I came here for Sunday brunch and ordered the Portobello Mushroom Fries, French Toast Logs. The mushroom fries were so crispy and the batter had a flavorful spice. The basil pesto dipping sauce complemented the fries very well. The mushroom was tender and fried to perfection. The french toast logs were thick cuts of brioche drizzled with warm maple bacon syrup and topped with fresh blueberries. Its sounds delicious and was because the french toast was soft and pillowy with crispy edges. The maple bacon syrup was simply divine, and not too sweet. This can definitely fill you up. Service was top notch and our server came to check up on us. Note that the prices here are a bit more expensive than other Great Maple locations (e.g. Newport Beach), likely due to it being in the Pixar Hotel. The dinner food was delicious for a party of 8 last night. The Maple Pecan Crusted Salmon was perfection!! We heard the Ribeye Melt sells out, but we were able to get a sandwich for dinner and I can see why, it's fantastic. The Hot Honey Fried Chicken Sandwich is amazing as well. All 8 of us couldn't stop raving about our meals. This was a birthday celebration. Appetizers were charcuterie trays and they were beautiful. The lavender lemonade was delicious a bit on the strong side so just ask for extra ice. Espresso martinis on point. Our server Ochena was so sweet and attentive, even though extremely busy on a Saturday night. Management stopped by to check in on us and several staff sang happy birthday. I've dined here twice now. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. It wasn't until dinner I realized they had an all day menu lol. In the beginning I was shocked when they put a chain restaurant in a Disney Hotel, very unlike Disney. After trying the Donuts, I clearly understand why. The donuts here have completely changed how I eat donuts. To start they prepared to order and served hot. They are shareable. Even the portion of donuts that comes with the fried chicken is plentiful. In my opinion, they serve the best hot donuts right now in Orange County. First let me start off with wow! We were very impressed with this restaurant, we decided to come down and try this place out and check out the remodeled hotel in the process. Beautiful job Disney, we do miss the old Paradise Pier Hotel but this is a nice refresh. Now, the Great Maple, wow the food is excellent, they serve breakfast/brunch all day (which is a personal favorite). The ambiance, decor, atmosphere is mid-century American but casual enough for the whole family. We loved everything from their shareable menu, Mushroom Fries! Their main courses are excellent, but would suggest for more of the food dishes to include a poached egg. That made the whole difference on elevating the food. Their drinks, you can't go wrong with anything served here and even for the nonalcoholic crowd they serve the drinks in cute mason jar bears. Highly recommend visiting this place especially since many iconic restaurants around the park have closed or experienced recent renovations. I miss the old days of the Disney 55 restaurant in the Disneyland hotel, but this serves as next chapter in Disney cuisine. We loved the Pixar decor! read more

From my understanding, this location of the Great Maple is relatively new. With that, there are a lot of areas that could be refined. The service was kind but average. We had to ask for our waters twice. The first time our server pointed over to the server table and told us they were just over there and they would grab them in a second. After some time passed we had to ask for them a second time. The drinks were mostly good. The espresso shots pulled for the cappuccino were meh, but the cold brew bears were tasty. One thing I did really enjoy was the hot chocolate almost was foamed like a cappuccino. This both served as a way to keep the chocolate syrup drizzle on top and also added a nice depth. The food was mostly good with a few take aways. In the pancakes, most of our party had at least 1 pancake with a burnt bottom. It was to the point that someone walked by (I'm assuming a manager) and noticed the burnt bottoms towards the end of the meal and stopped to apologize saying it was too early in the morning to make those mistakes and took a small plate with a portion of the pancake to show the kitchen. I do appreciate the gesture and if what I heard was correct and this was a recently opened venue, I can absolutely understand a certain adjustment period to work out the kinks. The venue location was nice and it had a good energy. Part of the hotel lobby was under construction and there were occasional beeps of machinery but that was also something that the restaurant has no control over. read more

