The host was rude. Gave me attitude when she saw we needed a table not a booth, tried blaming me for not telling her. So I got mad back and told her it was her job to ask not the other way around. I'm fat so it should be common sense that I would need a table, especially when she already knew I had a baby too! I had to wait on the food, finally got the food, then gave the waitress my card for payment. Food got cold while waiting on her to run my card. We ordered through Uber Eats, so I can't comment on the atmosphere or service, but the food was excellent. We tried the French toast with scrambled eggs and ham and the Meat omelette with hash browns. The ham was cooked with rosemary which made it extra delicious, and the eggs were perfectly fluffy. The Texas toast style French toast was a little dry, but the flavor was super. The omelette was wonderfully cheesy, and the hash browns were tasty with a little salt and pepper. One of our favorite places! Hubby and I use to be regulars years ago after the bars closed. It was our favorite after drinking food. Now we have a family and it's become our favorite family breakfast place. Our kids love the smiley face pancakes and we still love the Big Boy Breakfast Burritos. Waitstaff has always been wonderful and accommodating if we go with a large party. Weekend mornings we always get our favorite waitress, Stacia and she is ah-maze-ing! She takes all the orders without writing them down, even if it's 15 people, and has never missed an item. She is fabulous with our kiddos, especially our autistic boy. I've been here several times and I've NEVER had a bad experience. I've never had to wait long to be seated (if at all) and the service is always very friendly. The restaurant is also very clean which can be hard to come by, especially in this neighborhood. I'm a huge breakfast person so I always get some sort of breakfast dish (anywhere from the simple two eggs breakfast or eggs benedict to pancakes or something amazing from their specials). My fiance on the other hand has tried things from the breakfast and regular menu (one of the breakfast burritos, an omelette, philly cruiser or the italian sausage sandwich to name a few). Amazing green chili. I've been going her 3 or 4 times a week before covid an at least once a week since. I usually order something that includes their green chili because it's unbelievably good. On the rare occasion I don't, I still order a side of green chili because I NEED my weekly fix. I went in last night and the server was, as always, very attentive and took good care of me. I enjoy coming to this restaurant when I want a simple breakfast. Every time I have been here I have had a very delicious meal. The servers have always done such a great job taking my order in a timely manner, getting the food out hot, and always checking back after the first couple bites to make sure everything tastes great. We were not impressed with the food quality. My husband ordered the pork chops and they were OK. I ordered chicken fried steak, it tasted like what I've had at the school cafeteria and I asked the waitress about it and she said it was frozen, not made fresh. The side choice said southern style green beans and it was clearly bland beans out of a can. Overall not worth $13. My children ordered a burger which was average, the Buffalo chicken burger which was below average and all clearly a frozen small and thin patty flavored with Buffalo, and other meal was the burrito platter which was good. Waitress did a great a great job making sure our drinks stayed full and she was kind. When I went to ask for the check, the other wait staff was behind a wall by the kitchen and hot wearing a mask. Ate here on Sunday (July 31st) with my mom. Service could have been better. Both of our orders were messed up. I had Chicken Dumpling soup with my salad, but got a beef soup instead. My mom requested no whip cream on here pancakes, but was served pancakes with whip cream. There appeared to be a communication error here. For the money the food is not fresh, poorly cooked, and often cold. I'm done with bringing my family here. Too many bad meals. I had the privilege of dining here, today, for the first time. I'd been told about the great coffee, wonderful burgers, and amazing cinnamon rolls. No exaggerations - the food is WONDERFUL! I savored the 'Shroom Burger - YUM! It was so big, I had to bring half of it home. Loved the baby Romaine leaves, instead of regular iceberg lettuce. I'd been told the coffee was very good and tried it - I usually add flavored creamer, but this was good enough to drink black. We shared a Cinnamon Roll Skillet and that, too came home - it's a BIG cinnamon roll. I'll be back, for sure, and recommend this to anyone who wants really good diner-style food. We have heard about this place for years and finally decided to go. Very friendly, attentive and efficient waitress! The food was very good. I had a salad and it was huge and delicious (Fuji Apple salad). Husband had tenderloin sandwich. Wasn't like what we were used to for tenderloin sandwiches, but it had awesome flavor. I don't know what my of son ordered, but he liked it. Other son ordered a breakfast burrito. Was disappointed in this. I think it was the green chili that disappointed. It was "meh". BUT THEN: our bill was only $44! That's almost unheard of anymore for a family of 4! We WILL be back! I've been a fan of eating here and last year they issued a Great Scott's Eatery app for smartphones. When you opened their app menu "Loyalty" comes up. On there was 10 little red loyalty button, and every time you ate there, the server would punch one and it showed that you ate there. After 10 'punches' you would get a free meal... I can work with that!!! Now as of last week, July 9, 2016, that method has been voided. Now they give you a plastic card which when you go in, they scan it and now... it gives you points, Grrr. but you have to activate the card they give you, the web site is on your meal receipt. The web site is: "https://jaysgrillebar.alohaenterprise.com:4430/efMemberLinkLogin.do", but a message comes up when you try going there: "did not match any documents.". This real sucks, as I do not think they worked it out, worse of all, now you have another damn Plastic Card!!! read more

My husband and I go to Great Scotts in Broomfield often and we always have a great experience. However, on Easter Sunday we decided to order dinner (I preordered through Door-dash) and when we got our food it was not what we are normally used to from Great Scotts. The portions were very small, my salad was brown and the food was just not good at all. We were very disappointed. I did go look at Door-dash app and our food came from the one on Pecos, so I will never order nor go to this location again. I would also not recommend it either. read more

Extremely disappointed with how this restaurant has gone down hill in the last few months. Moving into this area I was very happy finding such a great place to eat and was sad when they closed to move locations. During the grand re-opening, service was great and the food was awesome. Lately not so much. Sometimes it can take ten minutes before my drink order is even taken. My food has come out cold a few times. I never recieved my shake or salad one night. Another night I was seated by the kitchen and all In could hear was cussing from the staff members in the kitchen and the waiters, sometimes my roommate and i have a toddler with us. Not cool. Sad to say I will not be going back here. After bad service from three different waiters I will no longer waste my money or time. read more
