They always have a line when I stop by of people picking up bakery orders or stopping by to grab sweet treats. My favorites have been the peaches and cream, top hat cupcake, pistachio raspberry and strawberry vanilla. Their tiramisu cupcake, margarita cupcake and the key lime cupcakes all actually tasted so much like the namesakes! Their cupcakes are mostly perfectly balanced sweetness: I haven't had anything that was too sweet. Their cakes look so beautifully decorated, but I haven't tried any. They look so good though! The pastries are where Ben Wong shines. Showcased in the middle of the cafe, the ability to self select pastries often leaves me going home with more than I expect. The Pineapple Bun is fluffy with a mild sweetness, the Chicken Curry Bun is savory with a satisfying crunchy exterior, and the Taro Buns have a rich taro flavor. At $3-$5 per pastry you can't go wrong with any of them.