We were very excited to try the newest Great Maple location inside of Disney's newest hotel. The decor was lovely inside, especially with the pastel colorization throughout and the eye-catching bar. Our server, Gabby, was phenomenal throughout our experience. The meal started with the loaded potato seasonal soup, the mac and cheese, and the sour cream & onion scalloped potatoes. All three were heavy starters, but tasted equally delicious. I opted for the Grilled Chicken Bowl subbed with steak. I requested medium well, but the steak came rare; not a worry for myself, but was definitely noteworthy. The star of the show was the Soda Pop Baby Back Ribs! The ribs were fall off the bone, flavorful, well balanced, and absolutely delicious! However, the negative parts of our experience: the original order of the ribs came out with a hot exterior and lukewarm interior. Gabby was quick to replace the dish (literally less than 2 minutes), but the replacement faced the same issue. At this point, she spoke with her manager and he came over to ask some follow up questions before getting our 2nd replacement order in. The 2nd replacement order was made fresh and arrived perfectly to temp, but we were shorted a rack (2 instead of the usual 3).. The manager never followed up with our table, which was also noteworthy. I may be overthinking it, but he gave off vibes of being annoyed and almost antagonistic with us. Lastly, the eggnog crème brûlée was joyfully decorated and quite tasty! Parking validation is offered with your dining experience here. Such a great addition to the Disneyland Resort, located inside the Pixar Pier Hotel! We celebrated a birthday here and it is great for groups! They have a wide range of menu options so there's definitely something for everyone. We ordered the mushroom fries and it was so good and probably my favorite. Over the years, I've heard about how amazing this place was and I should go off property to a local establishment to try during one of my Disney trips. When I heard that they were adding to the newly renovated Paradise Pier Hotel, I was excited to make a reservation to try! First things first, good food is worth waiting. Though the there was a little bit of a wait, it was definitely worth it! We had the manager come by the table as they didn't have an allergy menu, and they were super friendly and informative. This place is so cute! I love the subtle Disney touches all around with the Pixar pictures, makes you feel immersed in Pixar. The service was amazing, our server JC was so super sweet and very attentive. We arrived at the hotel and the staff was super sweet let us walk around the lobby and take lots of pictures and videos, they are currently still remodeling as of 11.30.23 but come January they should be done. This restaurant is geared towards adults which is super nice, you feel like you're in a high end brunch place without feeling to "kiddish". It's a great addition to Paradise Pier soon to be Pixar Pier. I got the Summer Sunset drink which wasn't too sweet which I really liked, and the famous chicken and doughnuts. I really enjoyed the chicken it was lightly breaded but the doughnuts were a little thick which isn't my cup of tea. I still think it's a great meal and the vibe is immaculate. They have their own parking structure and we ended up not having to pay for parking after the park closed! The service was very Disney so it was excellent. The food and drinks were great! This is a great option for dining but it is not technically in the parks. It's in the Pixar Hotel so it is a walk so I would recommend for breakfast or dinner for before or after park entry. We ordered so much. We had the Shrimp & Avocado Stack with cooked and chilled clamato-marinated shrimp, citrus mashed avocado, jalapeño, tomato, market vegetables, tortilla chips. Very good. Then Portobello Mushroom Fries with parmesan, red pepper flakes, basil pesto aioli and some sort of avocado dip. DELICIOUS. We ordered it every visit now. Great Maple in the Pixar Place hotel was a convenient and great place to stop by for dinner after a conference. The subtle Pixar theme throughout the restaurant is super cute and adds a fun touch without being overwhelming. Made reservations on the app in advance. I've been to the Fashion Island one and the Anaheim vibe is completely different (in a good way). I shared the chicken sandwich, the portobello mushroom fries, and the seasonal salad with my colleague and the mushroom fries were my favorite. The service was attentive and friendly. While it might not be the top restaurant on Disney property, it's a perfect excuse to check out the new Pixar Place Hotel. This restaurant is full of liars. I called and they told me if I showed up at 5:00 there was a wait list I could join. I was there at 4:20, and waited till 5:00. At which point I was told by someone who did not wear a name tag but told me she was a manager "Amy", that they do not have wait lists and to pretty much fuck off. Came here to have brunch with my college friends and there was a good variety. We got the bacon egg scramble and the chilaquiles. We also got the seasonal pomegranate donuts which came out fresh and very hot. They were very good! We also got the Brew Bears in French Toast and Mexican Mocha. In the middle of watching our niece at a dance competition at the DLand Hotel, we took a break for dinner at Great Maple in the Pixar Hotel. The place was packed on a Saturday night, but we had 8 pm Open Table reservations. Got there at 7:15 pm, the hostess checked us in and politely told us that due to demand, we would be seated close to the reservation time and be texted when they were ready for us. We appreciated her honesty and went to explore the hotel. Got a text at 8 and were seated. Very convenient and efficient. We ordered and received our food quickly but every time our server checked on us, we felt a definite spiel for an upsell, "is everything to your liking, how about trying....." It got "old" after saying "no thank you" more than a half dozen times. We will not be returning unless someone else is paying lol. read more

Third times a charm? Nope. Against my better judgement, we had friends in town who really wanted to go after visiting the San Diego location the last time they were in town. We arrived for a late reservation via the Disneyland app (~8:30 PM) and again had atrocious service and mediocre at best food. After being sat, we waited fifteen minutes before anyone came to our table. The restaurant was empty. Our food again came out barely warm and the monthly pineapple upside-down doughnut was simply awful. The pineapple on top was dry and crusty and the doughnut was hard. How can you be serving food like this at these prices? I simply don't get it. I appreciate managements response to my previous reviews but I don't want any special treatment for coming back, that doesn't solve the overall issue. Fix the speed of service and send out hot and fresh food to every table every time, it really is as simple as that if you want to survive at this location. read more

