Get ready for the delicious juice explosion

Food 4.8 of 5 Service 4.7 of 5 Found this spot on yelp and gentleman who sounded like the owner, greeted me and told me about the different sandwiches and burgers, but I had to go with the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. The gentleman walked me through their process of getting their rib eye meat into the sandwich--the careful selection of the cattle, of how they cut the meat by hand and a few more cool details that I forgot. It was very interesting to hear and after a short wait I got to try the sandwich with a side of zucchini sticks. Both the Philly steak and the zucchini were super delicious. The rib eye meat was juicy, flavorful and literally melting in my mouth -- the tenderest I've ever had in a philly sandwich. The zucchini sticks were thick and deepfried in batter, with some cheese on top. Crunchy as you take the bite initially but then you get to taste that ultimate freshness of zucchini as its fresh juices kinda shoot out into your mouth and hit your taste buds. I like spice, so I got a side of their habanero aioli sauce and that one too, was pretty flavorful and also hot like I like it. The place is kinda a hole in the wall with a few tables inside, but has good energy. The meal I thought was a bit pricey, but I guess you are paying for quality of the rib eye and the ultimate freshness of all other ingredients. Will come back for this Philly cheesesteak again. It was definitely special.

This place is the real deal! Hole in the wall family owned restaurant with the best burgers and sandwiches in town! The staff were so kind and genuine to every customer who came in. This was my first time here and I am blown away by the quality of food & service. This will definitely be my go to spot when in town! Thank you Bomb Hoagie for making my day! I will see you guys soon

Hand cut chips. Ate half the bag before we got home.

Wanted to try something new in Simi and wound up here. The owner ET was really helpful and had great recommendations. We got the El Diablo cheesesteak, the Italian hoagie and the albacore hoagie. All really really good and FRESH. We even gotta try the homemade chips and hand cut fries and will definitely be back for those. AND THE RANCH 10/10 Thanks ET Go go go! We will be back

Here's the cheesteak I ordered, and it was piping hot, just the way I like it.

My best friend swears by this place, so much so that he's brought his close friends here just to prove how right he is that this restaurant is delicious. And he's right because he brought me here for the first time today and I loved it. For one thing the owner was so sweet that we got to talking about how I also love coke and when I went to fill my drink from the fountain, the coke ran out. So what did she do? She literally ran next door and BOUGHT me a coke bottle. Wow!!!

Chili cheese dog was amazing, and the bowl of ribeye chili was very flavorful. The food and the service were both exceptional. The cheesesteak was off the chain.

PMC - Pepper, Mushroom, Cheese w/chicken l side of homemade fries and ranch

I came across this on my yelp search trying to figure out what to eat for lunch on a late Friday afternoon and instantly had a craving for a Philly Cheese steak sandwich. Decided to check this place out in hopes to fulfill my craving. When we arrived we were greeted with great vibes and a friendly smile by ET (I'm assuming is the owner). My partner and I really wanted to try their PMC - Pepper, mushroom and cheese w/ sub chicken but it looked like they only had enough for 1. ET was so kind enough to offer a free meal on top of that to make up for it, but we were more than happy to just get the one PMC w/ chicken they had left and come back next time earlier in the week. He asked if we wanted homemade fries or chips on the house! We did not expect for any of that but ET went above and beyond to ensure we left happy. He even wrote down "Free Sandwich" on receipt paper for next time. Honestly remarkable service and best experience ever! We got everything to go. As soon as we got home we tried the Philly and homemade fries and MANNN it did NOT disappoint! I mean no joke... (and I even said this out loud) the best lunch I've had in a while!! The sandwich was packed with flavor and I enjoyed every single bite so much so I didn't want it to end. The homemade fries were amazing especially dipped in their ranch. I am a huge ranch girlie and I wanted to bathe in that ranch sauce y'all! I will be dreaming of the sandwich, fries and ranch until we meet again! Thanks ET for the hospitality see you soon!

Perfect spot to fill your hangry tummy! Service was great, greeted by the nice and welcoming owners. Clean bathrooms and small sitting area was clean as well. We ordered 2 Philly Cheesesteaks All In, kids cheeseburger, The Lone Ranger burger, and Philly fries. Everything was a 10/10!! Everything cooked fresh and hot to perfection! They do not skimp out here! Definitely come hungry and be ready to grub! Will be returning.

My husband and I always wanted to try this place and I wish we hadn't. I can't believe they allowed this to leave the restaurant. $15 for a pastrami sandwich that had maybe two slices of pastrami in it. $25 for a burger and 5 onion rings. I attached pictures. The only thing that was good was their fries. The burger was extremely tough and the pastrami barely tasted like anything, probably because there was barely anything there. Super disappointing.

    Philly fries and Spicy cheesesteak
    Joshua G.

10 out of 10 would recommend! I had the spicy cheesesteak and Philly Fries. Those fries were one of the best things I have ever eaten. I was planning on getting the PMC cheesesteak but then when I saw the Philly fries I didn't want to be too one note so I went with the spicy one with the jalapeños. That was good but if I come back I will definitely get the PMC cheesesteak and Philly fries. It's enough to split for sure. You can order at kiosks or at the register. There wasn't much staff so the kiosk is nice so the workers can focus on making the food. I did end up ordering in line just to get the free fries that came with a yelp checkin. The food came pretty quick and the owners ended up coming in and were asking my friend and I if we had been here before, which we had not. We had some small chitchat that nice to know the history or their restaurant. If I was back in the area I would DEFINITELY come back! Update: I couldn't finish my entire hoagie so I saved half of it and some of the regular fries I got. I heated it up in my toaster oven on 300 for about 15 minutes and it came out almost better than it was the first day. Having good tasting leftovers is a big deal!! So this is a double win. Highly recommend.

The service is always great, today I was assisted by Virgie who was very pleasant. The place was also clean which is always a plus. I ordered El Diablo burger with a side of chips rather than fries. The meat they use for the burger is high quality and you can taste it in every bite. The meat was cooked to perfection and it sort of just melted in my mouth. The habanero aioli added great flavor to the burger and a very light vinegary taste that cuts through at the end. The jalapeños tasted fresh and were not spicy imo (I have a high tolerance). The buns had a light crisp and were fluffy on the inside which complimented the rest of the burger so well. The chips are very thin, crispy, and lightly salted. Just inside the door it was obvious to get a place to sit you better be seated "now!" Everyone was eating, tables were covered with food, it looked great. Our order was taken, the person taking the order was quick, to the point and was not asking how my mother was doing. We were there to eat-not socialize. The receipt was ripped off and passed over with a flick. No instruction given like 'they'll call your number' or 'you pick up over there.' In the next 5 minutes if you paid attention for about 20 seconds you learned how things worked. It was busy, plates looked great and the aroma inside the place was something else. Our food came quick, we sat and began to peel open our pastrami dip sandwiches. Oh, they smelled great. They looked great. The meat was delicious, melt-in-your mouth tender. They did notice us! The bread was very good too-you know the Earl of Sandwich was onto to something way back when....the combination of meat and bread was great.
