The food was okay, kinda plain and flavorless. Matches the attitude of the employees though. Nothing like getting served by someone who doesn't want to be bothered. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I wouldn't ever say "I can go for some of that food from there again."

We sure were glad we went here. This was our third meal at the Mall of America over a long weekend, and the least expensive. We ordered two sides to avoid high carb bread: bowls of chili and the potato skins. The skins were $3.99 per order and fairly generous with the melted cheese and sour cream. We also ordered the chili. This was on the menu also for 3.99 per order, but for some reason we were only charged just over $2 for both orders, as if it was an extra you might put on a hot dog rather than a separate side order. They were small dishes to be sure, but with the onion, melted cheese and a generous scoop of sour cream, we were happy to pay under $10 for the entire meal. (No drinks to add to the total plus 10% off with a coupon) Okay, it isn't gourmet food, but it was pretty good for what it was. It took a while to get the food, but we weren't in a hurry.

Been to this place a few time in the past, really bad service this time. Very poor attitude from the employees there. The food was poorly prepared this time. When I asked for a manager from the cashier I was told there's no manager. I don't expect too much from Mall Food, but this visit was terrible.

Ate here 3 times this past week. I tried this place out the first night by ordering a super steak sandwich. The the bread came out soggy, but it was most likely due to ordering take out and walking back to the hotel as the freshly cooked steak was steaming. Went back the second time and ordered the original philly and cheese fries. Both times, the sandwiches were packed with a fair amount of meat and the sandwich tasted so much better as I started eating before it turned soggy. I loved the cheese fries, so I went back the next day just to order cheese fries. Keep in mind this the mall's food court, so I did not go in expecting services.

Chef Pedro took our order (bonus points) and we had a lovely conversation about New Orleans. The menu here has a lot of New Orleans food intertwined. Based on where Pedro previously worked in New Orleans, he has an outstanding culinary background. I was going to order the Muffaletta, which can be served hot or cold, but they were out. When I heard why, I was impressed. In New Orleans, the gold standard of bread is Leidenheimer. Minnesota doesn't have the same bread (Trung Nam Bakery is the closest substitute). Pedro uses Leidenheimer for his Muffalettas. Pedro also makes his own olive salad. I am looking forward to trying a Muffaletta. My husband ordered the Zambon Dip and really enjoyed it. I had the Herb Brooks Focaccia. It was great. Big portions. What is really funny is I knew the North Stars as I worked at the Met Center. Fun memorabilia too. On street parking and some tables outside. What we used to call a neighborhood joint. Stop in and say hi to Pedro. Now I just wish he would make Gumbo with some okra and filé.

Seems like a really busy takeout spot. Order: the North Star deluxe. Delicious. Their take on a Reuben without the kraut. All the meats were delicious and distinctive in flavor. The creole mayo added that nice creaminess. The homemade pickles on the side added that little vinegar punch to cut thru the richness of the sandwich. Smoked salmon BLT. Huge potion of perfectly smoked salmon. The smoke and crunch of the bacon was a perfect pairing. This is an amazing creative surf and turf. Overall: This is a must try on your Minnesota food tour.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

Food was freshly made, grilling meats, cooking pasta and constantly being replenished. I ordered the regular sized Diavolo Pasta (spicy red sauce). It was a good size portion got me full. You get to choose your protein for a few extra bucks. The grilled chicken was well-seasoned and tasted great. Big plus for grating from a block of fresh Parmesan cheese. I also tried the side, calamari fritto misto ($6.99). The portion was good for sharing and it came with spicy peppers. Unfortunately, it was very greasy, not crispy and a bit mushy. It was freshly fried, but I wish it had more crunch. Finished it off with a black peach tea, which was delicious. They also have bowls and wraps. Overall, great option for a quick, fresh Italian meal in the food court.

The atmosphere is fun and lively, although it does get pretty noisy, so it can be a little hard to hear at times. The food was delicious and definitely not your average brunch menu. Everything felt thoughtful, unique, and full of flavor. Most items are made from scratch, including the biscuits, the bacon, and even the hot sauce, which really shows in the taste. The Mediterranean tartine was a standout with the perfect balance of salty prosciutto and the sweet balsamic onion ricotta. The house Benedict was excellent and the hollandaise was some of the best I've had. The waffle was good but nothing especially memorable, it felt a little overpowered by the raspberry compote. The cocktails were fantastic too. The Orange Dream was the perfect brunch drink, light, creamy, and refreshing. Overall, a great experience with incredible food and wonderful service.
