    Addictive sushi

Average today for lunch. Standard buffet dishes. Nothing stood out, less interesting items today as i remembered. New dish double cook pork, is ok. Still good sushi. Loving the hmong style pepper; very spicy. Drink included in price about twenty bucks w tip. Nice to see always alot of folks here...

Food can be a hit and miss, depends on who is cooking, food can be really good or bland, but always loved this place. Price not bad for a buffet, for 2 people it's about $25 each. Nice variety of foods, has salad station and offers sushi. More times than not this place is great! Usually decently busy, but they seat people fast and normally can find a spot and not really wait time. Food was well stocked. Service was decent on refilling drinks. Not very chatty staff but they do decent on keeping an eye on refilling drinks, Recommend a try!

    The crab? Super nasty tasting

Me and my significant other came here with high hopes. We looked at the sea food the salt and pepper shrimp was gooey and cold. Crab what appears to be imitation crab. The lo main had no flavor. The beef and broccoli was by far the most awful beef and broccoli I've had no flavor beef was stringy and chewy. We came here around dinner time so you can imagine the amount of people here. Generally disappointing. Food was not fulfilling

Buffet prices, July 2023. Weekdays $15.82 lunch, $20.49 dinner, which has more shrimp dishes.

I have eaten at buffets like this in Minnesota and California. Over the years, the food has been almost exactly the same. The Chinese entrées are good, but not great. The sushi tends to be good, and the American food tends to be very plain and bland. If you actually want to eat, healthy, you can do that here. However, you'll have to avoid most of the things regarded as comfort food. Instead, look through the offerings of the salad bar, where you will find plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit. They do make some pretty good chicken dishes. Probably my favorite is the black pepper chicken. They also do a pretty good beef and broccoli. Service was good, my ice tea delivered with a smile. I had a little bit of ice cream for dessert. The texture was a little grainy. Probably sat there too long. Next time, I'll probably have the dinner buffet. I do kind of like their shrimp dishes.

This is the go to Chinese buffet in the east metro. Sushi, the typical Chinese dishes, desert, and tonight they had shrimp, prawns, clams, and mussels.

Better than most Chinese buffets. The food is hot and fresh. Priced a little high but like I said it was hot and fresh.

Decent food. Place needs a cleaning. Interesting people to watch. Certainly not a extravagant place but the food was decent for the price.

This place has favourless, mushy food with very little variety. I would not recommend, not worth the drive.

In…read morere-reading my reviews, I stand by everything I've said about the excellent consistent quality of the food, the service, and how much I enjoy coming to this restaurant. I truly hope they are around longer than I am. I would hate to find out this was one of the choices no longer available to us. Please read my previous reviews for a more inclusive view; this review focuses only on their lobster. I had previously mentioned that they prices of their lobsters (I love the version with black bean sauce) have gone up tremendously. While true, there seems to have been a subtle change in their pricing strategy. Previously (as of before the pandemic), the lobster was priced by the pound, which is the conventional way of doing it. However, they seem to have two lobster prices. The first one is called "Big Lobster" and they say it's between 2 and 2 and half pounds per lobster. The price of that (as of this review) is $56 dollars, or $28 per pound. That's not really a bad price at all. It's expensive, but reasonable. The other lobster is called "Live Lobster" and is priced $10 less at $46. So the real question is how much does this second version weigh? I ordered the Big Lobster, but they said they were out of it. I asked the weight of the "Live Lobster" but I didn't really get a straight answer, but he seemed to say "about two pounds" which doesn't really make sense because that's the price of the larger, more expensive lobster. But I decided to go for it anyway. As I stated in my last review, I'm guessing this lobster is at least two pounds, based on many years of eating lobster. For this review, I had ChatGPT translate the the Chinese on the menu, thinking it was secret code for "if you can read Chinese, save ten dollars by ordering this version" but AI says the Chinese means "lobster" so if you spoke Chinese, you'd still be mystified. So my recommendation is order the version that is ten dollars cheaper and you may (or may not) be paying $23 a pound. Price aside, I love this version of lobster and it is certainly a better deal than what you would pay at an American style seafood or steak restaurant in the Twin Cities.

We grabbed seats at their tiny 4-seat bar, which turned out to be the perfect spot for the evening. The service was fantastic from start to finish with everyone on the staff attentive, warm, and friendly. We went all-in and ordered the Potsticker Feast ($95): two of every kind of potsticker they make, plus all four dipping sauces, Ribeye Noodles, Korean Wings, General Tso's Chicken, and House Cucumbers. The potstickers were awesome but given the name of the place I was surprised that the real standouts were the other dishes. The ribeye was perfectly marinated and tender, tossed with a variety of vegetables and stir-fried noodles. The wings were terrific and the General Tso's was perfect. Don't sleep on the cucumbers either...smoky, spicy, and sweet, with peanuts and sauce. My favorite potstickers were the Beef & Carrots and the Kimchi Pork. If you're looking for scratch-made Asian fusion with great hospitality, Potsticker is hard to beat.

The server was very friendly and informative, even joked around with us a little. It didn't look like reservations were needed, except maybe on busy days like Mother's Day. The food was amazing. Potstickers were, of course, super good, but so was everything else. Portions were generous. I got the pork belly fried rice and I think I have enough leftovers for another three or four meals. There is a small parking lot in back, but you have to walk around the building to get to the door. I would say it is not handicapped friendly. If you park in back it would be hard to get to the door unless you are able to make it half way around the block. If you park in front it is just street parking. My dad uses a walker and we were lucky enough to get a spot right in front of the restaurant, anything else would have been a problem. Spacing inside the restaurant is pretty tight as well. Once dad sat down they had to take his walker into the back because there was no room in the seating area. We were packed in pretty tightly and very close to the table next to us. Overall, delicious food! We will be back!

Proteins all served at correct doneness in the Pho Dac Biet so you get the tougher cuts well done and rendered and the thin steak raw so it cooks in the broth. Great side accompaniments, Thai basil still on the stalk and living, fresh bean sprouts, Sri Racha and chiles in oil depending on your tastes, squirt bottle of hoisin. The only tiny nitpick I have is I wish they had bigger spoons available for those of us who like to mix sauces and soup in the spoon instead of muddying up the bowl. Also Vietnamese coffee is prepared old fashioned, not in a boba cup where you can't tell if it was made just now or weeks ago. Great service. We were able to find free street parking nearby, because of parking lot renovations. As soon as we sat down, our waitress made sure we had everything we needed, including chili oil and sriracha for us. Since it was our first visit, we appreciated that we never felt rushed to order and had plenty of time to look over the menu. The pho was really solid. I loved the clear, deep flavorful broth, and the Vietnamese coffee was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Unfortunately, they were out of bánh mì during our visit, but honestly that just gives me another reason to come back.
