year old people. and per our governors own guidelines she doesn't even need a mask. She also have sensory issues that makes trying to get that mask on her a challenge. Will never go to this salon again and i am telling everyone i know not to either. read more

Wait time here is generally short. If you watch for sales, either posted in their window, coupons or whatever, you can get a pretty good deal. Different stylists, different personalities too. If you bond with someone you really like, don't be real surprised if they are not here when you return. There is a bit of turnover. The worst salon ever! They took off a big chunk of hair that made me bald on one side of my head, and then tried to fix their screw up by attempting to take a chunk out of the other side! I am not joking. I got up immediately and did not let them of course. This was not a small bald spot, it was the size of a quarter! Not only did they do this to me, but they demanded that I pay for them ruining my hair. I wrote the owner several times and explained the situation and requested a refund but I never received a response. I will never go back to this place! read more

Will never return, stylist was very rude. I wish there had been someone else there to have witnessed it. She wouldn't even tell me her name when I asked her politely for it. She had a bad attitude because I pointed out she missed a spot, when she turned the chair for the final inspection. I recommend people go to the Fairfield location. Absolutely horrible. I wish I could post a picture of my hair, I just got back and straightened/styled it. I got a A cut line and it is very uneven, and the back was supposed to be played but instead it looks like a chunk of hair was cut from the right back. She didn't wash or wet my hair accept for with a spray bottle, which wasn't going to straighten out my waves. So upset, really bad quality. read more

I usually have a great experience at this GreatClips location. However, I'm not happy today with the lady who was here. I checked in online, which their website says is to "save your place in line," but when I got here, she said I had 2 people ahead of me and that it'd be 35-40 minutes. Those 2 people were numbers 2 and 3 on the Customer Wait List and I was number 1. So if I checked in before then and that supposedly "saves my place in line, and the list showed me as 1, she should've taken me. What good is checking in online if they let people go ahead of you who actually checked in After you?!? Instead of following their own policy, it seems she took the easy way out and let people go that were sitting here so she didn't upset them (the mom seemed like a negative person). The owner needs to make sure his or her employees know their own policy and follow it. read more

I took my 4 year old granson there for a haircut. I had him ther before so they had notes in thier computer as to what kind of haircut to give him. The girl that cut his hair has no business cutting anyones hair.She had no clue how to cut hair, she gave him a buzz cut and even cut his ear. She had asked another employee there to help her clean it up. The other employee said to me his haircut was on the house. That does not excuse them from the wrong cut and cutting his ear. So I came in so a regular nothing fancy men's hair cut and I will say the place itself is very clean and inviting the staff were very polite. Only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is because the place just felt a little awkward I think just having some random music in the background would help a lot. But my hair was cut the way I wanted and despite not having a neck collar I didn't get any hair down my back so I was pretty happy with that. Though idk why more places don't have the hair vacuum clippers they are soooooo awesome. read more

My son has a hair style that he knows how to describe and likes. The stylist suggested another type, which may be modern for some young teens, but not his style. My son declined the suggestion and asked for his description. The stylist still decided to put her suggested elements into the cut, resulting in a highly unsatisfactory look for my son. A stylist or shop certainly may suggest, but should style as the client wishes. This stylist and this shop needs to be avoided. The only reason that his mother took him there was due to the long wait time of our regular salon. I would wait hours for a trusted salon rather than use this one. read more

Totally understand there are rules because of COVID, but if you don't have a decent customer service skills, why do you work there. My daughter just turned 3 so I was excited to get her first haircut. I was told a 45 min wait and we didn't mind. I was told with a snobby attitude "Is she gonna be okay? You are not allowed to be next to her, you need to wait in the waiting area. If she cries I will stop cutting her hair and she will go home like that, understand?" So I didn't want to think she meant to say it the way she did but, it did get under my skin a little and I said "that's fine" after 5 minutes of sitting down, my daughter gets up and walks around a bit. I tell my daughter "come here and sit with mommy." And the lady goes "excuse me, she has to sit down and not be walking around" that's when I was like okay I'm leaving.... you obviously heard me already call my daughter, she isn't bothering anyone nor next to anyone nor touching anything. I was upset. How do you expect a 3 yr old to sit down and wait 45 mins, i honestly just think she doesn't like kid's. Anyways took my daughter to hair cuttery, they were so sweet asking her if it's her first haircut and how excited they were to cut her hair. I asked if I was able to be next to her and they said yes. Well surprise surprise...when they asked how old he was in conversation I thought nothing of it...but, yep ring me up for an adult hair cut....10 and over is considered an adult apparently. EVEN THOUGH clearly he is a middle school STUDENT, and clearly there with his MOTHER, DOES NOT HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE...CANNOT VOTE....CANNOT HAVE A JOB LEGALLY.....CANNOT HAVE AND OR PAY BILLS, GAMBLE, SMOKE, DRINK....ETC, ETC....I will have to pay an adult price for a kid's hair cut. This place absolutely sucks. I walked in 30 minutes before their closing time. There were three parties ahead of me. Around 15 minutes before closing an old lady walks in and they tell her, "sorry, we won't be able to cut your hair. It's almost closing time." She understand and leaves. 10 minutes before closing they call on me and say, "hey you're with them, right?" The family of 5 with two kids, they meant. I said, "no, I'm here separate." And I'm guessing whoever was the manager spoke up and said, "no, were not going to cut your hair rt now. It's now 3 after 6." So of course I'm mad, I tell her, "but I've been sitting here for 30 minutes. You didn't think to tell me this as soon as I walked in?" She just told me once again that she would not be able to cut my hair. I work with people all the time. I know how you're supposed to treat customers. That is not how you're supposed to do it. I came here at the end of July to have my hair cut, well I have come here before and I didn't have a good experience but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still came back except this time I asked the lady to cut my hair about 2 in. and thin it out. I thought she did a good job until I got home washed it and used the hair straightener the following day. I was very upset I cried and was mad as heck. The lady had cut it too short from the back (where I can feel with my fingers the back of my head) from thinning out so much. The front side was more noticeable because the layers were very uneven I couldn't go out like that so I put my hair up for about a week. When I called to talk to the manager they told me their wasn't one at this location so I spoke to the ast. and she told me in order for them to fix I would have to come back in again pay the same amount I did since receipt had expired. So needless to say I never went back or will I ever to this location due to their lack of service to customers and not fixing the mistake in the first place. read more
