I want to start this review by saying my wife and I have been to nearly every Indian restaurant in Nashville. That being said this restaurant just opened close to our home so we had to give it a try! First of all the interior of the restaurant is beautiful. It is a great picture of their menu and offerings. It blends traditional Indian ambiance with a modern art deco twist. This is reflected in their menu with their "fusion" options such as tikka tacos, noodle dishes, and naan sandwiches, that you might not find on a traditional Indian restaurant's menu. Heirloom traditional menu has all of the standard fare you would expect to order as well. However we always test a new Indian restaurant by trying their chicken tikka masala and their butter masala chicken dishes. We ordered both dishes along with a side of the garlic naan. The butter chicken was creamy and delicious and the chicken tikka masala was robust and flavorful (mild was still a little spicy on the tikka but not on the butter) something to note about the tikka is that it had very flavorful peppers and onions in the dish that really made it stand out for me personally. The garlic naan was fresh and the perfect consistency (I don't like cracker thin naan or puffy naan that is more like pita bread) this had the perfect balance of crusty bits and a soft fluffy center. After having tried our staple dishes, we will definitely be back to try out some other menu items. This is our new go-to local joint for sure. It was priced appropriately, the portions were very generous (we both had leftovers and even shared a single order of naan sufficiently) and the ownership was very nice and accommodating. If you live in the area you need to get out and support this joint, this place is great and will make a great local staple for years to come! 5/5 stars, would recommend!

Great Indian food! Service was great and prices are very affordable. I got Samosa and Vindaloo and both were terrific.

I'm giving a three because the food is so good - but…read more... This restaurant is a dump. It hasn't been open maybe only 7 years, I think, but it that short time, the inside has deteriorated. When they first opened, it was so sleek and shiny - a long way from what it is today! We ate there last Sunday the 19th of April. There is duct tape EVERYWHERE trying to hold the once glossy, once white, once clean laminate in place. The booth we sat in (also cushion ripped and worn) had no less than 6 strips of duct tape holding it together. If you look around the dining room, it is on most of the joints, keeping them together. It is als VERY junky and cluttered. Went to the bathroom (another area that needs a lot of work) and there are rolling storage cabinets lining the hall making it very claustrophobic. On the way back to the table I looked behind the bar - a hodge podge of tools and caulk guns and whatever else I do not know piled in the floor. It was a mess. Corners and baseboards, chair legs and booth bases were just - dirty. Years of residue built up. Probably won't eat inside ever again, it is just so depressing, especially after knowing what it once was. We were there at prime lunch time after church and there were only three tables seated and a couple of to go customers.

Food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. Very reasonably priced as well. I would…read moredefinitely go back.

Rajdhani is Nepali food, which none of us had ever tried - but we all love Indian food and Nepali food had some similar flavors and dishes. We started with two orders of momo (Nepali dumplings). We had a vegetarian party in our party, so we got one order of the vegetable momo and one order of the chicken momo. To be honest, I was more excited about the chicken momo, but the vegetable momo BLEW ME AWAY. The chicken was okay (a little dry and not as flavorful as the vegetable), but the vegetable was amazing. (The chicken was still worth ordering, but it needed a bit of the sauce to make it more delicious, and the vegetable momo didn't need anything at all.) Then we shared a bunch of dishes family style: chicken curry, aalu govi (potato, cauliflower, and spices - aloo gobi in Indian cuisine), a vegetarian thali (a dish of many small dishes, which included a daal, eggplant, okra, and other veg dishes), chicken curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, and paneer chili. Everything was good, but my favorites were the Chicken Tikka Masala, the paneer chili, and the okra from the veg thali. Rajdhani is a grocery store and cafe. The cafe is to the back of the grocery store. The service was good, and our server answered all the questions we had about the menu. We finished ALL of our plates. Every little bite of food was eaten. We didn't leave hungry, that's for sure! Rajdhani isn't a fancy place. But as an introduction to Nepali food? It's a winner. I definitely plan on going back and trying more Nepali food if the opportunity arrives! If you like to explore the international cuisine available in Nashville's Nolensville corridor, add Rajdhani to your list! Well worth the hike out to Nolensville and Bell Road (admittedly not so much of a hike for this Crieve Hall girl). Two thumbs up!

The waitress was lack luster in personality, we sat down asked for hummus and the young guy with long hair on staff said they didn't have change for a $20 so a 7.99 hummus turned into a 20 dollar bill when he never brought back the $5 my friend said just to bring back as a tip. Then my mom's hummus lamb plate had a clump of hair in the hummus. The staff, "would you like us to remake it or a refund" no I'm sorry not anything to remedy the situation. Between the 5 of us with to go plates was nearly $130 ish. I'm so disappointed and know the owner would be upset with how his staff handled this. My chicken saaj bowl also was lack luster in flavor, I go to another Mediterranean place locally that is way way way more flavor. Hope the owner has a talk with his team about back of the kitchen etiquette so there isn't food in other people's food.
