I'm so sad that they are closing this Mall of America location. I like the options to have a hot sandwich as not a lot of places in the food court have a variety of options like Panera Bread. My daughter loves their Mac and cheese and the baguette. Their salads are good plus soups. Their toasted Italiano sandwich was flavorful and amazing with the right amount of crispiness of the bread. Service was friendly and helpful. Dining area was clean. Their hot water was not hot but cold. read more

At the Mall of America there are many dining options, unfortunately not many of them are healthy options. I was excited to see Panera Bread in the food court. I ordered a sandwich, chips, a cookie, and a Sips drink. The food was good. The restaurant was crowded and it took a little bit to find a clean and empty table. It also took a while for the food to come out. This was a good spot to rest recharge for the rest of the day at the Mall of America. I recommend Panera Bread. read more

This location is found near the food court near the Raddison Hotel side of MOA. They have a lot of seating and ordering is very easy. After ordering, you will go near the back of the restaurant to pick up your food. They have a screen that shows your name and what stage the restaurant is at in terms of preparing your food. As this place is located at the mall, it can get quite noisy during rush hour. Great selection of sandwiches and drinks! Nice place to go with friends or if you have a family with kids! read more

I've only been a few times due to the locations & price but I absolutely love their soup broccoli and cheese it's my favorite out of anywhere and the turkey sandwiches are fresh. If you like salads they make a lot of different varieties and they usually have fresh tea as well read more

The cashier was nice. Food was surprisingly good. But the appearance is terrible. How do you have damn near 10 employees working and nobody is cleaning the food on the tables and chairs/booths. I walk in and ask for a breakfast sandwich, the cashier says oh actually breakfast is over. Ok fine. I ask for a iced coffee, she states actually it's self serve. Also when paying with card it asks for tips? Um i'm not tipping on self service. I get my cup and do my coffee, no regular half and half, the bins where the coffee is stored are empty. The tops are all the way at the back of the store so you have to walk over with your prepared coffee to get a top. My boyfriends supposed to be hot decaf coffee was ice cold. This Panera Bread is super high-tech and advanced. Walking in, there's four tablets on the side where you can place your order and pay by yourself. You can also order and pay at the cash register too. Once you place your order, you receive a buzzer and you can take a seat. The place is very large with tons of seating and is overall, very well-maintained, clean, and organized. A worker delivered our order to our table in just a few short minutes after placing our order - service is fast! The only major downside is, the portions are pretty small for the price you are paying. I ordered the "Pick 2" option and got a salad and a half-sandwich. The half-sandwich was close to $5.50 and was extremely tiny. It's a pricier option, but healthier & their breads and pastries always taste fresh. read more

This is my favorite Panera in the Twin Cities. They are friendly and polite. They deliver the food to the table and ask if there is anything else that you need. I wish other Panera locations would learn from these guys. Nolan is a your Manager that is the one I saw today. He is great. He engages the customer in a helpful and friendly manner. I wish the practices of this location rubs off onto the others. I do like the healthy food that Panera commits to serving. I have lost 110 lbs and i want to continue to eat well and stay in shape!! we usually love Panera Bread but this place was awefull. our takeaway chicken avocado melt had one piece of avocado and a pile of cilantro on one spot. the bread was also different to what it's normally on. the chicken noodle soup had have one piece of chicken and two noodles. the baguette was ice cold so maybe just out of the freezer. Since the line was looooong probably a staffing problem but this was most definitely NOT okay. read more

No matter where you are, Panera does a good job of being consistent (at least my experience). It's a nice addition to the Mall of America and gives a healthy option among the many other quick serve/fast food restaurants. As soon as you walk in the door, you get to pick whether you would like to order from a tablet or a human. This is a a convenient luxury, especially for a place like Panera where it can be difficult to decide what to order. Having someone staring blankly behind a counter while you nervously squint at the menu can be intimidating. Another great tech feature that more establishments are incorporating is the ability to order from your mobile device/laptop. This allows you to order ahead of time and simply walk in to pick up your food without waiting or having to stand in line. It's great to have this ability at the mall because in groups, people tend to want to get food from different restaurants and gather in the food court to eat. The food here is typical of what you'd expect but what's great about this particular location is the service. For whatever reason, the multiple times that I've been in, the employees here are always chipper and eager to be of help. Although there are a ton of choices to eat at MOA, Panera is a solid one that I would recommend. read more

The Panera in the mall is so cozy, it's always clean and the employees are welcoming. Whenever I come here it is to study or to catch up with friends because it's never too loud or busy. My favorite thing to buy a drink because their passion papaya green tea is the best, I get it every time! It is so much more cheaper than Starbucks and if you stay in the restaurant you get free refills (and for about $2.50 that's an amazing deal). The only reason why I docked it a star is because today i bought food for a change and I ordered the Chicken Tortellini Alfredo which came with a baguette. It was delicious but the chicken didn't seem quite right, it almost reminded me of canned chicken because it was broken up into very small chunks. Also the portion was very very small. I understand it is because of the quality ingredients in it but for $9.34, I would've gone to noodles and company down the hall. read more

I ordered the bacon turkey bravo sandwich with tomato basil, signature sauce, lettuce, tomato and American cheese with a little salt and pepper; pickle spear; chips; and large drink. We've had several conferences at MOA in the last few months and have learned our lesson the hard way when it comes to ordering for 15+ people during the lunch rush on a weekend at MOA: Panera does it the best. The food is great, the service is quick, we order online and it's ready by the time we walk down there, detailed printed receipt, names attached to our orders, big smile on the staff's faces, oh and a free goody bag full of extra apples, chips, breads, sides, cookies, etc. Panera for the win; making our lunch during conferences easier every time. read more

I'm so happy there's a Panera in the Mall now!! I had just come back from vacation and wanted a really healthy option. Panera is definitely my go-to and how convenient is it that there's one right in the Mall now. The space is pretty large (granted, it was a Monday night so I'm sure on weekends it'd be a bit more crazy). But compared to next door neighbor Freshii, the seating is really good. Our food came out really quickly. We had a buzzer for when our food was ready, but the manager (I think) came and brought us our food. He was really nice!! I wish I had gotten his name, but he stopped by a couple times just to check in and we really appreciated that. There's one bathroom (unisex) located in the back. So the only downside is that there are probably lines for the bathroom during peak hours. read more

I ordered a salad on the nice self serve kiosk they had. Great idea! I added extra chicken, avocado, onions. When my salad was brought to me it had no avocado, the pulled chicken I paid extra for looked like mush. And there was literally 3 blueberries.... it was so bland and disappointing I had to ask them to remake it. The first employee I talked to wasn't very accommodating. He just offered to give me more dressing to give it more flavour.... umm no. When you're paying close to 20 bucks for a salad it should be impressive. Panera Bread is pretty consistent at making their food really good. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and it was thankfully really good. A small problem I had was I was given barely any avocado in the sandwich, two small slices at most. My main problem was the wait. This panera was not to my satisfaction. First, the workers were very unpleasant and rude while I was ordering. Then when I got my food, the salad size proportions were off. I used to work at Panera and I know the size was inaccurate. For the food prices being so expensive, I should get my money's worth of not only food but also the experience.
