They have a hot foods section - brown rice with veg (peas/carrot) and 4 options of sides will bring you to $12. I opted for their special of 2 lunch orders to get a free large soup (16oz). The guy really packs in the food so for $12 a box it's def worth if you're in a time crunch and want a filling vegetarian meal. To order, order at the counter, pay at the cashier, and bring back your receipt to collect your food. The food is mildly seasoned and not super oily which I love - I def go home to add hot sauce/red chili flakes at home though. After I got the food I walked around the store to look around. Not sure about the fresh produce, but the dairy section is sooo pricy compared to what I'm used to at Trader Joe's for things like organic milk or non-dairy yogurt. I get that it's a small business but for the amount and speed my household consumes dairy, we got to go for Trader Joe's.

They have healthy options for sour cream, cookies, teas, ice cream, cereals, pasta, sauces, flour, milk, cheese, chips, etc. You name it. They have it. Let's face it - the only trade joe's in Queens is a mess. Way too crowded. And the nearest Whole Foods store is in Manhasset, NY. That's too far if you don't have a car. This store gives queens residents another option for organic, healthy food without having to wait in long lines at Trader Joe's or drive all the way to Manhasset, NY. By the way, this store's vitamin shop is AMAZING. The person who is in charge of the vitamin area is knowledgeable in what to offer clients based on their illness. This store also serves shakes, and meals, which I have yet to try. A "healthy meats" store (extension of this store) opened up nearby and I'll check that out too.

When I could get out I noticed that the quality of fruits and vegetables in other stores are not as high quality or variety as what I get at the Natural. There used to be so many butchers and vegetable stores near where I live about a mile away on Queens Blvd. So many stores have gone out of business or are struggling. I used to just stop by and shop at the Natural when I was in their area or with the car but now that I am older and can't walk as far, I am glad I am aware of them and that they have free delivery. I don't really buy organic or specialty foods much but I rely on the meat department and I try to call the day before to see what they have like for Christmas or other holidays and I'll order a turkey or roast. That is hard to get here. I also try to get to the farmers' market in season or Trader Joes but those are also quite a walk for me and sometimes they don't have what I need. At least at the Natural, if they don't have one kind of celery, they'll have another. Once I went to Trader Joes and they didn't have any celery at all so I had to change my whole dinner plan. It wasn't the end of the world and I am still able to think on my feet but I guess they didn't have delivery that day or something. But one bad experience doesn't have to mean so much and over time, I think most grocery stores try to do their best.

Everything was flavorful except for a few veggies like bok choy & cauliflower which were too bland. They provide a bowl of rice & soda for free as well.

I love how you don't have to pay per pound for their mala pots. We ordered the combo for 2 but it was definitely plenty of food for even 3 people. We were able to choose 12 items that include veggies, meats, seafood, and noodles. They have a huge selection of options and they were fairly generous with everything so it was nice to have the variety. You're able to personalize your spice level. The group I came with could not handle spice so we got less spicy, the level above no spice. I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful it was without an excessive amount of heat. The flavor was delicious and everything was cooked well. The staff were very friendly and even offered a free dessert at the end of the meal.

Located inside New World Mall, we walked up to a stall that has more of a casual grab-and-go feel rather than a traditional sit-down restaurant, but the freshly cooked buns and the aroma from the griddle make it stand out. The setup is simple and functional, with the open cooking station adding a layer of engagement as we watched the buns being prepared, and the energy of the stall stays busy but organized, reflecting its popularity among the food court crowd. The sheng jian bao are the highlight here. We ordered a few and found the buns had a crispy, golden bottom with a soft bao-like exterior, and the filling was flavorful with plenty of juicy soup inside. The combination of the crispy base, savory pork filling, and a touch of chili oil made each bite satisfying. They are definitely messy to eat because of how much soup is inside, but that is also part of what makes them enjoyable, and the contrast between the crunchy bottom and the soft, soup-filled interior keeps the experience engaging from start to finish. Service is quick, especially considering how busy the food court can get, and the stall handles the steady flow with efficiency. The wait can build up during peak times, but the line usually moves steadily, and the staff keep the orders coming without much delay. Seating is shared with the rest of the food court, so it is more of a casual stop rather than somewhere to linger, but the quality of the buns makes it worth the short wait. Liu Liu Sheng Jian is a great option when craving freshly made sheng jian bao in Flushing. It keeps the focus on doing one thing well, and the quality of the buns makes it worth seeking out even among the many food options nearby. The combination of a crispy bottom, juicy filling, and the simplicity of the concept makes it a reliable stop for a satisfying, no-fuss meal.

We got the ginger milk pudding. Do think it's a bit pricey ($10) since it's an easy dessert to make but I guess it's all the theatrics. They pour the dessert in front of you and put a sand glass on top. Once sand glass is done, so is the dessert and you can even rest a spoon on top. The dessert is very smooth, barely a solid, and its ginger taste is very strong- which I like. Strong ginger but pairs well with the milk and good amount of sugar. It is a bit spicy but I like it this way. They do have a lot of other desserts as well as savory items on the menu. Intrigued by their savory menu and will definitely come back to try them next time.
