The bread is great. My wife and I got sandwiches here. Chicken salad and a turkey, chili, cheddar melt. Both were really good. We tried several types of bread and butter. All were good and we purchased several loaves and some cinnamon butter. They also have large cookies and bread with fruit in it. The fruity bread I got is called Savanah Bread. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The facilities are clean and the dining room is about 50 by 25 feet. I highly recommend it. read more

Great Harvest is delicious, don't get me wrong. Today, was no exception. The problem lies with the Covid guidelines and how they were NOT being enforced within the store. Not one employee used a mask. I witnessed a bread maker trying to get her buns out of the loaf pan and she had her unmasked face about 2 inches from the bread. Next, the girl at the checkout counter did not use gloves to grab cookies, or muffins for the guests. The tables were filthy. I did not feel comfortable eating at one, so at the last minute I took my food to go and ate in my car. I don't know how they pass health inspections. Meh atmosphere. 4 sandwiches took 25 minutes to serve, and mine was wrong, so it took another 5 to get my meal. We did get a cinnamon roll that was delicious but sugar sweets are difficult to get wrong. Overall my sandwich was just ok. For the time spent I'd rather have subway. read more

Was really excited to get a breakfast sandwich from here. Ordered an egg and cheese on a biscuit with no meat and tomato's. I don't eat pork, so when I got the sandwich and saw bacon pieces in the biscuits I went back in and asked if biscuits had bacon and they said no. You simply have to try this! Located across the street from Panera bread, I don't think this spot will ever have to worry about loosing customers. First off, it's clearly visible from the main st and there's plenty of parking. You walk in, and the aroma is just amazing! Think freshly baked goods. They offer you free samples on any of their sweet breads including scones, yumm! Their menu is great, as it includes a large variety of soups, sandwiches and salads. The salads are out of this world and made with quality ingredients and plenty of healthy greens. They also carry local honey and other local products. I love that it feels like a mom and pop shop, and there's plenty of stools, or table sitting. read more

So I've been a great harvest bread at least a dozen times, and have always received great food and great service. Today was the first hiccup around a promotion that was sent to my phone - from great harvest. So the current promotion is: buy any salad or sandwich and get a free loaf of Dakota bread. This is a great promotion. So I made a special trip to great harvest to buy a sandwich for my lunch tomorrow. After they made my sandwich I said I would also like my free loaf of bread. Apparently they had run out of Dakota bread. So they said I was not able to get a free loaf of bread. I said that's the only reason I drove over here tonight because it such a great promotion. Can I pick up my free loaf of bread tomorrow? The person behind the counter said yes, but you will have to buy another sandwich. I said why doesn't the sandwich I'm buying right now apply to the promotion? He said because it doesn't carryover to the next day. Then he wrote a big long note for the people to read tomorrow, and I thought he was writing the note to say give this guy his free loaf of bread. So when I asked him if that was what he was writing he said you still have to buy another sandwich tomorrow to get the free loaf of bread. I said never mind, you can throw your note away, I'm not coming back. That was ridiculous! ADDENDUM ... I went back a week later and the note was still up, and the awesome day staff apologized and handed me a free loaf of bread. They just had a new guy that was adhering to the letter of the law, rather than the spirit of the law. All is right in the world now. read more

This place is fantastic! The food is great. The chicken poblano soup is the perfect little bit of spicy. All of the sweets are good, but definitely try the pecan squares or the Savannah bars. First of all the service, food and atmosphere is great and very friendly and a happy place to be. I had started going in there regularly once a week to enjoy a breakfast biscuit and for me the price was a "tad" high. Walked in today and the price jumped almost a $1.00. I was shocked that an egg, bacon and cheese biscuit and a fountain drink ran up to almost $8.75. I am sorry to say I will no longer be a weekly customer and feel this is a bit extreme. There's no comparison to the fresh baked and fresh ingredients they use as compared to their competition across the street.