Upon checking in for our reservation the host was warm and welcoming. We sat at a table right at the edge of the roll up windows which was great. The overall feel and ambiance is chill with a slight feeling of that up scale modern dining experience. Our Server was very warm and welcoming as well, although we did not get a menu overview with recommendations. I did ask after the fact and the server had a good basic knowledge of the menu and  was able to give recommendations. This may be a little thing but the Seasonal Menu that we were given had a few rough edges that my eyes and hands caught. I think for a restaurant who is that up scale modern dining I expected the menus to be in better condition but this was a little thing. The first item up is the Portobello Mushroom Fries. I actually am not a huge fan of mushrooms but these were good. I'm not a fan of the breading but it did not feel as heavy as it looked. The pesto aioli was good and the vreading ratio was good. the flavors all together went well together although I may be missing some acidity to lighten the dish. For someone who does not like mushrooms except when on pizza, I was surprised how much I enjoyed the dish. Omg, the entrees, here we go: The Ribeye Melt, at first I was worried that I saw more veggies than ribeye but it is definitely in there. The flavors are so harmonious and the ribeye is cooked beautifully. The fries are pretty standard. My wife got the NY strip and it was cooked perfectly. She ordered it Med-Well. She also got the truffle fries and we both agreed it had just enough of that truffle flavor to not be overpowering and every bite had flavor. The Arugula Salad compliments the butteriness of the steak. The Vinegrette gives a little acidity but it could use just a little bit more will really elevate it. We drizzled some lemon on it and BAM. They even rendered the fat on the steak as well. You can tell that whoever cooked this dish put some great attention to it. So the Peach Doughnuts were more dense than we were expecting but the taste was great and the crunchy exterior was actually nice. They were not overly sweet but could probably be just a tad on the sweeter end. The fruit medley on top was also not very sweet either. Taste and Flavor was pretty much there but I wouldn't call it a doughnut. They did sit for a few minutes as I waited for my wife to come back from the restroom. Timing on the dishes was also near perfect. The pacing of the meal was amazing which I expect on a slow lunch service. Overall I would definitely come back and try the other dishes. I would recommend this place to not only Guests of the park but also just anyone looking for a good meal. Notes: They are closed between 2pm - 5pm to reset for Dinner Service. Super adorable restaurant located in the gorgeous Pixar Hotel close to Disneyland! We went here for a holiday brunch with my coworkers (my first time) and it's definitely a cute spot with mostly good food, though surprisingly for Disney, the service left something to be desired. Food: I got the Ribeye melt which comes with a side of fries. This was really tasty and actually a great portion size so it became two meals for me. I loved the fries, nice and crispy and well salted. I also ordered a Lavender lemonade which did not taste very lavender-y or any different from a regular lemonade. At the end of our meal, we ordered the beignets and donuts to share. The beignets, while tasty, were really not beignets but rather beignet shaped donuts. It didn't have the airy-ness you would expect from beignets and were definitely just the doughnut batter fried up to look like beignets. Way too dense. The doughnuts with the lemon curd were my favorite, not a fan of the maple bacon one. Service: We came here in the morning on a weekday and had made a reservation and were seated promptly. It wasn't very busy as it was a weekday. The server we got was SUPER stand off-ish, GENUINELY I was surprised as I am really used to Disney staff being super friendly. When we ordered, any questions we had were met with an attitude from this guy. It made it really awkward for us to even try to approach him to ask for more napkins or a straw! He also forgot portions of our orders and then made us feel like it was our fault! He rarely checked in our table (which we understood at first since we were kind off into the corner but then after awhile it just got to the point where we weren't getting any service at all!!). It took almost 30-45 minutes to even get our check processed! The entire interaction left a bad taste in our mouths sadly. All in all, the location IS very very cute and I love being at Disneyland. But for the price point and service, I think there may be other restaurants that are more worth your time and a much better experience than Great Maple Anaheim. read more

I was so happy to see that there was a vegan option for breakfast because when I looked online I only saw vegan options for lunch/dinner. It was a 8/10 breakfast for me! A most welcome addition to Disneyland, Great Maple is nestled in the new Pixar Place Hotel and serves up some killer brunch. My wife and I have been by twice now and we've thoroughly enjoyed the meaty portobello mushroom fries, buttermilk pancakes, French toast logs, pancake 'pops', and ribeye melt. I'd say the latter three dishes have been the standouts for us. I can still easily recall the piping hot logs with pillowy soft interiors, blend of sweet and savory in the pops, and hearty steak in the melt. I'm going to guess this was mainly due to the fact it was Mother's Day, but we waited quite a bit for both seating and service. Regardless of all that ... their food is SOOO GOOD! They are definitely not portion shy, nor do they hold back on their flavorings. I made sure to taste each dish (rib eye hash, chilaquiles, truffle fries and chicken & donuts), and I was so impressed with them all. My favorite is definitely the donuts. SO GOOD! Crispy on the outside, and so warm and moist inside. We all agreed we would come back. Sooner than later. We have aten here before and the experience was a 10/10 definitely recommend! The food is really good and the environment is great. The server we had this time, Alicia, wasn't the best. She barely acknowledged us and asked other tables how everything was going, except for our table. We would say thank you to her and she ignored us every time. She wasn't very attentive to our table specifically but who knows everyone has off days sometimes. But either way love the restaurant! read more

We checked out the great maple in Anaheim located inside the Pixar hotel. We did visit for dinner and it was very busy. I thought the food was all right.
