Been here a couple times now, more so due to the pricing and great coupons.. i usually come with my son. So i just noticed the price creeped up a bit, which is still in line with most shops in the area. So like i said, been here a couple times, and the people working there usually always shift, never the same stylist. Even though they do have the ticket system which tells them what you got last time on the haircut, the people doing it arent the same. So 2 out of the 4 times ive been there, my haircut was messed up. Once i just left it, and the second time i had to go back so they could fix it. My son's hair has been fine, since he isnt picky. We had been going here for about 5 years. They have messed up my twins hair cuts so many times. We found 2 people in there that we were ok with using. That's the only reason we would go back. Today we went and had our dog with us. He is a very chill. We entered the shop and sat down. Someone new walked up to me and said I couldn't have him there. There was NO sign posted ANYWHERE on the outside, windows or within the shop stating they didn't allow dogs. I have been going to this Great Clips salon since the COVID-19 pandemic started to improve (so for me) about 3 years and I love their customer service as everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the environment salon wise has always been real peaceful and relaxing. The best part is that Great Clips have their "Clip Notes" system; making it easier to go inside and get your hair back to looking neat and tidy. I always go to see either Stacy or Rainie as both ladies have always done excellent work on cutting my hair as short as I needed my hair to be. They do not disappoint... NOT once! And they both continue to go above and beyond anytime I do a quick spot check on my hair and see that stray hairs need to be cut off or if I wanted to go a little more shorter with my haircut. I gave this place another try and the hairdresser did a terrible job cutting my daughter's hair. The haircut looked fine when completed, but the next day once it was completely dry, I was able to see how uneven the back was. The hair on her left side is a lot shorter than on the right. When you make an appointment on the website it says nothing about being REQUIRED to create an account profile. No one should need to create a profile and share personal information for a walk-in haircut. Stop caving to companies like this, just say NO. It's a gimmick and a way to get personal information. Both times I got nothing but good conversation, smiles and a great haircut I cannot remember with stylist who cut my hair, I had two different ones. The prices have climbed about 10%/year, but I'm a senior and get a small discount. It all works out for me, the girls are pleasant and always very efficient. The system works! read more

I really hate doing this so soon but I'm super bummed. I love my haircut from the front, but the back is super uneven. The hair stylist was very nice however, but when I called the person who answered the phone today (didn't get the name and I think it was somebody else) was super weird and rude. I politely explained that I was just there and I really like the front, but that the back is super uneven and asked if I could some back. She was silent and then said "that's fine" and hung up. I'm so disappointed, and mad at myself for coming back here. My first experience was good but it was a small trim. I won't even return for them to try to fix it because of how the lady was on the phone. My husband took my son for a haircut on Tuesday July 30, I want to cry the haircut is so awful! My son has his school Pictures on Thursday for his ID and the pictures we purchase for the school year. Broken system, whatever haircuts, $15. I've been getting my haircut here since this location opened and have kept coming back every few weeks. Yet today I wasn't allowed to check in online because of the high volume of check-ins (which has happened before) so I decided to drive 5 minutes to the location and walked in at 8:34pm. One of the main reasons I liked this place is because they stay open till 9. On the check-in screen there was a long list of 8 or so "people" and two parents waiting in the lobby for their kids getting cuts. I was informed by one of the 3 haircutting women that there were too many check-ins and that the computer wouldn't let me check in so I wasn't able to get my haircut. "We open tomorrow at 9." I was surprised how quickly rejected I was. I guess great clips has never heard the expression "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" because they are eager to turn away real life customers for names on a screen. With no other options at this hour I decided to see how many people showed up and guess what?? ZERO!! Technological issues and a lack of customer service will be the demise of this business. I was told my 1 year old baby CANNOT get a hair cut without a mask. Babies this young are advised NOT to wear masks by the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics. I politely questioned about the policy and was told all Great Clips are forcing children under the age of two, no matter how young, to wear a mask while in their business. (Although, the woman who told me this (Jennifer Aguilar) has been very rude to customers in the past, so I'm just wondering if she is just enforcing whatever rules she feels like, not taking babies health into consideration, just because she feels she can?) Had an OK hair cut, but he service is unprofessional...it needs improvement. I have been here several times since it opened.The prices are reasonable. My issue is every time I come in they ask me for my phone number. I keep telling them I don't give out my phone number but they don't get it. Today was no different, but what is annoying is the lady that checked me in called me "Hon". It is unprofessional to call your customers "Hon" in every business I can think of. I showed up and was attended immediately by Nancy. At first, I was a little nervous because I don't let just anyone cut my hair let alone my bangs. I explained to Nancy how much I wanted my hair to be cut and how I wanted my bangs. She explainers everything she was going to do step by step and was very kind. So i went in on a Thursday around 11:30 am. I called ahead to see how their check in process worked. She instructed me to download an app called "great clips" from there you can check in ahead of time and it will hold your spot in line prior to you arriving. It is similar to setting up an appointment however, you just get any stylist that is next available. When I arrived, there was a lady at the front desk who I learned later is one of the stylists, they do not have a receptionists but rather the hairdressers who help the customers check in. The check in process was easy and I was seen in less than 15 minutes. However, as soon as I walked in a slew of people followed behind me who were walk-ins and had to check in. It is a smaller salon so some people were standing while they were waiting to be seen. On the right side of the salon there is a tv where it show the queue of the customers along with an estimated wait time of how long it would take to be seen if you were to check in. Since there is a grand opening sale for haircuts, my hair cut was 5.99 which is an amazing price. But you get what you pay for, there is no shampooing included (it is $5 extra) and there is no style at the end (also another $5 if you wanted to add it). The lady who cut my hair was great at assessing and listening to what I wanted. She also walked me through how she was going to cut it which I appreciated since I am pretty picky. Overall, the place was nice, clean, and a friendly environment. Just keep in mind what kind of hair cut you are getting for $5.99, I am not sure if I would go back and get that same haircut for what the listed price was which is $15. read more
