We stumbled upon this place on yelp and holy moly - I am so freakin glad we did. The food here is 10/10, the service is incredibly friendly, and their bread is the best I've ever had. We ended up going here 3 times during our month in Temecula and I honestly wish they would expand to SD. The best baked goods around Temecula Valley. The honey bran muffin is my favorite among so many other yummies. Recently I had a lemon bar that was pretty savory that melted in my mouth. I've only ever been to this Great Harvest location but had a chance to visit one in Northern Ca and it was nowhere near the same quality experience as this location with the decor and shopping center location. Come for the amazing fresh baked bread loaves and stay for their delicious sandwiches! The California Cobb and Wine Country are great and come loaded with meat on your choices of fresh bread. Their a bread maker and sandwiches should be way cheaper then what there charging. Breakfast Panini My first time here today. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful since it was first time. She definitely up sold me. Along with my jalapeno sourdough cheese, bacon and egg sandwich (which was delicious) I also got a cinnamon roll (it was huge) and cinnamon bread loaf. I came into this darling bread shop for some lunch today and was impressed with the customer service and my tasty sandwich. I ordered the Mediterranean veggie panini. The Panini was excellent! The bread was pure multigrain goodness filled with a yummy cheese, tomato and other veggies as well as avocado. I also ordered iced coffee. There were only a coupledownfalls of this place. First, parking is difficult throughout the day. I've been in this plaza during the day and night, and it's almost always hard to find parking. I found a 20-minute parking spot in the front of the shop, which is good for a solo diner but would be difficult with any group. Also, the sandwiches were a little pricey. Also, I feel like there could be more seating inside if the tables were a bit smaller. IMHO of course. Otherwise, I think this place is perfect for a nice breakfast/brunch place or somewhere to dine after visiting the wineries just minutes away. read more

Typically I would give Great Harvest 4/5 stars. However, this past weekend we bought an apple streusel coffee cake along with some sandwiches. The sandwiches were delicious but later when we had the coffee cake we found a long blond hair. Thinking maybe this could be our own, we continued to have the coffee cake and found another hair embedded inside. Management needs to ensure food prep staff are wearing hair nets. Wanted to bring something home for my kids from temecula and cane across this bakery on yelp. Nice place! Very clean inside, big shopping center with parking. We picked up a pack of cookies, a loaf of the apple bread and a loaf of cinnamon burst. The oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were amazing! Next time I can't wait to try the peanut butter. We gave the apple cinnamon to my parents, so I'm not sure if it was good but I'm guessing it was spot on because the cinnamon burst bread is delicious too!! I made French toast with it and then we ate it with just butter toasted. Sooooooo good! I love how its thick and chewy but soft. Not overly sweet. It was perfect. read more

Outstanding establishment. Ordered the wine country and subbed out salami for bacon at no extra charge. When I tell you it is the best sandwich in town, I mean it. I've been to all the local spots. The price point is appropriate. In fact, many places are over charging for their sandwiches and providing low quality ingredients. This place does not. The bread here is INCREDIBLE and freshly made. Even the "normal" loafs were extremely flavorful and dense. The cheesy and sweet loafs are to die for. How does something as simple as bread get that good? Love the free sample board too. We got the Popeye which was packed with cheese and dried vegetables, and the seedy Dakota Loaf (Both about $7). Loaves are HUGE. Also got the chipotle turkey sandwich on italian herb and cheese ($8), bread again was amazing. Sandwich was a little weirdly distributed but still yummy and super filling. Tried this place last week for the first time. The breads were awesome. Fresh and tasty. We ordered in the sourdough baguette as well as the French bread and both were still warm and yummy. If you're on a diet this is not a place for you...when you walk in the aromas from all the breads, cookies and bread puddings will engulf your olfactory nerves. The varieties of bread is endless....and oh so fresh! They make some really awesome sandwiches. The cranberry turkey is my favorite for now...but many more to try. They make a variety of cookies and scones. Thier bread pudding is to die for. The salted Carmel is like heaven and then there's the lemon blueberry.....oh my God! They have at least four tables inside. They also have some outside tables where you can eat and bring your fur babies...dog friendly . We went to Temecula to see a movie at Imax and looked for lunch options. The area has gotten ridiculous with a $15-20 price tag for most lunches in the area. So, I searched "sandwich" on yelp and this place along with 2 others popped up and looked good. Great Harvest was a little out of the way and it was totally worth it. Had an egg and veggie sandwich and a Mediterranean veggie sandwich and both were very good. We will definitely come back here. read more

This one is all about the cinnamon rolls...like, seriously...YUM! I've always thought cinnamon rolls, in general, were alright--usually too sweet, especially the icing. So, I'd usually scrape off most of it and just eat the bread. But these are sooo good! Even the icing is good because it has delicate cream cheese flavor to it and isn't just straight sugar. Not only that, you're getting a pretty good-sized roll--roughly 6 inches in diameter, give or take. I recommend these things to EVERYONE. If you buy nothing else at this bakery. Try these! As for the rest of the bakery--of course, because it's a bakery, so it smells like absolute heaven when you walk in. Their monkey bread is not bad. Their blueberry turnover is good--it's heaping with blueberries! Their sandwiches are decent--nothing to write home about, but not bad. They're located in a convenient shopping center with Baron's market, EOS, CVS, and Starbucks, amongst other things. The parking lot can get pretty busy, but for the most part, I haven't had any issues. The place isn't too small with a handful of tables inside and outside. It's a pretty good bakery in Temecula that I believe is worth trying. read more
