This is my 3rd time at this place and the last one. The second time was not so good but I gave them the chance and I came back again for the 3rd time... I regret so much. First of all, they took me in probably 35 mins before closing time which I appreciated. The hairdresser was very nice and patient when trying to decide how to cut my hair (hasn't had a haircut in 1 year).She probably cut me in about 30 mins or so. When it was time to check out, there was another lady who I believe was coloring her hair when I walked in, at the register. I asked if they had any coupons she said I'd have to find one so they could scan it. It took a few mins while my wife and me looked for one we'd seen without any luck. The lady in a very rude attitude said we had to hurry up because they were closing, that was in a very disrespectful manner, her tone was like get outta here already. She had also told my wife to step away while I was being cut while she was having a normal conversation with the lady that cut my hair. Overall, the haircut looks nice but when delivering a service, people need to have their best attitude at all times even if you're having a problem. You can deliver the best service but a bad attitude can knock it all down. I want to make this place my regular but having to deal with that lady again has me doubting. read more

Went to get me son and my self a hair cut today. And was please with my sons hair cut that a young blond lady did. But mine was a horrible it was done by a dark hair older lady. Let me explain the 4 stars- The energy in this salon is high strung. The stylists almost fight for the chance to make a couple dollars. For a price so low you'd think the store would be teeming with customers. But with such high competition there seems to be a lot of angst. Managers are responsible for creating a friendly environment. We would like a friendly Great Clips. The first time we went in the ladies were grumbling back and forth as to who was going to cut my daughters hair. There was a long pause and finally one person stepped back. The stylist grumbled that we just wanted a straight cut and said layers would look much better. She did a good job but good gosh what an environment. The second time, I was nervous. My daughter wanted 8 inches off and layered. The stylist name was Janet. She styled it really well and didn't complain what style we chose. The cut was sharp and no strays. I am furious I just came back from getting all my hair trimmed...I have front bangs and I asked her to cut my bangs and I showed her under my brows and the lady said okay. We took my son for his routine haircut that we have been doing for a year now....... this being our 2nd time at great clips..... we show the lady the same picture that we show every other person that has cut his hair and every other time it turned out perfect, but this time the lady clearly did whatever the heck she wanted. She confirmed long on the top and short on the sides and we said yes. She butchered his hair, it's so freaking short, I'm so mad!!! She used clippers on his hair which has never been done. When I went back over to confront her I showed her the picture and said does his hair look like this picture and she said yeah long on the top and short in the sides...... no it looks nothing like the picture she also didn't offer an apology or anything. She cut it way to short and my son has a big head so it looks funny...... needless to say I will not be returning!!! I chopped off my hair and Maria gave great tips on how to keep it healthy since my hair was damaged from bleaching my hair. I loved how she thinned out the sides since I went short that way it wouldn't be too heavy. Meh, went in for a haircut a couple days ago. Had a 15min or so wait, no problem there, they're newly opened and there were only two people working that day. My turn, and I'm assigned a stylist and just as I've told her what I wanted done (nothing elaborate, just cutting off a good six+ inches) she left me to go do something in the back of the shop. Once returned, she started cutting, but it wasn't many minutes until she left me alone in the chair again, this time to correct something in the register that apparently also required her to make a call to someone. A good 5-10 mins go by, without any communication with me whatsoever. Finally she came back and finished my cut. All in all she probably spent more time _away_ from me than she did with me in the chair. I get it, sometimes stuff needs to be dealt with, but when you're with a customer at least apologize when you walk away in the middle of the job. At least I had a coupon so the price was good, but doubt I'll be back. read more

I asked if i could have a trim because they know i HATE short hair especially up front and now there isn't even an inch of hair up front and the sides are cut up to 3/4 of the way on the sides and its long in the back! My OCD is killing me and this was a terrible experience. Carina gave my haircut. I think she should have a chat with the manager. My worst experience by far. I was told if you check in prior it puts you in a priority they lied and when I called them to tell them that I did a check in and they need this code that's in my phone she wouldn't take it over the phone so sending my husband down with my son I still had to drive after them. The entire staff from the owner on down were very courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, always on time and very hard working. One of my worst haircut experiences.. So this was my first time there. First of all the lady cutting my hair stunk of cigarettes. I asked for the lady to taper the sides and do a fade up the back and non tapered parts of the sides, and to take a quarter of an inch off the top. I ended up with over an inch off the top, and just a typical two on the sides. Once she finished I noticed the tapering was much shorter on one side than the other and asked the lady to fix it and she told me I was wrong, so she went over it with the size one 1 buzzer and guess what, more hair was cut. As a guy haircuts are way more noticeable than girls. Really disappointing I'm going to have to grow it all out and go somewhere else to get my haircut the way I want. read more
